  1. Didn't really want to do this but I don't have too much of a choice unfortunately, so here it goes. It all started off by server hoping one night with a roommate because we recently had put both our PCs in the office area and began playing games together more often. Smoking blunts and having a good ol' time. Got him really into SCP Containment breach for about a month. Eventually we branched off to other games we can play together. Remembered I had an extra copy of GMOD. Gifted it to him and started playing random servers. Told him about DarkRP. Had a hard time learning, then we found a Fallout server. Had a great time on there. Eventually stumbled across SCP RP. Joined it and started getting to know the server. Didn't know until level 25 that D class brawler was a thing. Dumb me I guess. Anyway, had tons of fun and finally escaped to see the surface one night. To no suprise, no CI FTO at the time lol. Next day I get broken out during a CI Raid. Lots of fun. Being in CI helped me learn A LOT about the server. I really didn't know too much about how to play on it until then. Played so much everyday and learned as much as I could. Got perma banned at the rank of CPL because the ban bot thought I was alt-ing. After about a week or two of fighting with the bot, Rang and Igneous finally were able to get my roommate and I unbanned and I was able to return. Lot of fun that was. Anyway, the grind continued and finally made my way up to Commander. Loved every moment of the climb. However, the climb must stop and I will have to take a few steps down the ladder. So here are a few people that made my time on the server extremely memorable. In no specific order. Dang - I hope you stopped losing money on the market man. I counted my losses and am playing it safe now lmao. Anyway, you were always a very interesting person to talk to when on. You saw a lot in me and I noticed you knew who I was pretty fast so that made me feel really welcome. You didn't really push me, but I felt a lot of encouragement coming from you. So thanks munter. Enuz - First thing I remember when I met you was you asking me if I was an Enuzer. Didn't know wtf that was. But I played along, and followed you on the forums. And even after your annoyed status updates popping up every single damn day, I still follow your dumbass. It's a meme now tho, so I like it. Raids with you are fun because you how you react to shit. Hope you get DSD soon. (Thumbs down) Skela - Thanks for giving me my CI whitelist back. That's the first thing I ever bugged you about. Fuck chain of command, let me message skela. Ya that seemed to work. You know what else worked? A meeting on acid. haha. Fr tho, Story telling with you has always been incredibly interesting and I would love to continue doing it. Just make sure no one talks about byakugans . Also, are you the manager yet? M8 - Never heard you speak once. Kinda lame but it iz what it iz. I was worried you'd have hard feelings when we denied your LT-COL app, but you made it to LT-CMDR. You did a really good job at it too. Couldn't have asked for a better Gamma by my side to help get stuff done. Also with my work schedule, your availability to do roster REALLY helped. Sorry you had to do most of the work. Hope - You rarely ever spoke when we met but that's okay. You were a very cool dude and I secretly competed with you since we would always get promoted at the same time. Then you passed me up and I was like ugh. It's okay though, I didn't have any hate at all. Just respect. I can probably say that you were probably the main person I bonded with the most on the server, despite you never really talking. I appreciate all the work you put in when we worked together on CI stuff. You were a good partner. Keep studying man. You're a smart dude and I hope you go far in life. Neo - I remember when you and scar were always in R&D labs chilling. I didn't really know you that well before I got to know scar well, but you got so much farther than he did. I mean that happens when you don't resign. Anyway, your point of views were always very reasonable and I'm glad you got as far as you did. Like I said in your resignation, you got R&D to the best state it's ever been in. I hope it still lives up to your expectations. Orange - I always wanted to tell you that you had an ASMR voice, but was afraid of getting striked. So I never did. So I'm telling you now. We never really played together at all but you were always around so you definitely helped with my experience on the server. Propane - You were always hosting raids like a fucking mad man. Whenever you were on, I knew shit would get done. You were a great command member. Glad to see you're making a come back. Silver - Never really knew you too well, but you were pretty cool to raid with. Didn't suck ass with a gun like I do so that was always a good thing. Comrade - Ugly. Glad you finally ended up getting a new mic. Fucking hated your old one. Also one of the people I had a strong connection with. A lot of people hated you for all the stupid shit you would do, but I found it funny as shit. Stay safe out there. FunkmasterJack- You had a similar situation I did when I first joined CI. "Tf happened to my whitelist?" Glad to help ya' out there bud. Still don't know how the fuck you were so good with a sledgehammer. Scar - Didn't last long, but super cool dude. You always needed a mental day off and that's fine. We all do sometimes. Idk if you'll see this since you aren't around anymore but still. I hope you're doing well my guy. Rabbit - Thanks for that tip about the jumping jacks. Glad I didn't die. Jolt - Sawbones man. Giant enemy spider. Yes. You had your moments that were questionable, but you've learned from them so that's good. You've been a dedicated member and yes, I'm aware you got you levels without AFKing. Stop flexing. But it just shows that you won't give up. Hope you get far. Warren - You were a minge at first. I was afraid when you got command. But you actually did pretty well. I'm glad you didn't do anything stupid. Look at you know. I bet your 7 wives are real proud of you Haha, take care my guy. Get some fucking sleep! Ignis - Glad you were able to come back. I struggled with my slang a lot too. Too a while to make sure I wouldn't slip up. Happens to the best of us. CI Speedrun tho. Holding a pretty good record I'd say. Keep up to good work. Altair - Miss you man. You were a great person and I could always count on you to be on when I wanted to riot with someone in the late hours. Hope you're doing well. Mexicanguy - I tried training you and you said you don't speak english. Then you got trained a week later. What happened? You learned english in 1 week? How smart are you! Haha! You were a pretty good member of CI. I know it sucks there aren't a lot of SCP RP servers with spanish speakers, but I'm glad you were able to make this place your home. Teno - You were on and Off, but you always made sure you didn't get removed. So you didn't forget about us. I respect that a lot. Bazooka - Funny dude. Thanks for the good times Jay - Hi Jay! See, I didn't forget to say hi this time. Lee - Still a GOATED member of CI. Never forgotten. Please fix your PC. We all miss you. Lefty - Trash Yato - Always had weird ass status' on your discord but was always super chill to talk to and play with. Zero - Sorry I always declined your invites to play other games. It wasn't because I didn't like you. I was always afraid I gave off that impression. It was mostly because I just don't like playing games that much. I got depressed and stopped playing games all together back in 2016. After a 3 year break SCP RP was the only thing that was able to reel me back into gaming. Even then, that was literally all I wanted to play. I hope you never felt like I was avoiding you. Yohan - Absolutely love the accent man. I miss Davy tho. Coltable - Ayyy it's the TTT admin. Wait? We had a TTT server? I hope that PC is holding up well. I didn't wanna be responsible for recommending shit parts. I'm glad you managed to get Manager. You did a lot for the server. Even when you transferred your staff rank from TTT, all you did was take sits. You moved up the chain quick. You hold a speedrun record of your own. At least in my eyes. Idk if there actually is a speedrun for manager. Payton - Good thing there are no more gambling tables so I can stop lending you money you'd never pay back haha. Cogs - Thanks for the demotion mate. Thanks for listening and letting me open up tho. I hope you're doing well now too. If I forgot anyone, I'm very sorry. I will edit if you wanna cry about it. Anyway, I'm not gone forever. I'm only gone until I move again and am in a better situation than I am now. So probably be back in January. I just feel bad that I can't do much with the current situation I'm in.

