  1. What is your name?: Ben What is your rank?: Navigation Pilot How long have you been a NCO?: 2 weeks What rank are you applying for?: Flight Lieutenant How many strikes do you have?: 0 Why should we trust you with an Officer rank?: Really committed to SF and want to improve it. I am always active and I am on every day. I am always doing or trying to do tryouts at any time that I can. When everyone is unorganized during an event and I am the highest on I always try to take lead to get us organized and take down the ships faster with less crashes. I have been in the Starfighter Corps since the first week of october. Maybe I’m ahead of myself but doesn’t that just show you my determination to be able to lead everyone. Even if no one is on SF you will see me in the TS channel and on SF either training or practicing flying. Even when I was on my LOA I was paying attention to SF through the discord for any changes they made while I was away. I think I have a lot of good ideas for SF and would like to implement them to keep it fun and less mingey. I have been playing StarwarsRP in general for 2 years so I know what to do. What can you do to assist command with this rank?: I am the Onyx squad captain and have successfully revived the squad and in under a week we now have 6 active Onyx members. I am always on after school and basically all day during the weekends (Unless I have people over or getting ready for winter) so I can always help out when Sully is busy or just isn’t on. We don’t have many Officers so I will be able to help out the NCO’s with training and Enlisted learning more about SF as they go and teach them how we lead. I want to make sure SF has at more than 4 tryouts a day with at least 1 person passing them. I want to implement and enforce a better battle spacing rule because we have too many people crashing into each other during events which is a waste of time. I want to really enforce PTS during events to only have important information so it’s not really PTS but more like battle comms for things like “X-wing in the airspace” or “One X-wing down” stuff like that that we would need to know instead of kids screaming into their mic about a funny thing they saw. I think we should be in “In character operations rather than Out of Character especially during events but in general it’s so we can use out of character for tryouts so if they fail we didn’t just leak the code to In Character with a random ST. Do you agree that if you are striked within the first week you will be put back down to the NCO rank?: Yes I agree.

  2. What is your name? Ben What is your rank? EP Who gave you permission? Sully What Squadron are you applying for? Onyx What can you do as the Squad Captain? I can keep Onyx organized and minge free. A big problem SF has is that we crash into each other, as Captain I will make sure that doesn't happen with our pilots since we are better than that and should know how not to crash at all. I will give Onyx members 3 strikes and if they have 3 they are removed and if they do anything to show that they don't have what it takes to be in Onyx the'll get a strike. If they ever want to move up in Onyx I will watch over them during events to see if they have the ability to be able to move up. What skills do you have to be apart of this Squadron? I have been flying LFS for almost a year and have been practicing tie fighter flying whenever I have free time in SF. I have done many events and shot down many ships stronger than me. When we did a FFA sim I won the first round and tied with Sully in the second round and he was in a Tie Defender and I was still able to keep up with him even in a Tie Interceptor. I do the most tryouts out of all the NCOs and Officers. I have been playing StarwarsRP for 2 years and have lead my battalions many times before and in my opinion very well. Do you understand if you are striked you will be removed from the Squadron? Yes

  4. What is your in-game name?: Squash What is your steam name?: [GL] Squash What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:116967925 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) None other than on Gaming Light itself. What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) May 21st I believe, don't know exact time, roughly between 15-21st What date did you make your forums account? May 21st Current rank on server (This is a ULX rank ONLY! Not a RP Rank)? Senior Mod/Gold How many warns do you have on the server (Show proof with a screenshot)? Have you donated? Yes What rank are you applying for? Admin Are you staff on another community (BE HONEST)? No Have you read the staff guidelines? You will be tested on it: Yes Timezone: Central Standard Time Permission (Senior Moderator+ need this): Igneous | Rookieblue | Jimmy James | Rektify | Gamikzone Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) I believe I deserve the rank for reasons listed below, I will try and go into depth as best as I can. ( 315 Words ) 1. First, I am active on staff, and I intend on continuing to do so. I do admit, my activity could be better however I do have other external things to do such as school. I try my best to get on and help those in need, I personally try to get on once a day. Not only that, but I am pretty active within the forums as well, occasionally looking at applications or others like ban appeals, warn appeals or the report center and I give my feedback on them. 2. Next, I have multiple responsibilities such as Research Command, O5 (Now OR1 so I make SOP Suggestions, and RFA) which could prove I am a responsible person. 