To clarify, final experience does not mean I'm quitting I just feel this could be the last time I make one of these posts. I just wanna make my final statements about my observations of this server over the past week, and give an honest perspective on the server's health. First off, this server is really fun to play on and if your a new player looking at this post then I would 100% recommend to play this server over other SWRP servers. It has a lot of roleplay, fun events, and just generally a non-toxic community you can play with. You can join a regiment, fly ships, there is even a skill point system which I think is awesome. Personally, I feel like on a lot of things there is bias with staff. If someone says something, others will blindly follow regardless of reading so they fit in. People have skipped rank cooldowns in numerous regiments, and this post isn't to complain about issues, but this is really the only major issue I've come across with the server. There is lagspikes on the server, and it is moderately laggy at most times, but thats expected since there are a lot of things in the game that require it and we always have a concurrent 50+ player count. Overall, there are a lot more goods than bads on the server. Below me is a list of all of the really nice people I have met. If your not on the list, it doesn't mean your rude or anything, I just haven't met you. Whether or not you like me I don't really care, and it won't change my opinion on you. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Texas (Shock) - Really nice guy, helped me in Shock and just really awesome and approachable. - M (Shock) - Amazing officer, really good person, a lot of qualities we need in IRP - Blast (Shock) - Strict, but a really good NCO and person in general. Always helpful and willing to answer my dumb questions. - Quicky (SF) - Really nice to talk to, and knows a lot about the server. (my personal server guide ;D, jk jk.) - Sully (SF) - Sully is someone I haven't known for that long but is great at his job as SF Marshal, and a staff member on Imperial RP. Honestly just great! - Ptob (SF) - Ptob is also someone in SF, the VM, and really has helped me with issues I've had in the past. - Azir (SF) - The person who originally helped me for like 4 hours on an SF tryout because I didn't know how to work TeamSpeak. Awesome guy, really nice, and a great staff member! - Emily (Head GM) - Not sure if Emily likes me or not, but she is great at her job and her events are flawless and fun. I was at a late night LAAT dogfight that turned into bumper cars and it was great. - 0xEmma (Shock) - Not sure if Emma likes me either, but she is also great. A Super Admin and a Shock VCDMR, obviously Emma has been entrusted with a lot. The fact she can handle it all is awesome, and she is really nice as well. - Brendan (Medical) - Brendan is a epic Medical Commander and a supertastic Staff member on IRP. Really helpful, and provided a lot of advice for me on becoming a staff member which is great. - Coward (Naval) - Literally just a fun guy I met when I was guarding BCP as Shock. Really fun to be around, makes da good jokes. - Mikey (Naval) - The first person to give me a Naval tryout, and my 2nd ever tryout in general. I failed, but I can tell his leadership skills are really well developed and he definetely deserves his position. - Magma (RG) - (also dwa). Bruh.. This guy helped me so much throughout my time on the forums. Never seen him ingame, but I talked to him once on discord yesterday and he helped me a lot he deserves a big shoutout - Bond (SF/DT) - Bond is a really good roleplayer, and a impeccable pilot for us at SF. Had a lot of chats with him while on duty at SF on a TeamSpeak. 10/10 gamer. - Frank - just.. epic. legit epic man. Really active, helpful, supportive, and the like. - Hawkeye (Staff) - Uh.. Geesh. I got a lot about Hawkeye. DND ner- I mean awesome staff, I got to be an actor at one of his events a few days ago and it was fantastic to be apart of. Enjoyed every second. Great person to be in Shock as well, and active as heckle on IRP. - Mist (SF) - Nice person, pretty funny, sometimes a bit mingy but thats everyone at times. - Fisch (Staff/SF) - Kewl staff, good SF, been on a lot with Fisch recently since he is really active as SF. I dunno what adjectives to describe this good boi since I've used all my good ones. - Isaac (IST) - hm. what adjective now... how about supertastic superlagic man who definetely deserves staff. (yall should go read his app btw) - Mikey (Staff/Forums) - Fun person to be around, very active on the forums, amazing Moderator, definetely eligible for his current position on the staff team. Respect +100. - a bunch of DT people i dont know names of because they have 3 letters, still epic people tho - all my homies in SF (havent talked to all of them, so i cant make a desc about them but they are all really epic gamers and friendly.) Overall, thank you to everyone. I would have put more people, but I'm so tired of typing I'll edit it in a bit. This post was to just overall give my "personal review" on the server and give names of a lot of people I've met in this short time. Yall are great, and I'm really blessed to be able to meet all of you. I hope everyone has a fantastico day and stay safe with COVID.3 big boi post2 points