  2. After reviewing the incident, it is quite clear that multiple extremely concerning things took place in regards to how this specific sit was handled. I want it to be made extremely clear that this conduct displayed by the two staff members is NOT tolerated, and is NOT condoned by any measure. Staff members are supposed to treat the players they encounter with respect, and it is quite clear that in this case they fell quite, quite far from that expectation. Additionally, it should be noted that the reporting player elected to wait this long before coming forward with this incident. Had this incident been made public when it occurred, I can say for a certainty that Luxxy would not have been advanced to the rank of Senior Admin, nor would she have still be a staff member in the first place. I highly, highly encourage those of you that find evidence of staff misconduct to come forward with it right away so staff members can be held accountable. In regards to the video itself, the most obvious violation of the staff handbook is clear: 1) Staff members represent the Gaminglight Community at all time, whether you’re on or off duty. As such, staff members should be respectful to other players and staff members at all times. As such, both Senior Admin Luxxy and Senior Admin Noah Lee have both been removed from the staff team effective immediately. Luxxy has received a community blacklist due to additional comments that she made in response to this report, as well as other conduct. I want to extend a formal apology to Glitch who was directly affected by this incident. While RDM isn't acceptable, that did not warrant being berated to this extent. To prevent similar incidents of this from occurring, as well as help identify problematic staff members earlier in their careers, we're implementing a variety of changes to the staff team and how it's managed. These include increasing the frequencies of audits conducted by Senior Admins and JMT personnel, increased documentation of misconduct by staff members to ensure it's better tracked, a change to how the promotion process for Admins and Senior Admins are advanced, among other steps. It is my hope that as a server we can move past these incidents, and as a staff team we can continue to provide the excellent service we've previously provided.

