  1. + Support This would bring a great new aspect to 035-1 that falls within lore, and would increase the potential RP value of this SCP.
  2. +Support I'm always for giving more opportunities to lower command members to take part in ensuring the branch is well run. Honestly, keeping the roster up to date shouldn't have to fall to the HOS and DHOS's since it's such a continuous task. Allowing more personnel access to keeping it up to date ensures that any mistakes are quickly fixed and that it's continuously kept up to date. Command members are made command members for a reason, so I support increasing the trust that's given to them.
  3. + Support While it's true he didn't necessarily need to be on the 343 job to do what he did, the fact that he was continuously minging in this manner while on 343 makes it reasonable to lose the privilege to be 343.
  4. - Support Has the proper standing permissions to spawn in the vehicle, and it wasn't used in a malicious manner.

Okay, in the future if you can get the person's name and steam ID, we can take action after the fact for situations like this! However, thanks for bringing it to our attention either way!
  6. + Support in removing PKs. I rarely if ever have seen PKs actually put in place, and it makes it harder for branch command members to be able to track who is all in their branch if they have to constantly change names if PKs are on the rise.
  7. Honestly, trainees should not have radios. However SO's should have them in my opinion for the ability to communicate. If the SOs abuse it, demote them off the job/report it to staff for them to be taken care of.
  8. I would support the admin rank for its approval to be lowered to Senior Admin to allow for it to be used more often.
  9. Hoovy is on LOA but said he will respond to this as soon as he can.

  11. As a SCP, you have to take steps to avoid grouping up with other SCPs. "We're going in the same direction" isn't really a valid excuse in my eyes, as there are different routes to the LCZ or EZ that would've meant splitting with 682. Additionally, as SCP 076-2, lore-wise you look for people that would challenge you, rather someone simply having weapons. While on the server someone having a weapon out would satisfy the rage requirement, just seeking out "weapons this way" isn't necessarily lore-friendly. For the RDM part, this is less RDM and more FailRP. According to the MOTD: Do not do FailRP, which is doing things that would be unrealistic, or not consistent with what your character would do. This includes failing to follow orders from those who outrank you. The Medical SOP is put in place by medical command staff and doing something contrary to the SCP is disobeying orders from someone that outranks you. Medical staff are not GENSEC, and should not be joining in to defend D-Block. Medical staff are authorized to carry pistols for self-defense only, and acting as a guard does not equal self-defense. My final decision will depend on Fear's side of the story, but I'm currently learning +/- Support for the 076-2 FailRP and - Support for the RDM.

  13. +/- Support When I saw that you had applied for Trial Moderator I was initially very happy because from what I've seen from you as a GENSEC command member is that you're a solid individual with great decision-making skills, and that's something that I think is a great skill for a potential staff member to have. Unfortunately, the application itself just doesn't rise to the occasion in my eye. One of the things I like to see is community engagement, which is shown by posts on the forums. Staff members should be active in the community in a variety of ways, not just on the server, including on discord, teamspeak, and here on the forums. Providing feedback on suggestions, getting involved in general discussions on the forums itself, or otherwise finding ways to participate help building your positive reputation with community members, and show that you want to be a positive figure with us. Unfortunately, you don't haven't demonstrate a lot of engagement with your current forum posts, but I hope to see that improve. Regarding question 16, as a staff member, we have to work our magic by looking at the totality of the circumstances when dealing with people. The individual in question in this scenario was initially brought into a sit for mass RDM, and then when confronted continuously swears at you. Now, as a staff member, you have a great deal of discretion when administering punishment, but you have to be able to justify what you're doing. A simple server warning for Mass RDM and then swearing at you could be appropriate, but you'd need to demonstrate your thinking here that would show why it's appropriate. For example, did you check to see if he had a history of warnings against him? Was it a D-Class attacking other D-Class members, or a GENSEC SO wiping out his fellow colleagues? Where multiple reports being generated by multiple people for these issues, or did you happen to just come upon it and intervene before a report was generated? These are all things to keep in mind, and things you'll need to know to justify whatever enforcement action you take. I do think you have a lot of valuable experience that you bring with you, and I hope to see you on the staff steam sometime soon, but maybe after improving your application next time.
