This video is cut short for obvious purposes, for making it look worse. This is one side of a story. From seeing both sides, It's clear that the reason for killing you was justified. Firstly, there was an active training being performed by this individual, which you were interrupting. Regardless of rank, you were stood watching and then decided to kill Dark (which OOC Dark was helping with training, cleared by a current on-duty Captain) Also after being informed that Dark was helping and you still decided to kill him and interrupt training, which could have punishments in our own ranks. You shouldn't be acting unprofessional, especially when there is multiple new officers being trained. Secondly, you were laughing in the clip, clearly not bothered when killing Dark, and even not bothered when you were killed. It seems more petty that you reported this after finding the clip funny. She shouldn't of killed you but you interrupted training, then when asked in OOC, you refused to revive him. (Just to be clear, SOP does not need to be followed when OOC) meaning there is no real reason for a formal warning in this situation. Make sure in future, further reports are treated properly and these are looked on a serious level. I will be forgetting the fact that you were being immature in the meeting room and then cutting a long clip to make it seem like you were in the right when infact, you were not. Acting how you were, in the video shown, makes me think you shouldn't be the rank you are. @Max Holland Please review and make final decision

Hey all, cata here, I wanted to make a short little essay on some ways to improve your d class abilities and make use of the resources given to you. (if you want to make additions in the comments/replies, please do, it will likely help everyone) D class is often seen on both spectrums, being both the first class you start on the server as, and what many GL veterans go to so they can refine their combat skills, or just RDM a bunch of non combatants. In most cases, you can simply play D class for fun, but it also comes with a couple of benefits, some which require some practice or principal to fully utilize. With the many drawbacks that D class has, there are many benefits, such as mining on surface, getting XP for escaping, and overall learning necessary survival skills for any branch you may lie in. So without further ado, Let's get started with some of the basics. Classes The D class “revolution” has many different jobs to play as, some being simple level requirements and 2 jobs that come with donor ranks. If you wish to get better D class jobs, AFKing overnight is the best way to earn XP to get them. All classes have unique abilities or equipment to help the cause, and sometimes help yourself. In all honesty, the donator d class jobs are the best out of the bunch, but i know that a lot of people don't necessarily have the money to get kitted out, so trying to get higher levels is the best way to improve your chances Donator Weapons and Classes (If anybody has some insight on perma pistols, please add them, i've never bought any so i logically cannot say anything about them) This is not to be expected, but if you were to theoretically be “fully kitted” for d class these are some good donator items that can achieve that: Any CSGO Knife Diamond (Gives Pro D class) Bronze (Gives D class expert) Any throwable (Shank, Trench Knife, ETC) These tools are your bread and butter for riots. Of course I don't entice you to spend money just to be a little stronger as a D Class, I am just stating that if you DO have these, they are a big benefit to specifically D class. Riots And Teamwork The defenders are many and they are well armed, but we do have a big advantage: our numbers. Not only do we have a pretty big population, but (unless you are a CC) D class have No NLR and therefore can riot continuously, given that you have the tools to fight. Use this to your advantage, the only way to truly overpower gensec and MTF is constant assault, and that needs to start with teamwork. The golden rule if you want to overrun d block, is if one person riots, you need to riot as well. Most armed classes (what i like to call footsoldiers) will lead the charge and rush forward, and the best way to succeed is to follow in their footsteps and riot along with them. Even if you are a single unarmed D class armed with only your fists, you as an individual make a huge difference, even if that difference is just being a bullet sponge. Remember, no matter how little the damage is done, every bullet fired and every punch thrown puts a dent in their defenses, so only relentless pursuit will lead the charge and make them unstable. Using Your Movement. In GL, there's no better way to refine your movement than playing D class. As mentioned before, we may be ill armed, however CSGO knives are fuckign goated and only help to complement your movement. What you essentially need to do is you need to sweat, yes, thats right, bring out your inner apex legends and crouch jump spam literally fucking everywhere. What's unlucky for gensec is that dblock is literally built for bouncing off of obstacles and bullet dodging, which is only benefited by the burst damage csgo knife that many people use. It all comes down to practice. Even if you lack the firepower simply being an active moving target can be a huge threat to the defenders, so even if you die constantly, keeping that movement up only helps delay others from dying and helping the cause. (well, that's it for now) (I will likely edit and write more but i’m too lazy so if anyone would like to add on feel free)