  4. What are you suggesting? - To remove or heavily reduce the red screen effect upon taking HP damage. How would this change better the server? - Combat would be more enjoyable for all parties, as in its current state, the red screen is both obnoxious, and debilitating to combat situations, working like a flashbang if damage is inflicted enough. It forces combat to be a matter of "sit and wait til you can even see whats happening" which takes a huge chunk of the fun out of the fight. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Absolutely none. As no side would gain an advantage in this case, since it would effect everyone. You can tell when you are shot, your character flinches, and blood shoots out of you right in front of your eyes. Its pretty obvious when you are taking damage. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Anybody who gets hurt, ever. So everyone. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - I know there are mods that add new effects and disable others, or some that remove red screen effects of all kinds. Alternatively, one could be made for the server itself. Could either A: lessen or disable the current effect one way or another, or B: replace it entirely with a new effect that isn't like someone put red tape over your eyes.

  5. What are you suggesting? - Some clarifications on certain breach situations with scp's. How would this change better the server? - More clarification Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Scp's won't be able to get out in certain situations Who would this change mostly benefit? - a bit scp's but mainly Non SCP's Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - So I'm thinking of adding these rules to the main scp rules. As currently there are no set rules for these rules. 1. SCP's that are being Fed cannot attempt to kill/infect the people giving them the d-class nor attempt to breach their containment chamber. 2. SCP's are considered recontained when placed back in their containment chamber and uncuffed. SCP's may not attempt to re-breach after being released from cuffs/kill the person releasing him from cuffs till their NLR is up. The reason why these rules would benefit us is that SCP'S don't have too many rules about feeding/being recontained. I think these two rules will help with clarifying those things.

  6. 1. Steam Name?: a_krew10 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:162961154 3. Roster Name?: akrew10 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: March 13th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: I’ve been in Security for about 8-9 months. Joined mid to late October 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?:Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to become a senior command member as I feel like I am ready for the position. I have been in low command for a while and feel ready for an upgrade. I am fairly active in Security and have hosted a fair amount of PTs throughout my time in command and always deliver them when asked to do so. I tend to promote those who deserve it and while it may not be often, I make sure that no one goes unnoticed. How I do that is being active at around 3-4 am EST. I’m usually on at that time every other day and helps those in other time zones or those who just generally have good late-night activity. I can communicate well with enlisted and NCOs alike and try to help everyone have a good time while in d-block. I feel as if I am easy to approach and I spend most of my time in d-block ready to be there if anyone has a question or if something goes wrong. If something does go wrong, I am usually lenient upon newer security and will give a second chance unless the scenario is severe. I try to communicate well with all ranks in Security and I feel as if I do so. During my time in command, I haven’t received a strike and plan to keep it like that for the remainder of my time in Security. I am also DHFTO which helps me gain experience and a new set of skills that I feel will be useful in senior command not to mention being a big commitment to the branch as a whole. I have tried to improve with criticism and mistakes that I made and improved upon ever since I joined command. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: First, if they did leave d-block constantly with permission, I would have to talk to the NCO giving permission to the OFC and say that the Enlisted need a valid reason to leave D-Block like to go to Med-Bay or armory. If they left without permission, I would tell them that they must get SGT+ permission if they want to leave D-block for any reason. If they happened to do it again then I would give them a verbal warning and he will face removal on the next time he did it. If they did it again, then I would just remove them and place a DNT of 4 days for not listening to command and leaving d-block without permission. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would confront the NCO and ask why he would keep leaving D-block. Once he gives me his reasoning (which is terrible in this scenario) I would then explain that he would good reasons like low on health, need to go to armory, leading a patrol, etc. Then I would ask him not to leave D-block without reason again. If I see him doing it again I would give him a verbal and put him on either the watchlist or DNP for two days. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would first order them to leave as the MOTD states that E-11 are not allowed in D-Block unless SPECIFIC circumstances are met which in this case they are most likely not. If they constantly try and come into d-block, I would inform them that it is against the MOTD to come into d-block and would immediately try to get ahold of E-11 CMD so that they could deal with it. If they do it once more, I would resort to calling a sit and have staff deal with them since they are breaking MOTD. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Well prior to promoting a CPT to a SGT, I would first make sure that they are not on the DNP and make sure that they are on the roster. Then I would bring them to bunks and ask them to go to a separate TS channel. There I would give them the NCO guide and go over the important parts with them like calling protocols on code orande/black, how to give escorts and lead patrols, they can give permission to leave d-block, and join FTO program. If they would like to join the FTO program, I would train them after this process. Then I would make sure that they have a forums account and give them discord tags. Then with the new channels that they have I would explain how they can recommend enlisted for promotion and make NCO activity logs which looks good for them and those that are one with them. They could also be trained for sniper if they haven’t done so. Once that is done, I would whitelist them and fill out the promotion log.

