  1. Checking SCP 966's chamber and them not being there is a valid RP reason though. Additionally, it makes RP sense that if one group of MTF discovers something that would make thermals a valid option, all other MTF personnel would then also use them. They have radios and such.
  2. Oops, I misread the number, excuse me on that!
  3. It is already a rule in the MOTD that there must be a valid RP reason for thermals to be called.
  4. + Support Castro is extremely active and dedicated to our server. From the situations that I've run into him doing staff duty he is nothing but professional and fair in his decision making. Additionally, he has a large amount of experience that allows him to handle almost any situation that he's presented with, and has helped mentor some of the newer staff members that have joined the team. I believe that Castros would be an extremely valuable member of the Senior Admin team, and wholely support his advancement to Senior Admin.
  5. Awkward moment when I misread the SCP being buffed.
  6. + Support. Should be included under Foundation specific rules.
  7. The chess sets in D-Block are currently not visible, though still work properly.
  8. According to the log he was banned this morning at 3:09am, no prior warning history.
  9. + Support I think the changes are reasonable for A1, nothing to overpowered from what I can see.
  10. Hello Twisted Captain! I understand that you're frustrated, but what kind of system would you like to see implemented? Generally, if you make a suggestion about something wrong on the server, it's expected to offer up something to replace it!
  11. I've been playing on the server for almost the same amount of time! It seems like time has flown by. A lot of fun and good memories have been made here!
  12. You're looking to make a post here @shanedc911
  13. As the people above said, 049 can die from bullet wounds, the same as a regular person. So he's not gonna do anything that'll get himself killed.
  14. But those aren't spawn points. The D-Class cells and GENSEC bunks are the spawn points.
  15. But what if you toast the bread? The bread would then be warm, and the contents could then be warm as well.
  16. It wouldn't be that difficult for staff to keep track of. Just set a timer for whatever SCP is active, and most times the server is really active there are multiple staff online too.
  17. We had both of them on our server for a time, I'm not sure why it was initially removed though.
  18. We could extend the "SCP Free Zone" so to speak to include the hallway that leads into D-Block. That would likely solve that problem fairly well as it'll prevent SCPs from being able to affect GENSEC holding D-Block, and would prevent a lot of potential mingery there.
  19. SteamID should be: STEAM_0:1:36467260 The one warning doesn't give me much pause and was 15 days old, so I'm not concerned with any sort of behavioral pattern. Your relative inactivity on the forums is a sticking point, but since your account is less than a week old, that's not too surprising. Generally, we like to see a minimum of 25 posts on a forum account to show that the candidate is invested in interacting with the community. I'd recommend providing your input in the suggestions or putting forth your own suggestions, interacting with people in the other portions of the forums, and generally, get more involved. Regarding question 15 you explain that you dislike seeing people breaking rules, but you don't really explain how you being added to the staffing team would benefit the server. What are some of your attributes that would be helpful? Regarding question 16 you talk about some things that you would do that would be helpful, such as checking logs for evidence, gagging the person (though you use the term "mute" which only stops them from using text chat"), and checking their discipline history (very impressed you checked this, by the way, very few people think to check for these and having this information can absolutely change how you handle a situation, so well done there!). However, if I understand correctly, you plan on only issuing them a verbal warning for their conduct. While you would have a significant amount of discretion as a staff member, I do not think a simple verbal warning would be appropriate in this situation. All in all, I have to give a - Support in this instance. For your next application try fixing up some of the things that I touched on above, and I think you'll then be a lot more successful!
  20. Okay, now that you have perms that part was taken care of. As for the rest of your app, question 15 seems to be a 151-word run-on sentence, which makes your application seem rushed. Additionally, outside of stating your high activity, you don't really explain why you would be a good choice for promotion to Senior Moderator. Finally, I haven't really seen you staffing much, and as such, I don't really have a sense of your staffing ability, which may have allowed me to overlook a more lackluster application. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to - Support this application. I wish you better luck with your next application!
  21. If this is still an ongoing issue with you, I don't think your restriction should be removed. - Support
  22. + Support As I stated in the other suggestion, with the introduction of RCF regular GENSEC personnel no longer need access to tranqs.
  23. While self breaching caused on number of issues previously, I don't think that should hold us back from moving forward. With a more experienced staff team, coupled with concrete and documented rules for how self breaching should occur, we'll be able to tailor breaches to the status of the server and quickly handle any issues that pop up. Additionally, with the expansion and increased RP function that the Utility Branch now provides, this function will significantly increase cross branch interactions. Additionally, allowing self breaching will significantly increase the playability of SCPs that would otherwise be sitting and chilling in their cells all day until a random researcher comes to do a test or a D-Class breaks all the way to them to let them out.
  24. + Support, the evidence is clear