TBH I knew this day would come, but not so soon so, where to begin? I originally came to this server to mess around with my soundboard and just minge, but being a fan of SCP I decided against it and gave the server a chance before just eventually trying to get myself banned This server was one of the very few in G-mod I found actually enjoyable. It was one of the main reasons I hoped onto Gmod hell, its the main reason I have close to a thousand hours on G-mod to begin with. But, no matter who you are, you are eventually going to get burnt out and thats exactly the case with me. the main reason being is all the people I came on the server to hang out with left and there really is no motivation to get on anymore It just doesnt feel the same as it did 5-6 months ago. That being said, I'm officially resigning from all my positions on the server now, does that mean I wont get on from time to time anymore or chill in the TS? Hello no, you'll still see me on occasionally and ill also still be lurking around the forums from time to time but, It is HIGHLY unlikely I will really join any official branch anytime soon anymore. With that, I'd like to give a few shoutouts to the realest homies I had on the server: Zeus: was sad to see you go, but I hope you're doing well in indian man military and wish you the best of luck StarStep: This man and I grew up In E11 Originally, watched him rise through the ranks and still one of the closest people I know on the server Dempsy: My favorite minge Crystal: Medical minge man, was sad to see you go JackWebb: probably the only person on the server I could trust with anything, Big funne utility man Daniels: Probably could become CMDR of the branch one day if he really tried his hardest Mateo: one of the only OG really left in E11, real homie right here Dakota: GET ACTIVE NERD! Big Boi Sixx: we Never talked much, but not many words are needed to know you're a real one Lil Sixx: one of the most dedicated members on E11, This man is going places Mike: Mike's a kool kid, one of the other remaining OGs in E11 MAtto: Get better at Destiny 2 please Crabbo: Aussie Femboy Man If I didnt mention you that doesnt mean I dont like you, it just means we werent as close as I was with these other people Its been real, but its time for me to head out with the boys Laters, Minges - OWNED1 point

- Support I feel like you have been promoted way too fast. You became Officer in like 2 weeks, and skipped multiple cooldowns for ranks in Shock. (This isn't me, this is Quicky's words.) I have no issue with you yourself, but you need more experience just as I do.1 point

-Support I know you are eager to take higher positions, but I feel you are moving too fast with this stuff, you feel you deserve the best rank because you think you do the best, but you don't like those that disagree with you, which is not a good attribute for a CMDR. You also were trying to get my VCMDR app denied because I replied to someone saying that I had changed. I do not believe that you deserve CMDR because of these things, CMDRs should not be doing these things and treating enlisted troopers like they don't know what they are doing and are worthless. I think you need more time leadiing Shock and you need to get better with enlisted. For similar reasons I am not posting a CMDR app.1 point

What is Teamspeak? It is a communication server such as Discord, this is our primary mode of communication. This is where we hold our Staff/Community/Department meetings for the various servers. How do I get started with Teamspeak? First you will need to go to the Main Teamspeak website to download the client here. Once you have the correct client installed, you will want to create a myTeamspeak account (This is optional, however this will help with tag sharing, once you have your account synced, all the tags you aquire will be saved to your myTeamspeak account) -You will want to go to Options > myTeamspeak and then create an account, then check mark the Synchronization box and set it to Automatic How do I join the our Gaminglight Teamspeak Server? -You will want to go to Connections > Connect -Server Nickname = ts.gaminglight.com -Server Password = Leave it empty -Nickname = Use the name that you are using in game or your Steam name -You will more than likely have to improve your security level if this is your first time joining, it will roughly take 5-10 min What do I do now? You will be placed in one of our Support channels and a support member will be with you shortly to assign you the member tag so that you can start joining channels and communicating with all of your friends.1 point

It is sad t see you go, you have been a great friend during our time in Shock together, a great memory was when we were taken into brig by rebel spys and were interrogated for info, we then laughed about it for a while because of how funny the situation and dialogue had been. It won't be the same without you.0 points

Recently I've pondered the thought of why warns stay on an account forever. Mostly due to the fact i was banned for a day for reaching my 10 warns. My problem isn't with the ban my problem is with the warns. Half of my warns were from last year and the situations were too long ago to even remember. In my opinion i feel as if after a entire year or two warns should be nulled or removed depending on the warn. For example obviously if you have a warn for Mass RDM that may take longer to disintegrate then a warn for just 1 RDM. This may sound like something hard to implement but i think it is something that will make more people happy because imagine getting 40 warns over the course of 3 years (which wouldnt be hard over 3 years) and getting permabanned. I mean yes people can follow the MOTD and not break rules but people make mistakes and over the course of years and years mistakes may happen alot. I think having certain types of warns have a disintegration time would be a big change but could benefit good players in the long run.-1 points

What are you suggesting? - Commander should get Vice Commander Reserves, I do not think getting to Branch Head and resigning should warrant a demotion out of High Command as getting to that position isn't exactly the easiest. (Not to mention Commander USED to get High Command reserves at COL but now it's not so.) How would this change better the server? - More fair towards the people who get to Branch Heads. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - Not really honestly. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Commander+ Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A-1 points