  7. Your In-game: Orange Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:121830468 The admin's name in-game: Rangiatea The admin's steam name (If you know it): [GL] Rangiatea What did the admin do: At first I want to start off by saying that this is in no way a personal vendetta against Rang, and with making this report I understand the weight something like this can hold. With that being said, the points brought up in this report constitute a bigger issue that I believe needs to be addressed, for the good of the SCP-RP Community. The current community consensus of the Senior Management Team is that the leader of the SMT team is not doing very much. My viewpoint is that the rest of the SMT team is picking up the slack. I see the Head Admins/Head of Staff doing things that the manager should be doing, and it has been that way for a little while now. The Community is led to believe this because of the seeming lack of playerbase communication and general updates to the server. He has not put out an announcement or flag up ping since June 19th; Nor has he interacted with very many people in the community besides Branch Administration. He seems unwilling to communicate outside his inner circle, and being a manager it is part of his job to communicate with the playerbase in order to better the server. This is distressing compared to previous management who were known to throw out flag up pings and general announcements almost daily. Due to this, the community's general opinion of SMT has plummeted significantly. With that being said, there is a specific incident that is brought to mind. One morning a new job appeared on the server. This job was named [REDACTED], and was placed in the Staff category. This job was put in by Rangiatea, and to my knowledge nobody had been contacted or informed about this addition. This normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but I’m going to list things about this job that made it an issue. Players on the job were given the best weapons on the server. Granted super-speed (Basically fastest job on the server) Was given the highest level keycard Held no actual authority in roleplay, but actively interfered roleplay scenarios The only players who were allowed to play this job, were players known to be in rangs “inner-circle” This job was immediately met with backlash (for obvious reasons), and due to the backlash the job was stated to be “superadmins only”. Obviously this job should have never been a thing in the first place, and served no other purpose than for Rang and his friends to have a good time. This degraded Rang’s reputation with the community, as this was an obvious and biased use of power. The next point is a bit of a sensitive topic, but this individual is definitely a part of this report. If you are familiar with what is being discussed in this report, you likely know that Luxxy is a part of this as well. Rang is heavily biased towards her, and she has been involved with almost all of the bias situations that I’ve discussed. It’s no secret that Rang and Luxxy are friends. However the issue doesn’t lie with their friendship, it lies with the blatant favoritism and rule breaking they do when they are together. Many players saw the staff report on Luxxy a few weeks ago, and the truth about that report is that Rang allowed her to blatantly break the staff handbook, and because of that, it set an example that other staff were allowed to do the same. Luxxy received no notable punishment for these actions, because as stated by Rookieblue “The admin in question had been modeled by a member of SMT, and allowed to continue staffing”. On a more recent note, Rang has bought Luxxy and himself a custom job. In my personal opinion, the manager of the server should not be buying his recently promoted Senior Admin a custom job, especially considering the previous reports of favoritism and bias. The job resembles the type of actions Rang previously allowed Luxxy to do prior to the staff report, which seems to be a work around. What do you believe should happen to the admin: Due to the nature of this report, I don't know what actions I would suggest. I would just like this to be addressed and corrected. Any extra information: I wish not to cause any mass drama, or deliver hate towards Rang, however I would like these issues to be addressed for the betterment of SCP-RP. Even as a non-staff member I feel empathetic towards the staff team because I do not want them to feel discouraged and or upset by Rangs actions. Please do not start arguments in the thread, leave only +/-’s of your experiences and what this report may have brought to light.