- Support As Eternity explained I was helping with training and we had it cleared with the PD CPT on duty as to be able to show the new OFCs how to cuff and properly use a taser. I do agree that she maybe shouldn't of killed you but this was also the third time I was killed and myself, Amethyst, and the CPT said while you where in the room previously not to kill me as I was helping with training. In my opinion the talk with PD command she got after the situation took place was a good enough punishment and I was to take a sit about a similar situation I would not of warned them and just given them a verbal and explain alternatives to them as well as why this can be annoying. The clip is also cut very, very short as to not give any context of the situation. In my opinion this is quite a petty report.

It's as if the last few years has been building up to this exact moment. Here, in the cold room of my apartment, i look at my keyboard and reflect on everything that has happened. My name is Robert Peterson. I am a 26 year old software developer from the United States of America. For the past two years i have led a double life. A life as a Researcher at a Facility dedicated to the containment of hostile monsters and entities. I studied those monsters and developed bonds with my fellow Researchers. I have climbed the ranks of Research to the very top. Looking back on all i have accomplished, it's hard to describe the feelings that flow. I first joined GamingLight SCP-RP in the summer of 2019. My main goal at the time was to interact with the SCP's on site and to play with them. I learned really fast that it wasn't as simple as i assumed it to be. Strict rules were in place and i had to follow them. I joined research in September of 2019. I was AWFUL for the first few months. I had no desire to follow any sort of rules or listen or even try to learn from Command. I was a loose cannon, a minge, a plague on the site. I would constantly try my hardest to annoy anyone and everyone who got in my way. When Protege got Lead researcher, i dragged him from meeting room down to 682's CC and threw him in. This was the first huge mistake on my end. I was scolded and reprimanded and nearly removed from the branch. I was demoted from Lead to Senior and I thought I had completely fucked my chances of ever getting command. Very soon after that i got PK'd and had to change my name to Tomato. That was strike two. I was basically on the door out. Command applications came and went, and i was denied again and again. I began to wonder if i was just wasting my time. Maybe i should just quit. No one on the server likes me. I don't have the talent or skills to be command. What is the point. I should just leave... And then i got command. Suddenly, I had responsibilities. Mass tests, trainings, gradings. I was scared, but through some force beyond my comprehension, I made it through. Not only that, but I began to build relationships with the people in command and enlisted. I wasn't just another face on the wall at meetings, i was a face that held some sort of respect in the community. Now granted i had a long way to go to get high command but through the summer of 2020 i was producing the best documents of my life and cranking out mass test after mass test like there was no tomorrow. The spark was at an all time high and I was for sure I was cruising towards high command. And it didn't fucking happen. I was beyond upset. So upset that i quit out of frustration. I was angry at Glados for getting AHOR at the time. I was angry at Weiss and Starstep and SMT and JMT and Admins and everyone. I quit, i had enough. No more getting fucked over. I'm out Goodbye... And wouldn't you know it, it broke my fucking heart to leave. Reading all the messages in my retirement post absolutely shattered my heart into pieces. The love i felt from strangers i have never met in real life was nothing short of magical. It was like nothing i have ever felt before. So i came back, and worked my way back up the ranks until August 8th, 2021 where i received the title of DHOR. That and landing my current job are some of the proudest days of my life. I walked, head held high, knowing i had done it. I had reached my goal on the server. And the spark died. I have done it all on this server. Every test, every conversation, every document. I ran out of ideas 6 months ago and have been burnt out for over a year at this point. I took an LOA last week for a few days and when it came time to get back on the server Sunday i realized............ I didn't want to get on the server. The spark i had is gone. The inspiration i had is gone. I haven't written a document in months. I have barley done any command logs in months. It's time for me to hang up the lab coat and step away. When i was a child i didn't have any friends. I was socially awkward and was dealing with un-diagnosed mental issues at the time (OCD, Autism). High school came and went and i managed to even make a few friends and get a girlfriend. College came and after 3 years i Proposed to my Girlfriend. Going into summer of 2016 i had it all. Then i found out she had cheated on me and left me. Then all my friends stopped talking to me. Then the next girl i tried dating was killed overseas attempting to provide aid to the people of Syria. My depression had reached an all time low at this point. So much so that one night i was sitting in my room.... Crying with a bottle of pills in my hand as i told my mom over the phone goodbye...... Thankfully, i didn't take them (Love you Mom!) and attempted to move on. But depression is an ugly beast. It rips and tears at you until you have nothing left and it gnaws at the bones of your soul and beats you down every day. From late 2016 to mid 2019 i barley spoke to anyone other than family. Then, by chance, i decided to buy Gmod and play some servers. I discovered SCP-RP and... ... I had people to talk to. People who listened. People i could joke with. People i could play games with. People who cared that were not my mom or dad or family. Hundreds of people i could talk to. It was all i every wanted. It was all i ever needed. I was happy. For the first time in years i was truly happy. I'm still truley happy. Im happy. At 12:20 AM CST On October 13th, 2021.....Im Happy. As is tradition, i want to mention people who i have been friends with or interacted with that have made an impact on me. These are in no order and i will be adding to this list over the next week. Glados-You have no clue how much your friendship means to me. Seeing you online is like a welcome beacon that means fun will be had. You are thoughtful and caring and such a wonderful human being. D - One of my closest friends on the server. One of the nicest human beings i have ever met. Your genuineness and thoughtfulness know no bounds and i look forward to years of gaming ahead with you. Moonrose - Honestly one of the best people i have ever met. You haven't even been here a year and the effort you put into this branch is insane. I respect you more than you could ever imagine. Eyelander - You have done an absolutly amazing job as a member of command and i fully expect you to be the next DHOR. Besides the cringe jokes that i give you way too much crap for, you are a fantastic person and i love having you around. Light - I stole your name. I admit it. Just wanted to thank everyone at Gaminglight for being apart of my childhood. I joined Gaminglight in January of 2017 (when I was just in 8th grade lmao) and now I am a freshman in college and Gaminglight has been a huge part of my life ever since. Crazy to think that I will be coming up on 6 years in January and I have enjoyed every moment of it. Many have come and gone since I have been here and I have lots of memories. One of those being 1942RP (go luftwaffe) and how fun it was. Thank you Gaminglight and ZEEPTIN for being apart of my childhood

