Well lads, I know this maybe hard for all the mates whom I have known since I first joined maintenance mates, so here's what I got to say I am gonna have to resign from my place due to inactivity because of work. Due to my new job I had to get and just constantly working and barely having enough time to be around with working all night (2200 CST till 0600 CST) I can't even hop on the server, so I will try again in the future once things has settled down, I will return. I WILL PROMISE THAT! But till then lads, Its been a pleasure being apart of the crew. Sparkles, you truly were an excellent leader for maintenance ever since I first entered maintenance. all the mates here are truly the best out of everyone else Jack, you as well are an excellent guy to be around, as my favorite lad to vibe with Aussie, Getting nuked must be your new hobby keep at it mate Loaf, Gatta love everything about you from the beginning Bulborb, A guy who can rely sticking to when stuff just gets out of hand, even going around as MMF, hes the right guy to be with Dumptruck, A vibe lad just to stick around like everyone else Styx, Things happens but hey what can we do from getting bored? my mates just love being in view ShinSpin, a lad to just be a good friend and a true ally (You'd better make it to command mate, you better god damn do it!) Due to unforeseen circumstances I will be resigning from my position of High Command. I will not go into further context but this is the best solution for not only my own mental health, But also the server, On-top of that I got college next week so like... yuh. SMT - Thank you for everything, Literally, You guys are the reason the server exists to which I will always be grateful about. SHC - Thank you WiN for dealing with me for the past few months & even allowing me in the position of High Command, It's been rough but it has been a pleasure to work with you. Even Tho this may come up to people as a Surprise i have being in SF for quite a while, I remember my self as a normal cadet trained by my friend brand and me still getting 2 strikes and he letting me go off with like a pat on the back, Do i love SF with my heart, and in this community i love you guys like everything and i will continue playing for this server, just in another way, SMT i love you guys, EVEN THO YOU KILLED ME ALL THE TIME. I honestly have had the best time of my life playing with you guys and to this day i consider SF and also gaming light as a whole my family, I WILL CONTINUE PLAYING, this does not mean the end for SIMPGINI but, i wanna have a better person in my spot SMT- I love you guys, even tho we have not talked to this day i love you guys, you make this community what it is and honestly i wanna see you guys grow to eventually even become Managers each on of you.   8. It could be a bias report because he may hold a grudge towards CI for placing him on a DNT. We don't know what islandtoads is thinking, but thinking of how petty this report is, this could be the case. As for the report itself, it does not make sense for an infiltrator to just stare at E4s like you're following or spectating as an infiltrator, let alone a staff member. Call me a hypocrite if you want since I usually just b-hop around town when I do get on the server occasionally, but if I can at least I make the effort to communicate to them that I am just f**king about, I think you can too.

  11. What are you suggesting? The level display above players' heads should be hidden from view. I'm not sure why this would be a huge detriment; it would still be visible via the tab menu and I'm not sure in what specific cases this information should be readily accessible. How would this change better the server? Excuses for metagaming by seeing level tags from afar would be much more difficult to justify. I mention level tags specifically because they are the only things that players can see for a decent distance aside from the character form. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. No. Who would this change mostly benefit? Cloaking classes. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion.

I cant recall how long specifically however. I am also apart of the Event Team although I just noticed I do not have the forum rank. What date did you start playing on the community? (User, Silver, Gold, etc): User Are you a staff member in another community? No Have you read the staff handbook? Yes Timezone: AEST Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) (I promise it will be short this time.) I firmly believe I deserve the rank of trial moderator simply because of what I can bring to the staffing team on SCPRP. Personality With my friendly, outgoing, and eccentric personality, I would be a unique fit in the staffing team as a trial moderator approaching staffing situations as both a staff member and a player of the community maintaining balance between it. Despite my friendly manner, I am capable of switching to a more serious manner when required in more serious situations. When it comes to staffing on the server, I believe my personality will significantly assist me in handling both average sits and those that may spiral into arguments by the two parties. A staff member is the 3rd party in most commonly a dispute between the two or more parties, and thus the staff member needs to maintain a line of professionalism to carry out their duty effectively, and I believe I deserve the rank of moderator as I can carry this out., Capability. When it comes to staffing in the community, one expects the staff member to be holding themselves higher than an average player in the community in both knowledge and understanding. Both of which I believe I have thoroughly nailed down through both experience and practice. I have had a small dose of experience in staffing through my developing time in the Event Team and my previous experience in staffing the community last year at a similar rank. I abide by the idea that I deserve the rank of trial moderator as I have belief in my capabilities to perform my role efficiently, maintaining an impartial and empathetic perspective in staffing if I was to be accepted. Equipped with the dedication not to lack my responsibilities and to accept all sits regardless of the reasoning, I strongly believe I would be effective as a trial moderator if I was to be accepted. Given my timezone, it's not common to see sits begin to stack up unattended on my screen because of a lack of staff at the time, and I believe I can manage and deal with this problem. Scenario questions: Q1: How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? = After bringing the individual to the staff sit I will calmly attempt to resolve the situation. If they do nothing but curse at me I would warn that their continued actions may result in a temporary mute/gag. If they stop I would explain the severity of their actions and ask for their motivation towards doing it. While they are explaining I would go over relevant logs and afterwards, I would contact either a Moderator or Admin (most likely Admin) to hand out the required punishment since I do not have the ability to do so on my own. Q2: You are involved in a staff sit that involves 5 different players. The players begin to get frustrated and the sit becomes very toxic and unproductive. What would you do in this situation? = I would ask everyone to stop speaking firstly. If people continue to speak I would warn of a potential temporary mute/gag. Once the players stop speaking I would ask each player to speak individually of their side and begin joint discussions of the individuals whos story relates to each other. If the sit continues to become toxic or unproductive and unmanageable by myself I would ask assistance from a Moderator or higher if none were available.

  14. +/- Some things here are fair but some I dislike/disagree. One, the Alpha opps weapon is already good as it is, it's a starting class it shouldn't really need a crazy strong weapon like the m416. Deadshot rewards skilled game play and positioning, with the speed buff this sounds like a crutch for people who are not the best with aim play and positioning. The new E4 class seems to be there for taking Bios healing ability and R&Ds utilisation ability. Seems especially unneeded since E4 spawning with a medkit. Everything else here is fine as it's all needed with the state of the meta. One more thing, while it may look biased on my side, don't forgot I played a lot of CI so take it with a grain of salt.

  34. +/-SUPPORT The biggest positive I can see for this suggestion is the perceived community input that goes into the staff selection process when it's done via the forums. I say perceived because if the higher-ups don't want somebody as staff, they sure as hell won't choose them, regardless of all the support in the world. Either way, I can definitely see why the community would be happier with saying their piece to staff team hopefuls. On the other hand, we're cherry picking. I guarantee there have been awful staff members who have applied via the forum and competent staff who applied via the interview process, it's just that the awful ones stand out more. Plus, while I'm all for the community having a say in many matters, staff team selection is one of those things that may just be better left to management. I like the current balance where interviews seem to be only open sometimes.
