  1. Ight imma leave this here for all the people saying that "a rule is a rule and you should be warned for breaking it": Would you warn someone for body blocking when they were trying to fix a broken door? Would you warn someone for RDM when they killed someone who is stuck in a ceiling? What about for spawning a prop on D-class to fix an elevator? If fixing frequent issues is now something staff warn people for, it's news to me, and some crazy news at that.

  2. Welcome to Gaminglight SCP-RP! You may have just joined, or have been around for a bit already. If you don't know who I am, that's fine, but I hope to meet you in-game or in TeamSpeak sometime! My name is Bread and I will be your guide for today. What is this post you ask? It is a roundup of each branch/set of classes, and what they do. The intention of this post is to help newer players learn the general ropes and help them find a branch or set of jobs they would like to play on. These are not the rules! Make sure to read them here for more in-depth rules about everything: The Rules for SCP-RP Up-to-date: March 2021 Class Groups Make sure to not have more than 2 lives! Site Administration contains members of the community that are in charge of overseeing the activity and efficiency of all branches, with different members specializing in different departments. Site Administration jobs can only be earned through ranking up any respective branch, all the way up to reaching O5. O5 consist of two groups, SMT-O5 and Non-SMT-O5. Do keep in mind, saying O5 is out of RP, as most players do not know who they are in-RP. O5 Staff is earned by applying for it in the Site Administration section, and you must be in MTF, Research (Researcher+), or Medical (Medic+). They are in charge of protecting Site Administration. 5. Post name: “SCP-280” 1. Name of the SCP you would like added:SCP-280 2. Link(s) to playermodels: {will add the model. The model is currently in the server. ATM not on my pc.} 3. Link(s) to sweps: Fists 4. How much health/armor do you think it should have? 175/150 {Can be edited} 5. Why should we add this SCP? A new way to breach, creating a new interesting SCP, that’ll be fun to play with. This SCP acts as a punishment to not keeping lights on at all time. These SCP will be able to spawn in and cause terror in the facility, if the facility was to have a complete blackout and no technician is doing their job to repairing it. This can also be a great SCP for research to test on, and test different light to see how they react. The way they self breach is if the lights been off for about 5 minutes {May be edited} , and they begin to phase through the door and make their attack. 6. Basic summary of the SCP: In the event of an SCP-280 attack, all staff are to power on their flashlights and illuminate the subject under attack. No aggressive action is to be taken against SCP-280, and staff are to keep one meter from SCP-280 at all times. Staff should continue to illuminate SCP-280 until it retreats to a sufficient distance to allow the recovery and extraction of the subject of the attack. Description: SCP-280 is a black human-shaped mass with two large white eyes on the head and two hands with very long and thin fingers. No feet or legs are visible, as the lower portion of the body appears to fade away several centimeters from the ground. SCP-280 appears to be wholly composed of matter that can gain or lose corporeal form. This matter is very black, with only the eyes showing any other color, and when changing to a non-corporeal form, looks much like smoke. 7. Extra information: If you’re interested in this SCP. Please give input and suggestions and I’ll update this post with the changes.

  6. Take this up to PD High Command if they want it added. I can see it was approved, if so then Alton needs to message me on discord to get it added. Thanks. This is a thing to ensure no one is skipping over HC about decisions and etc! Hope you can understand that.

  7. Name: Junior Researcher Fasten Rank: Junior Researcher SCP: 173/1048 [527 was present, but did not participate in the test] List of Personnel involved in testing: Junior Researcher Jarrett, one MTF. Level D Personnel involved: One Class D [see report for more information] Risks/Safety Precautions: Armed personnel to ensure safety and containment. Background Research: SCP 173 has been shown to be incredibly aggressive and violent to all that come into contact with it. SCP 1048 is an animated teddy bear, with tendencies for collecting human ears. What I’m teaching/testing: Junior Researcher Jarrett was the creative mastermind of this test. The test aimed to see how SCP 173 and SCP 1048 interacted with each other in a closed space, as well as when observed. Observation: Be advised that the proceedings of this test were unorthodox from traditional SCP Foundation procedure. SCP 1048 seemed to have a keen interest in entering the SCP 173’s containment chamber prior to the beginning of this test. With SCP 1048, SCP 528, Junior Researcher Jarrett, and an MTF officer facing SCP 173’s containment door, I opened the door from within the control room. SCP 1048 was instructed to step inside the containment chamber with SCP 173, before the door was promptly closed. Sounds from within the chamber, consistent with those made from 173’s movement, could be heard from within. After a period of ten seconds, the containment door was opened once more. Recorded observations placed SCP 173 ‘frozen mid-action’ over SCP 1048. The pose appeared non-aggressive, and 1048 was reported ‘cuddling’ and climbing up the limbs of 173. The containment doors were closed for another period of ten seconds, before being reopened. This time, it appeared as though 173 and 1048 relocated to one of the cell corners, once more in a ‘cuddling’ position, with 1048 acting affectionately towards 173. The containment cell was closed once more, however, before it could be reopened for a final observation, the MTF officer was ambushed and terminated by an escaped Class D wielding a stolen shotgun. The Class D, whom as of this writing has not been identified, showed no further aggressions against Junior Researcher Jarrett, myself, nor SCP 527. While unorthodox, the Class D agreed to observe SCP 173 for a period long enough to retrieve SCP 1048 from the containment cell. Unfortunately, whether it was due to a lapse of concentration or unforeseen complications, SCP 173 swiftly emerged from it’s containment chamber, terminating the Class D. Junior Researcher Jarrett was able to escape into the control room with me, before 173 and 1048 fled into the adjacent hall. It was at this time that MTF reinforcements arrived, after a call was put out of a Euclid class containment breach. Junior Researcher Jarrett and myself offered to help in pacifying SCP 173, so that it might be safely recontained. To my own utter fascination, SCP 1048 remained close to 173 during it’s containment breach, appearing to guide him down hallways, in the direction of the Heavy Containment Zone checkpoint. Both SCP subjects were intercepted by further MTF units arriving from Heavy Containment, and the containment of 173 soon followed. 1048 retreated into 173’s containment chamber with the recontained SCP, and refused to leave when instructed to vacate the chamber. On-site MTF concluded that it was safer to leave 1048 contained with 173, until further notice. Conclusion: While SCP 173 has shown active hostility in all previous encounters, it acted curiously passive towards SCP 1048. More than that, it acted in ways that might even be interpreted as ‘affectionate’. Despite both SCP subjects lacking clear means of communication, the two appeared to have formed something of a ‘friendship’ with one another, with SCP 1048 going so far as to aid in SCP 173’s containment breach. 173 itself appeared less aggressive during this breach, instead opting for immediate escape from Foundation personnel, with notable exception given to the escaped Class D. This suggests that 173’s range of emotions and cognitive function might be more extensive and complex than initially theorized. It might also mean that 1048 possesses the ability to form emotional attachment with unlikely subjects. Further tests will need to be done to see if this behavior was an oddity or if it is a permanent change.