  9. ok so, this may start controversy but +support my reasoning 1. lots of experience as staff 2. been in the community longer then i have 3. positive views from the community 4. yes there are 33warns! but... people can change, and i personally havent heard any bad about weeb, plus these warns are from a while back 5. decent application, edited however concerns 1. you said you usually stop at moderator, we like our staff to excel and so sticking at moderator could be an issue 2. the amount of warns worries me slightly 3. you are known to minge, and with staff powers this can be deadly for the community other then that, i believe weeb COULD fit the tmod role sufficiently and do a good job, but would need to be kept an eye on considering the amount of warns

  11. What are you suggesting? - As of right now SCP-194 is a bit underpowered. The HP is only at 475 which a small MTF team can take on easily and the SCPs SWEP it uses barely registers half the time. I suggest doing one of three things to it, 1. Buffing its HP to 700-1000. 2. Making the SWEP register more often. 3. Make it's passive regeneration faster. How would this change better the server? - It would make playing the SCP more interesting for people who mainly like to play SCP's and bought the the SCP job pack. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - It would make MTF's job of containing it harder. Who would this change mostly benefit? - People who bought the job pack. Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A

  12. 1. Steam Name?: Ashe Fox 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:1:56569170 3. Roster Name?: AsheFox 4. Current Rank?: 1LT 5. When were you promoted?: July 10th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 7 months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: I always will 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I for one am one of the most active low command on the server. I’m on almost daily, doing pings, and playing on my command and wardens job respectively. I treat my peers with respect and decency, as well as understand their needs and concerns and how to deal with these. I know how to handle stressful situations and never crack under the pressure, showing a good example to our aspiring enlisted and NCO’s. My reputation among my peers is also phenomenal, having many friends in security who trust and look up to me, as well as those who often come to me to ask questions that I answer quickly and efficiently. Even more so to prove my great reputation is the fact I have NEVER gotten a main security strike on myself in my entire 7 months of playing security, and I carry that badge with pride. In d block I talk to our NCO’s and mentor them, I put them on the path to success within gensec, and maybe even put them on the path towards becoming command their self someday. I know how to handle those who need discipline, doing so respectfully. I will never insult someone who was breaking our sop, only ever explaining what they did wrong and what the punishment is, as I think making punishments personal has absolutely no place within our command. I also organize patrols with our NCO’s when we have ample people in d block to help get them and enlisted out of d block. My lengthy time on the server and seniority over others also shows, as I have a great understanding of the inner workings of security. I also host PT’s that get great responses, and that everyone has a lot of fun at. And of course I have a respect for my fellow command and security that can not be matched, we are all in this together to have fun and kick some ass, so I hope you could all give me the privilege of being your guys new senior command. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would take him to bunks and go over the rules of leaving d block. I would inform him that he must ask a NCO permission to leave and leave it at that with a verbal warning. If this behavior continues after the verbal warning I would then put them on a watchlist/remove them depending on the severity. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would take them to bunks and ask why they insist on leaving d block over and over. Since they are a NCO they are to be held to a higher standard so I would instantly put them on a watchlist/dnp and warn them to not behave like this again. If they continue this activity then I would issue strikes accordingly. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would respectfully ask them to leave, before contacting a E-11 command member to handle the situation since it is not in my jurisdiction to handle situations involving E-11. I would also gather proof of this incident using clips to assist E-11 command in punishing the mingey PVT. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Well first I would explain to them the responsibilities that this new rank holds, and that they are expected to take command over enlisted in d block, organize escorts, and organize patrols. I then will go over the NCO guide with them and talk about every section briefly with them. I will also inform them that they may now be trained for security sniper and FTO’s. I would explain to them that they may now go to armory and medbay if they please and d block is safe. I will also go over the NCO activity log channel and how to utilize it to the best of its ability and how to correctly format their log