What are you suggesting? - A clear in depth definition of Combat Healing and Combat in general, Currently Combat Healing is against the rules and is defined in the MOTD as: "Never combat heal (Healing yourself or someone else while in an active shootout)." I propose an amendment to this that states an Active Shootout is sustaining or providing direct or indirect fire onto an enemy. this would mean that if you are behind cover you are still in combat until a reasonable amount of time has passed for combat to dissipate, move or end. It would also further reinforce that Being underfire but not taking damage is still being in combat and thus removes any misconception about when the it is okay to heal. Combat should end after X amount of time of Inactive Directed Fire or you are safe from being pushed by the enemy, E.G Being on the other side of a locked door they can't easily open. How would this change better the server? - Clear up any confusion and create a solid definition of combat healing for the server Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Not that i can think of Who would this change mostly benefit? - Everyone who doesn't combat heal

Just for reference Vader never leaked anything as someone that participated in this raid another player that was on criminal named Osprey gave us the code and when we asked where he got it they stated that they overheard it from coming close to the mansion and they overheard the code being spoken. It was at this point that UMC was able to push in as we had one of our members already inside of mansion as they snuck past your defenses after y'all entered the code to the base. Sinclair you had a whole dispute inside of game via OOC and we told you to drop it and now you bring this to the forums via a general chat. if you truly feel like vader did something wrong please submit a player report or contact SS command about this situation. It is wrong to set up allegations without factual proof. I can speak for every member there "WE DID NOT GET THE CODE FROM VADER" so stop trying to pin stuff on him just because you may have beef with them doesn't mean you should set them up for failure.