  8. -support So I decided to really look into this suggestion and i'm kinda shell shocked at how weird this is... "They are a multipurpose force, prepared to deal with various combatants, and anomalous creatures or activity. " - So i'm guessing you will be supporting MTF while D block is secure during a breach? That's a no from me chief, leave the 3 MTF branches to the only job they have, mainly Nu7. They don't need Gensec to have up to SEVENTEEN 'Not special forces' taking over their job... Which leads me to my second point, an overall 17 slots? 7, 5 and 5? Really? Not sure if slots take up server memory but this is a waste to the extreme and overall unnecessary and if full WAY to OP against both D block and SCPS as these guns, mainly such guns as the mossberg are special forces guns. Also Overseer level 4? Not needed. 3 jobs with an overall occupancy of 17? No and too much, I'd only barley say yes to 2 jobs with an overall of 7 or 8. Against CI this is too much, meeting 17 semi special forces while finally getting to HCZ is taking the piss, this now makes 4 branches vs 1. Also, with every SCP heading to LCZ all the time as they know thats where they can get any kills, this new job with a strategic spawn is just gonna destroy them as they have nothing better to do, making mtf going to LCZ to deal with SCPs pointless, making E11 and Nu7 mainly upset. Also in terms of branch relations I can already see this destroying it in seconds with infighting, there is gonna be clear lapses in authority and MTF are just gonna be sick to death of it. Also tryouts? Not selection and then classified tryout? Also with the current 17 slot proposal I can see more than just 1-2 being allowed in and tryouts happening like wildfire. ---------------- What I think can make this better. Slight change in guns to add a bit of uniqueness Change in duty and authority SLOTS BEING REDUCED MAJORLY 5 operative, 3 overseer. No Initiate Job, just Operative and Overseer and thats already pushing it. Don't see Coldsilver overseer and vice versa with the other MTFs so why should you? Stricter rules in terms of behavior Also a specification of MTF authority over duties involving SCPS. Meaning Nu7 / E11 have charge in their own duties not Gensec. (Didn't say Omi9 as they are anti personnel / CI) -------------- This is not me shitting on gensec, I do believe this job can be great but the issues I can see are just too much for me for me to ignore. For me without change to this job I can only see infighting.

  13. Your In-game Name: BadAim Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:81238702 The admin's name in-game: Sparkle The admin's steam name: [GL] RDSparkle What warning did you receive: Prop Minge (as D-class) When did you receive this warning: 8/15/2020 Why do you think this warn was false: There are 2 things that are done when the elevator breaks: Either a player calls staff, or they put a prop down, and send someone to the top of the elevator to press the button (which fixes it). I decided to do the latter of which as it was much faster, and after I had done so and the elevator had been fixed, I had been brought to a room and been told that what I did was considered prop minging. He then informed me that a player had already called staff to fix the elevator (how would I be aware of this), because of this, and that I was a 2 time offender for prop minging, he was going to issue a warning. This whole situation is beyond ridiculous, as this is very commonly done as the elevator usually breaks plenty of times every day. I fail to see where I am at fault here and I think that this is ridiculous Evidence the warning is false: Anyone who plays Class-D can tell you how common this is to done. Any extra information: Sparkle said that a warning I had received 1 year ago for an unrelated situation made him believe that I was a 2 time offender for prop minging.

  15. I have yet to come across another player who has even come close to the amount of trouble you caused with your time on SCP:RP. As you mentioned, you intentionally got yourself blacklisted from almost every single branch, every single job, and you thought it was amusing. The staff members who were constantly called to sits regarding you didn't find it amusing, but you didn't care. You had a complete disregard for the MOTD, and had no regard to change. So please do excuse me if it seems a bit hard to accept you want to change when there has yet to be as unapologetic of a person I have banned even to this day. If you really believe you have changed and you feel bad, why would you say this when you were discussing your ban in Igneous' Stream earlier?: http://prntscr.com/u0qcoi (Clue in for those who don't know: I was the event manager at the time, so I can only assume that this is in regards to me; the issuer of the ban. If I'm wrong, I do apologize.)