  13. Steam Name?: xX_Assassin_Xx 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:535748765 3. Roster Name?: Assassin 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: July 10th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?:I'd at least been in Security for two months but my last time before i resigned, it was three months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: I do promise to uphold thte rules of the gaminglight and security guidelines 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes i do promise to uphold my duties as a CMD members 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes i do indeed promise to listen/respect my lower ranking individuals as sometimes hints/tips from those lower can help someone stay on track if they start losing sight of the certain goal they are chasing after. 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to become senior command to increase my influence/knowledge on the field. If i was to be SCMD, i would be able to supervise lieutenants on off meetings. My goal is to get LCMD comfortable with off meetings as i have seen that they're not used often. I was a former MAJ but i resigned. I want to redeem myself as i was not be able to do what i could have done. family and school issues piled up and as a result, i had to leave but it is better and i feel more than confident enough to apply for SCMD. I have previous leading skills as an HFTO but i don't feel as that counts as again, i wasn't HFTO long enough to make an impact but the skills i've learned from them have increased my skills and confidence. As a SCMD, i would be able to help pick WO's and increase/encourage more activity in LCMD for PT's and off meetings. i am also HOPO and take it very serious, i try to talk to other CMD members to see if they know what they want to do and if they can host it. I have my flaws yes but what CMD member doesn't have flaws, We're humans. But it's what we do with those flaws is what makes us who we are. I'm always wanting to hear what i did wrong and what i did right, i always talk to NCO's and ask if they have any questions before i leave for the night. Part of LCMD job is to help NCO's and if i get SCMD, i can help LCMD and the rest of GENSEC. My goal is to help gensec to the best of my abilities and the first step to that is to get SCMD and to help better GENSEC. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: Well first step, i would ask him to come with me to bunks. I'd ask him why he did it and the reason behind it. if he replies with a mingy response then i would give him a warning and put him on a DNP. But if he is dealing with IRL problems then i would tell him that even if it is irl problems that he should at least talk to an NCO+ about it so that we can work something out. If the security officer keeps walking out and minging and i've already put him on a DNP, then i would remove him as i do not deem him fit for security. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would tell the NCO that they shouldn't be leaving D-block constantly as NCO's are the one's enlisted look up to. I would tell them that if they see you do that then they would think it's okay too. If it is a repeated offense then i would strike them and put him on a DNP. if repeated after that then i would have to demote them it's a sad truth but some are just not ready for NCO. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: First i would ask him who gave him perms to enter D-block. if he does not say anyone did then i would screenshot him being in D-block and talk to the nearest LCMD about his actions and ask if they can prevent this from happening again. If he has gotten perms to be in D-block then i would have him stand down if I or another CMD is in D-block as D-block is security's Duty to take over/control. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: The process of one moving to Corporal to sergeant is a simple but most important task as a CMD member. I would hand them the NCO guide and read it with them. I would then say "as an NCO, we'll be expecting you to call binds and help enlisted to be behind barricades". I would also tell them that they can call binds on orange and block and down instead of just only being able to call them on code red. I would also tell them that when it comes to promotions, they they would need to show leadership, activity, and tending to researchers. Make sure that they are tending to them quickly and efficiently. I would tell them that they are eligible for sniper and the FTO program. I would rather them take their time instead of joining FTO right away as it would help them balance stuff and not overload them with responsibilities. So when i go over FTO, i would ask them "do you want to join the FTO program, it's fine if you don't want to". If they so no then i would say that it's fine but if they say yes then i would train them. I would also tell them that they can go on patrols and that it would be better if they went on patrols without asking. After the training, i would then give them the whitelists and dismiss them while i am logging the promotion.

