- Support whenever a person decides to join a bunch of departments they also take a responsibility upon themselves to make sure they are active in those departments. Limiting people on how many departments they join will not only cause departments to have player shortages but also cause people to lose interest in the server, since they only get to play as 1 or 2 jobs which gets super repetitive. Therefore, having the option to switch to another job when one gets boring is what keeps players on the server and having fun.

Sadly my time has come to resign. It’s been quite an awesome ride being in ems. Due to irl circumstances I just don’t have the time to upkeep my activity and therefor it isn’t fair for me to take a captain spot if I don’t do my job. Had a lot of great memories over the course of the year and met a ton of great people. Hope to see y’all around. Thank for having me.

I agree that this needs to be written clearly on the motd whether it’s a rule or not. However, if we are talking about whether this should be a rule or not I -Support. Criminals would just abuse this and jump in the water during a chase and once that happens and you cannot tase them, they will just simply swim around in circles and there’s nothing gov can do.

+Support Since it’s only a discord server that you are banned from, and it was a year ago, I feel maybe you deserve another chance. Considering you seem like you matured and started caring about being a good member of this community by admitting that you were wrong in the past and also become staff. +Support -Will prevent ransoms from running into a minging in tac bases -If we compare this to real life and people being allowed to go into military bases, in real life they usually go through a metal detector to make sure they aren’t armed. But here a crim that is in the lobby will almost always be armed

-Support +From past experience in trying to do this, it will either end up with the crim pulling out a gun and starting a shootout or they will stall until their friends arrive and cause a shoot out +The wanted people usually have a wanted sign for a reason like shooting gov so they will not just comply with the RP and go to jail, they will do anything in their power to escape

+Major support -not all members of Pd want to or have fun being involved in criminal activity. Therefore, I believe they should get a pay increase because unless they do get off the job and do some crim work, they will barley make enough to buy the cheapest car in the dealer

-Support will turn rp into a call fo duty match. 95% of the time this will end up with the tow truck driving getting murdered and will result is this job being useless and not fun. Will also discourage people from buying this job.

+Support -FBI are a huge help in fighting crime but when they have a meeting PD and TAC can handle the major crimes. I don’t see the need to really stop major crime just for this meeting.

+\- Support +would be a realistic role play aspect - Would overwhelm ems resources and delay response times even more, when there are actual downed people. Since this situation will be fully rp it will take longer to deal with then the average revive

I have been through a fair share of events and situations during my time as a captain. One of which becoming a meme on a mingy youtubers video. To clarify, no I don’t laugh. On a serious note, I have learned a great deal while being a captain. I have interacted with a ton of new and old members of PD and had many pleasant interactions with citizens of Rockford. I partook in planning and idea making to help better PD. I still trained cadets and made sure that every officer that was working in Rockford was doing their job correctly. I supervised trainings, conducted them, trained many new sergeants so that they could adapt to their new role as an entry level supervisor, gave new officers ride alongs, took and corrected complaints from citizens and other members of law enforcement, and much more. I maintained a professional and mature demeanor during my entire time as a member of pd and command. I tried to make sure I did not have any negative interactions with any member of this community. I hope to continue improving and working towards not only making sure pd stays great, but also giving ideas and assisting with my best ability in improving pd. I will continue to show maturity and respect while representing PD and low command. I will continue to train new supervisors, retrain current supervisors if needed, ensure training is done properly, enforce the law, enforce the rules of pd, and train cadets. I will also continue to dedicate my time and effort to be the best member of PD that I could possibly be and hope to continue to show why PD is such a great department to be a part of. As being the only tac unit, in your initial suggestion you wrote “Tac units work it teams of 5 to 10. So you would never be able to find a lone tac member.” So, if they are alone because no one is on then that is just an unfortunate situation and then they should have waited for more tac to be on then for there to be an actual team. Also, in the tac training they say to always have a gun out, this makes it so tac is always ready to fight or defend themselves. I think that it can’t be fear-rp since the tac member already has a gun out and safety will not change anything. Its a lot different when your gun is holstered and you are at gun point verses when the gun is in your hand and ready to fire within a second. I do see the point in your suggestion but it would not really be rp if a tac member couldn’t be kidnapped simply because it’s a new rule. I believe if a criminal sees an opportunity to kidnap the tac member, they should be well within their right to do so and the tac member should always be ready for a situation like that to happen and use his training and awareness to minimize the likely hood of such a thing happening. The way the current rule is makes it fair game for everyone.

-Support In a situation like this it’s hard to get it reversed without some form of evidence. Staff are there to enforce the rules and therefore they kind of have the word of say when it comes to whether you broke a rule or not, unless evidence says otherwise.

-Support Everyone is aware of this rule, it is really for the benefit of the RP otherwise crim can just keep reviving themselves and killing the gov with their Negev and it would kill the fun. As mentioned, this is more of a false warm report, If you want to mention the point of it not being written clearly somewhere. But the staff member themselves did not actually do anything wrong to deserve a punishment as they simply did their job and enforced a rules that has been there for years.

-Support The way I see it, If the tac person has a gun out at all times and remains in his group of teammates, then there should be no issue with getting kidnapped. However, if a tac member puts himself into a position where they are alone somewhere and dont have a gun out, then that is just a personal issue. The tac member should be smart and trained enough not to make him so vulnerable. Therefor, being able to be kidnapped at a time like that is perfectly logical. Also, if the tac member has a gun out I dont think fearRP applies because the gun is ready to go so if someone was to run up the tac member could easily engage in a gun battle.