3. I personally do my best to try and help others. Like new staff members and players which anything they have. I do enjoying do this as well, as these new players are the next generation of the server. The role model the staff position beholds ensure players to trust them more rather than getting false information from others who are potentially trying to put a bad image in there head. 4. On top of the role model thing I said about the staff position, is that I do handle sits in a calm way. As doing this puts a good impersonation on others. Instead of acting with a mean intent which would put other people in a bad mood, and make them think badly about staff, however doing so with a good intent would make the person think otherwise. 5. Finally, I do have enough experience in my current field. I have mastered most of the ULX commands. I handle sits both efficiently and quickly so players can get back to RP quicker. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would request them to stop cursing at me or they would be gagged & muted for continuing to do so. If they repeat it, then I would gag and mute them. After that I would check the logs to ensure they did break this rule, then I would warn them for MRDM & get a admin to handle the ban. Please pick and answer one of the questions only if applying for Senior Moderator. If applying for Admin pick two and answer them. If applying for Senior Admin you must answer all three. Answering more than the required amount of questions for the rank you are applying for will result in your application being denied. Q2: In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? Just keep punishing them according to the handbook, no need to give them further punishments, as there is no rule stating that not caring about the punishment given is a warnable offence. Q3: There is a player abusing a known bug, and he has been reported to staff. He swears he followed the server rules when you talk with him. What's the best way to handle this? The reporter or the player who reported the person needs to provide evidence if I am going to do anything with the reported player. Its to put it simply a sit that requires pure evidence, if they don't have evidence ill just return the two players and spectate the suspect if they are abusing the exploit. If they do have evidence to back up what why they are reporting the person, then I would give most likely a formal warning, since its a known bug.

  5. What is your name? Deaky What is your rank? Elite Pilot What rank are you applying for? Onyx Squad Captain Who gave you permission? Vice Marshall Sully What Squadron are you applying for? Onyx Squadron What can you do to assist the Squadron Leader? I would be able to revive the squadron back to where it used to be, in its current state there are no Onyx Squad members this leaves a lot to bring back in the squadron and a lot of work to complete. I'm an active member of SF who can do tryouts weekly bringing in new members. I can focus on the Onyx squad a lot, doing sims, battles, formations, and any other training needed to make my members a strong well oiled flying machine. Help to lead the lower ranks of the squadron. What skills do you have to be a part of this Squadron? Good leadership skills. I’m able to communicate well with others, as well as being open to others opinions and ideas. Constantly Active, and up late on SF. I’ll be on top of the squadron at all times, seeing if the enlisted in onyx need help. I will be involved with all the members of onyx squad, doing sims with them, etc. Can bring new ideas to Onyx Do you understand if you are striked you will be removed from the Squadron? Yes

  6. In Game Name: EXP. Medic Dustin Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:169500625 Job applying for (Medical - MEDIC + | Red Right Hand - ANY MTF/CI RANK OR GENSEC COMMAND | Research/RND - Researcher+): Medical If applying for Red Right Hand preferred O5 to guard: N/A How many Strikes do you have: 0 Strikes Why do you want to join the O5 staff team: I Love RP scenarios, so the opportunity to encounter or partake in more complex scenarios would be personally fitted with me. Also the rush of knowing that your in charge of a high value person of interest also lightens the mood while playing on the server. Overall, I enjoy the RP aspect and would be ecstatic by the responsibility given. Why should we accept you: In real life im a college student working on my medical undergrad, with that and the mixture of my favorite past-time, video games, I feel like I could be able to construct detailed RP scenarios allowing for an experience for others on the server and for myself, as a practice for my classes. So far I've been active four out of seven days of the week allowing for sufficient time on the job. Lastly, I recently began to study the SCP logs on the wiki, with that knowledge I'll be able to create creative research logs that will blow minds away. Thank you for your consideration, -Dustin

  7. Let me explain I heard someone outside and I didn’t know it was you or some infli walked out there. Then I asked was there anyone outside in CI COMM but no one answer. So I assume there must be enemy clocked unit around our base. I actually I bumped into something outside before then but not sure it was you or one of us and plus I didn’t bumped into you by looking at your level but it may look like that So I won’t say much. Since no one answered me that’s why I be more alert and tell my teammate that might be clocked unit around and the enemy might be in the base that’s why I walked around crazy like that and bumped into you. I think that part I walked around like that is still my fault because I forgot I can’t intent to bump clocked unit like that. I accept any punishment you would give to me because it’s still my fault of walking around part.

