Over the past year and some change I have dedicated my time and energy to this server in a way i have never thought possible. When i joined, i never thought i would meet so many wonderful people and have such a joyful time. To be apart of this community means the world to me . I cannot fully express in words what this game, these people, and these opportunities mean to me. Growing up, i really didnt have many friends. Sure i made a few in highschool (hell one i even was going to marry) but in 2016 that all fell apart. My life was in ruins and i fell into a deep depression. Of the few people that stuck by my side they were around but not actively. Every day was full of missed opportunities and quiet evenings alone. Then i found this community, and it has changed my life. I went from having barley anyone to tons of people i could talk with and laugh with every single night. I couldn't wait to get off of work and come home to my computer to see all the smiling faces of research. If nothing else just having the opportunity to connect and chat with people across the world was a pleasure i will always savor. The last year and a half i have made so many new friends and developed relationships with so many people it kicked the depression out of me and gave me a new lease on life. Gone were the weeks where i spoke to no one other than coworkers. Now i had a community i could laugh along with, actual friends. It was more than i could ever ask for. All good things however must come to an end. I am not leaving because i am bitter. I am not leaving because i am sad. I am not leaving due to the actions of others. I am leaving because i am tired. I simply am tired. To play on this server every day for over a year and only miss a collective 6 days takes a toll. I'm burnt out. Im tired. I need to get out and smell the fresh air. I can not fully put into words what this community means to me., But i just want to say THANK YOU! I know in my time here i pissed alot of people off. I know in my time here i made some enemies. I know in my time here i was considered a minge, an annoyance, and even a poor member of the community. Would i change it if i could? Would i go back and change my ways? Absolutely not. The amount of fun i have had on this server will never be replaced. And no amount of internal politicking, distrust, or questionable decisions will ever change that. I love all of you, and that will never change. Even the ones that hate me (and i know damn well who those people are). I will be back. This is not forever. This is not a permanent goodbye. I will be back. Thank you all so much. Whether you know me as Potato, Tomato, or Robert Peterson (which is my real name btw), i jsut want to say.... Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Good luck in the Army (btw ill take a spicy deluxe no pickle) Cogs -inactive Jay - one of the chillest people i have met Hope - Ill watch BNA just for you Beanz - gave a damn about research and that meant a lot of me Hoovy - Hated my guts.