  14. Name: Xnmora Rank: Captain SteamID: STEAM_0:0:442964127 Reason for leaving: Recently my life has changed a lot and now I don't have much time to dedicate to the server. I don't even have much time to write this. I don't feel like it's fair or right for me to hold the rank of command but not have the time or energy to remain active. I've had a hell of time playing on the server with all of you. Thank you to everyone that has helped me get to command and everyone that made me want to stick around. I want to thank all the former RCU command and the present command (Panda) for helping to make a class that I loved so dearly and was the main reason I stuck around on E11 for so long. Shoutout to To Nenea, Thank you for introducing me to Hearts of Iron 4 even though I suck at it it's a game I still enjoy playing and would not have ever given it a chance if not for you. To One, I may never had gotten to promote you... No that's it I never got to promote you. You're stinky and I hope to see you again when I return one day. Thanks for all the laughs. To Guinea, Thank you for mentioning that one Roblox game it's pretty cool. Keep up the great work. To all the former Omicron-9, God I miss that branch so much. To everyone, I suck at writing these types of things so sorry if you weren't mentioned. Thanks for all the memories.

How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 6 months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to become senior command because I want to help the branch grow and improve and by getting a higher position I believe that allows me to do so better. I also have been in command for decent while now and believe moving up will give me the ability to help the branch in many ways. I want to improve professionalism and not biased punishments and rewards, as I have seen this as an issue not only in security but in the server as a whole. I want to improve new member's experience in the branch by making sure the branch stays active and good. I want the branch to enjoyable for everyone in the sense of having fun and not everything being taken super seriously as that can make the branch unappealing to people. Overall, I believe the branch has many way to change and grow and I believe I can help make it happen. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would stop the officer and ask why they were leaving d-block and if they had received permission to do so. If they gave a valid reason and actually had permission to do so I would ask them to cut back on leaving d-block so much, but if they didn't have permission I would tell them they need permission from a NCO+ to leave d-block and send them back. Then if I caught them leaving d-block without permission again I would bring them back to bunk and promptly remove them from security. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would ask them to come to bunks and/or a different Teamspeak channel and reinforce the idea that d-block is important to hold, because if it is not held it disrupts the server's roleplay and the flow of the server as a whole. Since it is our job and #1 priority to hold it. If the NCO in question continued to leave d-block with bad reasons I would strike them, then demoted if the NCO continued to do so. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would kindly tell them that they cannot come in and act like they own the place, and tell him to leave. If the E-11 continued to do so I would get evidence and report them to E-11 command and let them handle it from there. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Obviously I would congratulate them whilst giving them the NCO guide. I would read through the NCO guide with them and take them through their new perms they get and their duties as NCOs. Then I would inform them of how they can look good to receive promotions and their new trial period length. Then I would get them their NCO tags in discord and walk them through how to do activity logs. Next, I would talk to them about taking command and how to handle said situations if put into them. Finally, I would inform them that when WO apps are open as a NCO they can apply for it, also that they can now be trained for sniper and become a JFTO and offer to train them for said positions.

  17. +/- support Clips seem a little taken out of context, however, I remember that during the event I saw a bit of arguing back and forth in OOC chat between Walter and Pablo which may explain why Walter would be targeting Pablo. I'm not staff so I can't check chat logs but if someone else could that would be great!

During my time in staff Vice was always there to hop on when help was needed no matter what he was doing at the time. Vice has been Admin for a long time now and I'm sure his knowledge of the server's rules and guidelines has only increased tenfold. His application is very well written and I believe he is more than ready to become Senior Admin

This is simply because I've been burnt out from killing rouge d-class, and I wanted to try out some other branches. While I have a gigantic role in staff too, as I am a Moderator. Security was the main reason I enjoyed playing on the server, and I appreciate everybody who stood by and had fun with me. Mentions Sixx: Awesome HOS, to be honest, when I first joined Security I didn't even notice he was HOS. Mind: I remember the time where I escorted him throughout LCZ as a warden, fun times, fun times Jack S: This is a hard working man, hosts meetings alot. APE: APE cool guy Georgie: I'm sure you've seen me around, your a very cool and funny guy, new colonel. Sprink: I'm gonna be honest, you are hard working too, HFTO and EWD. I hope to see you in the long run a few times. Warmercarp: To be honest, I almost called you Warmpercarp before. Raptor: I mean, you're not on very often, but when you are on you are a very nice guy. BugisBugis: Come on man, best MAJ out there. Akrew10: Nice job in Security man, you are also hard working. Cappie: Haven't seen you around, but still you are pretty cool. ARDM, RDM warns 2. the "why do you want to be staff" question seems slightly rushed 3. you can issue the warning yourself so that the admin+ can file the ban on your behalf, you are able to warn but not ban

