  1. What you want to see? - I, with the assistance of Security Captain/MTF Corporal Boris, have rewritten the rules and SCP portions of the MOTD to better clarify rules, have a documented recontainment procedure for each SCP that is easily accessible and understandable, including rules for each SCP to ensure newer players understand how the play each SCP, removed rules that are no longer correct on the server, and reorganized the rules in a way that is significantly easier to find rules that apply to everyone on the server, or to specific classes. Why should we add it? - This would significantly help newer players to the server, as they will now know how specific SCPs are played, the specific rules each SCP must follow when they're being played, veteran players will be able to more easily look up rules that apply to their specific classes without needing to search through a block of text, and having specific containment procedures in place will ensure that MTF, GENSEC and SCPs are able to play with the same rulebook, removing the, "well I play it this way" "no I heard it's this way" arguments that happen on occasion. What are the advantages of having this? - See above. Who is it mainly for? - All players Links to any content - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uHRj6xCkueJ0lYdrzIKPWgr49Cc-WHfv/view?usp=sharing - I have included the MOTD revision in a Google Doc, as that is the easiest way to keep the correct format. If you have specific issues with one or more parts of the proposed MOTD, please post your concerns so they may be addressed. I don't proclaim to be perfect, so there may a mistake here or there that needs to be corrected!
  2. - Support As long as there were no pending staff calls and 5 other admins on duty, you can do whatever you want on staff as long as it doesn't affect RP. A staff member playing chess with another player if anything builds relationships between players and staff.
  3. Atlas sent me his reply via message, "i didn;t know how to make an appeal for warns back then"
  4. Atlas sent me his reply via message, "i didn;t know how to make an appeal for warns back then"
  5. Atlas send me a PM with his reply: "he was bunny hopping around and i think it is not allowed on here say if im wrong but he made me fail rp because he made it look like i grabbed the cloaked ci"
  6. Why are you appealing this now compared to when it actually happened?
  7. How did the CI person "make you" take the CI that was cloaked? Why are you not naming people for "safety"?
  8. Why are you appealing this now compared to when it actually happened?
  9. Your In-game: GL Rookieblue Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:42428330 The player's name in-game: SCP 9 9 9 The player's steam name (If you know it): 76561198151476336 / STEAM_0:0:95605304 What did the player do: After receiving a warning and a minge for RDMing as SCP 999, and continuous minging, SCP 9 9 9 exited the server, relogged in, and spamed the N word in the admin call chat. The resulted in a further warning, and a 3 week ban being issued for his conduct. Based on his extensive history of warnings and bans MilitaryRP and PoliceRP, it is clear he now intends to do further his misbehavior on our server. I request that the ban be extended to a permanent one to proactively stop this player from causing further issues on our server. Evidence (REQUIRED): https://gaminglight.com/bans/player/76561198151476336 - See history of warnings, minges, and bans on his account. For this most recent conduct, myself, Nemesus and Boris can confirm the spam in admin chat. What do you believe should happen to the player: Ban extended to permanent. Any extra information: N/A
  10. A few recent suggestions were approved regarding 457 for increasing its health or making it immune to its SWEP. If they those buffs haven't already been implemented, I believe they're being worked on.
  11. I think the only way to rectify that would be to add NVGs to player spawn inventories? I'll be honest, I'm not 100% on that. However, if that's the case I'd support MTF and NTF having NVGs added to their spawn loadout since they use them so often.
  12. Well, realistically an unsecured door would be cause for concern at the Foundation, regardless of if it meant a possible CI raid.
  13. + Support for this E11 in lore isn't allowed to be in the facility unless specific DEFCON parameters are met. In that vein, RP wise they wouldn't be in the area to spot CI if they are attempting to raid. I'd support having E11 personnel essentially not involved in the RP situations until they advert they are entering the facility.
  14. - Support This would essentially result in a depletion of D-Block as people begin to escape here and there and would result in negative RP experiences for other branches.
  15. Anyone that's earned a ban from the server isn't an acceptable staff member in my general opinion.
  16. As far as I'm aware, even the threat of a chargeback is usually enough for a permanent ban. However, th3 and the rest of the senior management team will have to make a ruling on this.
  17. They were removed? + Support for bringing them back if that's the case.
  18. Since I've started playing on this server the rule has been in the MOTD that you can't ransom people. Anyway, money isn't important on this server for the most part, so I guess this could be another way it could be useful? But I feel like MTF/NTF would rather just execute the potential security risk than pay a ransom. +/- Support from me
  19. - Support for the lockdown specialist for the reasons Rang stated. We just got this back and I don't want this taken away. + Support for site-wide cameras. I believe there's some functionality that MTF or NTF advert that they're "checking cameras" to look for breaches, but it isn't very often used. Having this type of system would be extremely lore friendly, and give additional opportunities for event team usage. + Support for the undercover CI. I'd like to see some sort of system put in place that would require GENSEC to more closely check on staff to verify their identities or something like that for the undercover thing. There shouldn't be too many of these jobs allowed on at a time, otherwise, it might cause some larger server issues. - Support for blackout specialist, CI already attempt to do that as one of their main duties. + Support NLR timer + Support for the SCP-1162 sign - Support for the assault rifles being added to crafting. From a lore perspective, this likely wouldn't happen, and it would increase the already hard to deal with riots. GENSEC need to have an advantage over D-Class weaponwise due to D-Class' numbers advantage.
  20. Though for someone throwing that around so casually, I'd support a stronger punishment than a mere warning.