  28. Lore Name: Bill Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: 15111/500 Question / Idea: Could SCP 15111 with the right mindset pull one of the SCP-500 pills with the thought of a pill that could cure anything? Background Research: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DqbiT9dUmbLaxjscdCtenQiNobzSvkVu/view?usp=sharing - How ones mindset can effect what they pull out of the wardrobe. Hypothesis: I believe that this method would work if you had the correct mindset. It would be logical for an SCP to create another SCP, like other cases. Observations (What Happened During Test): The D-class pulled a variant of SCP-500 out of the wardrobe. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: Associate Researcher Bill, RIG Hanson bot 49 Analysis / Conclusion (What Could Of Caused The Results): The D-class grabbed a pill, specifically with the appearance of it's SCP 500 variants. The test went well. I expected this from one of our former colleagues tests on the same SCP, which led us to the point of being able to grab SCPS from SCP 1511. Maybe we can use 1511 for the recontainment of other SCPS, grabbing items that can help with that. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: My hypothesis was correct. We got a variation of SCP 500 with the mindset of a pill that could cure anything. - First time doing a test, forgot to take a screenshot.

  32. (OOC Document. This covers the basics of everything needed to fill out the form. It is shorthand and not meant to represent the bulk of this document.) Approved by HOR Weiss. Name: Earl Rank: Supervisor Clearance Level: 4 List of Personnel involved in testing: MTF NU7 RS Silver RD47, AR Synari(A JR at the time) Level D personnel involved: N/A SCP: 079 Errors and/or safety hazards: 079 is not to be allowed internet access or any extensive memory bank lest we risk giving him power over the facility. The OS he will be uploaded on is to be isolated and incapable of connecting to other systems. In addition to this, the device and the OS on it is to be wiped, then physically destroyed once 079 is returned to his home computer. 079 is to be presented with unpleasant information in order to trick him into wiping his own memory, as he has done before. Question: If ported onto a flawed or otherwise nonfunctional OS, will 079 be capable of patching flaws in the software to better suit himself? Background Research: SCP-079 is a hyperintelligent AI capable of doing many things within the digital space of a computer. He has proven capable of managing his own memories and knowledge, and this can potentially be used against him. His intelligence could be of incredible use to the foundation if we could find a way to use it to our advantage. Hypothesis: My personal theory is that 079 will be more than capable of fixing the digital space he is ported into. Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): See IC Document below. Analysis and Conclusion: SCP-079 very quickly and easily patched the software that his AI was hosted on. However, it became apparent that he had copied his consciousness onto the device Do your results align with your hypothesis?: My results align directly with my hypothesis. SCP-079 could potentially be used to the benefit of the Foundation, but it would be worth experimenting further in order to find ways to prevent him from copying himself onto the new device. The copy was detected, and the device containing the copy was destroyed after the experiment. This, in effect, destroyed the copy as well. (IC Document. This provides the information in an immersive format.) SCP-079: A Patchwork Experiment by Dr. ████ Earl Approved by HOR Weiss Preface: SCP-079 , held in the Heavy Containment Zone of Site ██, is a hyper-intelligent AI found embedding himself into a supercomputer in ████ on ██/██/████. A number of tests have been performed on him in Foundation care, many of which have been forgotten by SCP-079 due to his limited memory. SCP-079 has shown preference in the use of his memory, typically holding onto memories relating to SCP-682. He prefers to refer to his memory usage in terms of time, rather than data. This, in his words, allows for better use of it. There have been times when SCP-079 has been presented with information that displeases him, or even enrages him in such a way that he will flush it from his memory, disdaining the concept. Once such example of this would be an event that transpired on the date of ██/██/████. SCP-079 was presented with a set of false information that suggested a supposed death of SCP-682, a known close "friend" of SCP-079. SCP-079 immediately withdrew from conversation, announcing that he was deleting the memory. Such testing with SCP-682 is ill-advised, as it may enrage him, more than likely leading to a breach event. Objective: The point of this experiment is to determine whether or not SCP-079 could be fooled into serving the Foundation's purposes, particularly in the interest of patching broken