  26. +Support Jackcat135 has not only abused his powers off duty as seen in this evidence, he has also shown a lack of knowledge towards the rules. I have two clips consisting of him not knowing what metagame is, not knowing how to use logs correctly, not knowing how to warn someone via SteamID (Really the only way you should warn someone for safety reasons), AFKing on Staff uncloaked on Surface, not knowing that your not allowed to AFK on Staff, and physgunning me when I stopped him from AFKing on surface. The two clips were sent to SMT and JMT as I didn't see a reason at the time to make a report as these are mostly rookie mistakes that can be corrected by being retrained and supervised without needing punishment. I won't be making the clips public as I don't want to cause drama but if JMT/SMT would like to review the clips again feel free to contact me on Teamspeak and/or Discord.

Not only that, but you are already over qualified for the job in my opinion. you're Active, have a lot of command experience, shows authority in D block, perfect for the job(again in my opinion) and you wer e part of my WO group and made it to Captain way before most of us were 1LT.

  35. In light of recent events, a former well known member of the gaminglight community would like to give his input on the situation. That member is Babalowa/Skidmark. I am here just to present word for word what he had to say, along with clips of proof to back up his input on the matter. https://medal.tv/clips/58201285/d1337xjHHTEB https://medal.tv/clips/58192750/d133766zhYO5 "So a couple days after I sent these clips to chief for the report i was banned for "hacking", and Rang knew I had proof that I was innocent and as such I told people to tell him so I could possibly get the issue rectified. He ignored it and told people to stop coming to him about it because he's "gonna get mad", I believe I was targeted. The clip that got me banned was there for a month and had already been floating around CI. Then when I make both the reports I get banned, although this could've been a coincidence and I believe that it was. Also someone told me (An Nu-7 Command who I wlll NOT name, so I find the source trustworthy) a rumor in which Noah lee had said that I threatened SMT, which I never have done, and have found no proof that I had done such an action. This post was to get things off my chest and address some concerns of mine. The main report is centered on the corruption, or at the very least, bias with Rang, Luxxy, and Noah Lee, as they all are always doing something together, and as can be seen in this thread, they have each others backs regardless of the circumstances even if one is in the wrong. In the clip, Rang watches as Luxxy disrespects me both times, and all Rang does is say "Cut it out," which if another staff member had acted in this way, the repercussions would have greater than just a quick "knock it off" comment. To her credit she had apologized for her actions, but this isn't something that has stopped permanently, and she has not seemed to have learned from past mistakes to a acceptable level. All members of staff are expected to represent teh community at all times, something that is quite literally the first rule put on the handbook, and she has always had a problem with temper and disrespect towards both players, and staff alike. She has been banned for staff and server diss before, and yet there has been no major positive change in her behavior that I am currently aware of. I have been accused falsely of multiple actions, and have been the victim of many rumors, so I feel for Luxxy and I hope greatly that she is not harassed or bothered for her actions, and hope that she can take steps to improve, I just believe that at the very least, she should take that time to improve away from the server first, as it seems to affect her negatively in her duties on the Gaminglight SCP-RP server. We all need a break sometimes and that is completely understandable. Nonetheless, I believe action should be taken to make her actions hold weight."

  36. First of all, why are you seeking validations from strangers online. If you are suffering from what you are saying, go see a therapist. We are not dissing anyone. From what I can see here, we are making criticism towards the involved parties. There's a difference between critiscm and a diss. - I haven't been on the server for around 15 days as well but although the server is in a good spot. If this isn't addressed, I can see how the other staff member may potentially be frustrated with this. Thank you for the post.
