  1. + Support As someone who occasionally uses night-vision goggles, I don't wear them unless I'm actively using them for something, they're uncomfortable. MTF wouldn't be wearing them 24/7 after completing whatever check that they're completing.
  2. To add, when I started as a Trial Mod here I had no staffing experience, and now I'm a Super Admin! So no worries on the lack of experience!
  3. It's an extremely quick and easy fix, so a strike likely wouldn't be warranted. In any case, + Support
  4. In-game Name: Rookieblue Rank: Senior Technician Are you an FTO/Containment Engineer: FTO Concerns or ideas for technical branch: None at this time
  5. - Support All reasons are already stated above. A simple mistake, which has since been rectified.
  6. Honestly calling someone an idiot doesn't reach the level of a player dis warning unless there are other circumstances involved in my book.
  7. This warning is 7 months old. Why are you just now appealing this?
  8. This would remove about 25% of staff calls when Medical is active. + Support
  9. The requirements to apply for our staff team are: - 1 week playing on the community - Active on Forums/TeamSpeak (We would like to see at least 25+ Posts for your Forums Account) - Well known among community members - Good reputation with other members of the community There is no payment for staffing, as it is a voluntary thing.
  10. Two responses in less than three hours, so that's already going against what you predicted. tsk tsk On a more serious note, the staff handbook serves as a guideline for potential sanction that a staff member can utilize when dealing with a situation, not mandates. Quoting the staff handbook specifically: "We trust that our staff can deal with Sits/Issues with Fairness, Honesty and common sense. There will not be a guideline for every punishment so it will be up to you the staff member to decide if you are having an issue deciding what the punishment should be asking another staff member. " "Not all situations require punishments. Some staff may decide to let players off, while others may feel they need to punish. This is the call of the staff member and should be done by a case by case basis." This essentially gives staff members the discretion to issue sanctions as they deem necessary. However, given that this was your first offense and that it was an unusual situation of a custom D-Class having restraints I would + Support lowering the ban to 24 hours.
  11. If you believe specific feedback that you're receiving crosses the line from constructive to disrespectful, report the content for a forum diplomat to review. This is the best way to ensure that specific incidents are properly addressed.
  12. + Support I've seen him on the server a few times and I've never had an issue with his conduct. His application is also fairly well done and I don't see any significant issues. Good luck!
  13. 30 warnings confirmed, has also had two previous bans on his record. Warnings that he has received have typically been FailRP, RDM, Prop Killing, and Prop Minging, though some others are also sprinkled around in there. I would support a due to this ongoing conduct that has yet to change despite numerous warnings and bans, I would support a two week or even higher ban. + Support
  14. In this instance, the staff member was in the right. After learning that they shouldn't have locked down Medbay they immediately reversed the lockdown. SCP 096 would've entered Medbay had Alex known that he shouldn't have locked it down in the first place. Though his actions initially prevented 096 from getting in, Alex made the correct decision in reversing the Medbay lockdown. The fact that 096 was on the other side of the door is an unfortunate coincidence, but nothing Alex was responsible for.
  15. In the future I'd recommend reaching out to a low command member in MTF E-11 to discuss a situation like this either in-game, via discord, or in TeamSpeak rather than making a post on the general section to ensure you get a proper response, or to have a question answered by someone who is aware of particular situations surrounding a specific individual.
  16. Can you explain what Buddha mode even is for those of us that have no idea what you're proposing?
  17. + Support to remove it from SCPs - Support to remove it from D-Class. This is a speciality weapon that is bought with real money, as D-Class is the most played class this would put an undue restriction on a donation benefit.
  18. What do you want to see?: I would like to see the addition of a blacklist appeal format included in either the Ban Appeal or Report Center locations to provide players with a clear place to file such an appeal, as well as make it easier for SMT/Branch Command personnel processing such an appeal. Why should we add it?: I believe this would provide players with a clearer avenue to request blacklists from certain jobs be removed, as well as make it easier for such appeals to be processed by having all the information initially provided by having an established format. What are the advantages of having this? - Makes it easier to file an appeal on the player side, and makes it easier to process appeals on the SMT/Branch Command side. Who is it mainly for? - Anyone who has received a blacklist for a job, branch command personnel, SMT personnel. Links to any content - Proposed Format Fill out the following information to seek an appeal of a job blacklist. Steam Name: Ingame Name: SteamID: Job Blacklisted From: Reason for the Job Blacklist: Dispute:
  19. + Support No new warnings in 2 months, player is now a staff member himself, I think revoking the blacklist and giving him a second chance would be permissible.
  20. Unfortunately, unless you have a recording of what happened, there's no real way to prove that you crashed instead of LTAP'd.