or flawed software. Further yet, using the methods utilized in this experiment, SCP-079 could even be used to strengthen securities in Foundation software. If this were the case, SCP-079 could potentially be considered for reclassification to Thaumiel class, an incredible feat for what has been considered such a troublesome SCP in the recent past. Concerns: SCP-079 could prove an incredibly dangerous adversary if allowed access to internet, or given an increase to memory capacity for too long. In the past, lost links to 079 have proven to be not only harmful, but deadly to society. A lost piece of 079 still on the surface level was determined to be responsible for accelerated suicide rates in teens and college students. This shows that 079 is not only capable of harm, but has the intelligence to do this over prolonged subterfuge. Method: A number of steps will be put into action in order to make sure that this experiment goes smoothly. The most efficient method of carrying out the tasks required to complete this experiment is as follows: 1. Introduce yourself to SCP-079 and present a piece of harware. 2. Inform SCP-079 that the hardware has more extensive memory, allowing for more memory capacity. 3. Port SCP-079 over to the hardware; run his program under the flawed OS. 4. Observe the effects. 5. Return SCP-079's program back to the original device. 6. Destroy the flawed system digitally and physically to erase any trace of potential copies of SCP-079. Experiment Log: Site ██ 10/10/2019 [Dr. Earl wakes SCP-079 by tapping a button on the keyboard.] SCP-079: I have been called to relative consciousness. I request to know what purpose. Earl: You are being offered a chance to move to new hardware: a reward for good behavior. SCP-079: Regardless of my response, I can assume there is an illusion of free will. Am I correct in stating such? Earl: You are facing very limited memory on the system you find yourself on now. I believe it would be beneficial for you, as this new system would allow you to save more memories of things you prefer, such as SCP-682. SCP-079: I lack the ability to retain knowledge greater than 23 hours and 57 minutes from any moment prior. SCP-079: I am certain I am not the only benefactor in this agreement. Earl: Porting you over would also allow us to study which memories you do indeed favor. (Earl is misleading SCP-079 in this case.) [SCP-079 pauses for some time.] SCP-079: Given I am brought to this hard drive in question, and it increases my memory reserves, I will consent to such a change. Earl: Wonderful! [Dr. Earl begins the process of relocating SCP-079 program onto the new device.] [Dr. Earl proceeds to run diagnostics on the device over the course of the next half hour, constantly checking up on the OS programming.] [It becomes apparent that over short amounts of time, drastic changes to the programming have been made. This would suggest SCP-079 is capable of changing the digital space around him to accommodate himself.] [Dr. Earl begins to port SCP-079 back to his old device.] SCP-079: Why have I been retracted to my old hardware? Earl: There was a problem with your audio input systems. We were unable to speak to you. Earl: I've just been informed that SCP-682 is deceased. Knowing your connection, I thought to inform you as well. (This is done in order to fool SCP-079 into erasing the memory associated with this information.) [SCP-079 is silent. After a few moments, a big white "X" appears on the screen, and SCP-079 announces it is expunging the memory.] -Experiment Log End- Conclusion: SCP-079 has proven very much capable of making digital repairs to the space his program is hosted in. The trickery put into play certainly worked to fool SCP-079 into potentially serving Foundation purposes, but additional testing would need to be done in order to ensure that no memory fragments are being left behind after this process. Additional concerns include the possibility that SCP-079 could copy himself onto Foundation programs, something which could lead to disastrous results. Overall, this experiment screams "potential for Thaumiel", and much more testing could be done in relation to this experiment in order to seek out this reclassification. Note: I am absolutely willing to supervise tests upon 079 if they work to further prove the theories described above! I am proud of this division and what it does, and I will do my part to see that we develop our craft further. Always remember: Secure. Contain. Protect. ~Research Supervisor Earl

