Hey guys, gonna make this short but online college seemed like the perfect time to grind out gmod but I've been finding less motivation lately so I'm gonna work on my studies. Thank you so much for letting me into Delta Command, I really appreciate the thought behind it and I wish I could have made you guys more proud. 3 members of SMT held a event for D class to riot. we needed to supply them with stupidly good weapons (and even 500 HP and 100 ARMOR) to have a chance to beat you guys, you are not even giving this a chance but when D class complained about their fences i dont remember a single gensec not saying "just give it a bit" this wont be permanent if we feel it keeps D block unbalanced I even gassed GENSEC to give D class a chance, yet D class still failed It hasnt even been 3 hours, do you really need to get point blank range to deal with 100 100 classes (100 100 being a CC most D class are not even near 200 total points)

This suggestion was pretty laughable if you had seen todays riot. Not even explosives nor a man with a minigun with 500 hp and 100 armor couldn't even stop you guys. If D-Class can shoot at you then you can shoot back at them from that angle. D-Class can pretty much get deleted in about 3-5 shots. We made this change and it hasn't even been out for 24 hours and there is already a suggestion out please just wait a bit and see how this change goes into effect.

Permanent Bans are only issued when ALT accounts when attempting to evade a ban. Also, him saying he is and him doing that are two different things. I will extend his Research DNT to 2 Months for this however, and if he does use an alt account to evade it he can expect a permanent, non-appealable blacklist from Research

Ok so basically I got my grades today and they came out really good! And I am doing engineering and I really want to focus on this course to get a good future in my life. Unfortunately I will not have the time to play on the server and I wont be able to put maximum effort into the server as I once did before. So I will be leaving I cant believe I am actually saying that however its the best move for me at this current time of my life! I have played on the server for 8 months and with that time I have gained new friends that I will never forget! What are you suggesting? - The removal of the blue line from lower D-Block and the rules that accompany it. How would this change better the server? - Among a multitude of logistical reasons lies nearly every upper Gensec's opinion on this topic. For one, the D-Class never needed a buff, nor did Gensec need a nerf; to think such a thing would be nothing but ignorance to the facts that massive D-Block riots occur every single day, and D-Class escape every single day. D-Class can and have, escaped while Gensec was running with full force, and no one can deny this. This reason alone puts the Security SOP's explanation for this new rule aside. Not only does this new rule make Gensec's life as a whole much more difficult, but it also reduces the time MTF will have to monitor HCZ and deal with breached SCPs and GOI raids. There is already enough tension between Nu7 and Gensec, and we really don't need to be calling them in as much as we are already. Researchers will be at a loss in this scenario as well, as even when partial lockdown is called we won't be able to deal with threats behind the elevator, almost indefinitely multiplying the time partial lockdown or hands-up protocol would have to be called for. The main concern of my fellow Gensec is the inability to enforce partial lockdown effectively, please, if you won't listen to my plea, listen to the mass. The solution to this is to delete the pillars, or delete the line. This is not a dichotomy, it's sound in logic that we must be able to deal with any D-Class behind the pillars. For the D-Class to have 2 unreachable points in D-Block is nothing but absurd. We Gensec should have complete permission and the right to terminate D-Class breaking the rules of D-Block while they are in D-Block. With this line in effect, even medical will be put at a loss for RP. Our Enlisted depend on the Medbay with their lives. The surgery RP is great, however, when we have D-Class with snipers and assault rifles that are unable to be killed, our Enlisted will die in masses. Without our Enlisted I fear that Medics won't have enough RP for their time on this server to be considered interesting, without even approaching being fun. Of course the obvious answer is station Medics closer to D-Block, or even inside D-Block, however this removes the surgery aspect from the Medical's arsenal. The benefits are recognizable, as are the disadvantages. Please weigh them at your own discretion. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - D-Class are negated the benefit of being invincible. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Security, MTF, Researchers, and Medical Staff will all benefit from this change.

-support I agree with SMT. Although there are times when we lose D Block because our numbers are lacking, but most of the time, our numbers are decent, enabling us to be in full control of D Block. We still need to see how the blue line affects the fairness of D Block warfare.

+Support At first i thought it was just for the event, in which case it was fine, but we dont need it for everyday dblock, its unnecessary and just gives dclass a upgrade they really didnt need.

So I only took the sit and told this to go to the forums for the video. What I got from the story was mann was hitting Jamie with the fubar and then mann died came back out of spawn and was swinging the fubar at people again and Jamie tried to taze him and he proceeded to sit down. No matter the context of why he was being arrested sitting down while an officer is attempting to arrest you is failrp. +support

One the best candidates, I believe he will show a lot of RND type of research and represent us well.

After that I would check logs/evidence of what rules which player broke then issue a warn on what warn they broke (I would get an admin+ to ban any of them if it was needed) then I would issue a warn on anyone in the sit with Player Disrespect who continued the act, then also NCWS since they did not listen to staff. Atfer that is said and done I would return all remaining people in the sit so that they could return to Role Playing. Reason I don't have tags. I have tags within the Discord, Teamspeak and in game. I probably don't have them due to SMT being pretty busy. I got them removed due to missing rolecall, but there was irl things that happened making it impossible for me to make rolecall. What are you suggesting? - Add back a different Mining system for a donator rank of D class, but instead of using it to make weapons, you use it exclusively to make cash. First, I'd put the Donator rank required in order to get to the job to be at Silver or gold and restrict the class to be 3 people on the job max with further donator ranks able to purchase additional equipment past the usual, if at all possible. Furthermore, The D class job specifically made to make the Mining equipment can be both regulated easily to reduce potential lag, Reduce potential lag through restricted numbers, and to reduce lag by making the equipment in question removable easily due to it being a bought entity. In addition to this, the zone that can be dedicated to mining can be inside of the D block Arena that has been almost nearly useless as no one has legitimately used it for combat and the restriction to the room can both encourage people to use less entities from the reduced space, reduce the potential lag due to the reduced possible entity count, and make sure D class cant use the Entities in order to minge. Next, the money itself given out per ingot sold can be regulated to be as low or as high as needed, allowing for it to be buffed/nerfed with suggestions or SMT/Staff Discretion. Lastly, it can encourage people to pay more for a donator job that can earn them more money through a legitimate means. To justify the D class having the ability to mine for Foundation can be explained as the Foundation using the Labor of their captors in order to further fund the Foundation and its operations by putting the seller for the Gold in the back of upper D block or in the same room as where the ores are. Finally, it can be added as a specific Custom Class type that doesnt spawn with weaponry, but are specifically made to be able to guarantee a slot and its own mining sector since the Addon has a way to create their own privatized Mining sector. How would this change better the server? - It can encourage people to play on the server more often and almost guarantee at least someone on the job trying to make bank. Furthermore, it can give an easier alternative for people to make money besides staying AFK during the night. In addition to this, it can give people to do during down times when the job is available and it can give the wasted potential space in D block a way to be used. Plus, it can bring back a type of system that had been used in days past. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - The entities used in the refinement process of ores can cause some lag for the server if used incorrectly or in a inappropriate way. Who would this change mostly benefit? - The change will benefit those with a high enough donator rank to be able to get to the class and those who are willing to put in the hours needed to grind for higher amounts of money.
