My past experiences and completion of real-life law enforcement training courses (police explorers) that I have a better understanding than ever of what is expected of an officer. I have expected, and unexpected knowledge of fundamental traffic laws and employee/volunteer management. During my time of being a Staff Member, I've just about seen all of what is expected of command, the fulfillment of their duties, and the management of other officers/proper punishing for a given offense. I My main goals in this department include: Supervising lower-ranking officers but most importantly, educating them. Uphold the standards of the Police Officer Guide. Uphold professionalism and intent to roleplay within all officers. Properly & civilly handle punishments. Be someone to go-to if any officers have general questions. Firmly enforcing traffic rules & encouraging other officers to do the same. Out of my activity, my knowledge of employee management and command duties I believe I am ready for the responsibilities of a Police Lieutenant. You need to be active and seen being a good role model on PD when applying for command -Your application could use some more work and effort *Generally I would say take some time and if you truly feel like you want to join command, start putting effort and work into PD.