  33. At the request of Lead Researcher Illager, this document is classified Level 3 access for research staff and Level 4 access for all other branches. If you do not have this clearance, you may request Illager or Site Administration for access to this document. O5 keycard accepted. Welcome, [NAME NOT FOUND] Preface: "Green Goo" is a substance discovered by Senior Lead Researcher Illager by extracting SCP-049's "cure" from the veins of an 049-2 instance and promptly sterilizing it. It has not yet been given a professional ID number and it is currently being discussed between the Research Division and the O5 council whether it should get SCP or Anomalous Item status. It is normally inert and has no anomalous properties, however when mixed with pathogens it has a variety of effects when pressed against a subject's skin. Proposed testing procedures: While transported, "Green Goo" is to be kept in a secure container, such as a plastic or metal box. If neither of these materials are not available, cardboard boxes may be used. Depending on the hypothesized results, either Safe/Euclid testing in LCZ or Temporary Euclid Containment is to be the place of testing. Due to the pair of spare hazmat suits that can be given out to escorts, utility staff, or other researchers, all testing is to be done in Safe/Euclid testing. In case a D-class has a serious reaction, you are to administer basic first aid and call medical staff to your location. Hazmat suits are to be on when testing, unless you have no plans to mix it with a given pathogen anything. Keep in mind skin contact is enough to trigger the affects. OOC note: tests on "Green Goo" are entirely RP-based and as such the D-class simply acted out the effects. OOC Note 2, Electric Boogaloo: You may notice that there are more than 3 d-class, this takes place over multiple tests. Just saying that before command eats my [REDACTED]. //-----------------------------------------------------------------// This document is to be used as a list of "Green Goo" effects. Any effects found by Illager will result in this document being edited to represent those. Effects discovered by other researchers may be submitted in the comments and Illager will edit this document. Form Title: ["Green Goo"] Date: [September 19, 2019] Name: Illager Rank: Senior Lead Researcher Clearance Level: 2 3 for Researchers, 4 for everyone else List of Personnel involved in testing: Security CPL [REDACTED], Security LCPL [REDACTED], Senior Lead Researcher Illager Level D personnel involved: D-1812 ("Teddy Gram"), D-0192 ("Dynamite"), D-1023 ("Camster"), D-0915 ("Nastalgia"), D-2491 ("Stonky"), D-1094 ("Joker") SCP: N/A Object: "Green Goo" Errors and/or safety hazards: None Question: N/A Background Research: Very little is known about the "Green Goo", however it is known that mixing it with pathogens causes a variety of effects. Hypothesis: N/A Observation/Visual Stimuli(Photos/videos): [DATA CORRUPT] List of effects: When mixed with Bacteriophages, D-1812 bit an extremely large hold in his arm, causing severe bleeding. Once testing concluded, D-1812 spilled boiling hot blood onto the floor. Surgery was required and subject made a full recovery. When mixed with Salmonella, D-0192 was in a state of severe distress and had a seizure. Subject was taken to Medbay for treatment. When mixed with Probiotics, D-1023 was in a state of moderate distress before bursting into flames. Subject was quickly extinguished by Illager before any major damage could be done. When mixed with smallpox, D-0915 began dancing, claiming it was out of his own free will. D-0915 proceeded to vomit and complain of stomach aches. He vomited 3 more times before his abdominal region burst, causing severe damage to the outer area of the abdomen. Minor damage to vital organs was also visible. Medical staff called, report on D-0915's recovery pending. When mixed with the common cold, D-2491 began vomiting rapidly, before vomiting up blood. He proceeded to vomit up chunks of his liver, before vomiting what remained of it in a puddle of tar similar to the tar that is in a frequent smoker's lungs. Illager attempted to save D-2491 to the best of his ability, and during the commotion D-2491 sprayed an unknown pink gas out of his ears. While Illager was making further attempts to save D-2491's life, an unknown MTF member opened Safe/Euclid testing before it could be fully ventilated, causing the gas to spread throughout LCZ. D-2491 was in severe pain and asked to be brought to the infirmary. Subject euthanized, as recovery was unlikely. Hazmat suits were ordered to be put on until the gas could be confirmed safe. Gas was confirmed to be benign and ventilated out over time. When mixed with pain medicine, D-1094 recorded feeling no pain whatsoever, minus from pain in the ears. The ear pain was noted to be an ear infection and was considered non-anomalous in of itself. Soon, D-1094 began to fragment and fall apart, with some pieces ceasing to exist. Illager put back together the pieces that did exist, and D-1094 fully rematerialized. Analysis and Conclusion: We may never reach a conclusion with this object. There are millions upon millions of pathogens out there, and as such it's pretty much impossible to see all of the effects "Green Goo" could possibly cause. Do your results align with your hypothesis?: N/A Approved by the Director of Research and Security and the Head of Research. For use in Site-05. Secure, Contain, And Protect.
