  1. EMS Should be the only one to have it. Like let's go around in a fire truck and pretend to be "MCU" and catch bombs yayayayaay! +Support
  2. Named myself "Munchies" Cause every time I was cooked/fried(High) I would always get the munchies
  3. Good. We don't want people chatting about off-topic and having personal conversations in a "PATROL ROOM" a PATROL ROOM. Not a "Have a conversation in the Patrol Room". People play on the server to be an officer, act like one. What's wrong with having so many people in 1 channel?, Like it'll be controlled by Command/dispatch. Everyone must have push-to-talk on... and they're not allowed to use their transmissions about off-topic etc.
  4. -Support Honestly this is so irrelevant. I doubt High Command will allow Low Command to use this, as they would probably feel that Low Command would bring out like 10 rescue trucks. If this was to be added into, there should only be 1 rescue truck ("MCU") out not 10. I don't seen this benefiting the Police Department at all, I doubt it'll be rped out etc. Plus we don't even have bombs and if you rp bombs that pretty sad. High Command probably don't use it because it's useless, it's not rp at all. Bearcats are alright for the Police Department, because you can actually rp that and it works pretty good in the police department. That's the only thing you guys would need in the police department something that would fit many officers in it etc. In my opinion, I think this is needed in the Police Department. Keep it to EMS.
  5. I'm sorry but you must be heaps confused aye. How will it destroy the communication system. I mean the suggest that Pliskin made is giving a better communication system, as it will be more organized and it will also work so much better as we can see who's in the channel and who's not etc. SRT, State, SWAT etc, can also be in that teamspeak channel as long as they have push-to-talk on. We're all government departments we should all be in the same channels anyways for communication purposes. "Removal of dispatch", you have to be joking? This will work so much better for dispatch as what pliskin said. Dispatch will have full control on the teamspeak channel and can see who's not in and who is in the channel. Yes teamspeak is for talking off-topic stuff, but when you're in patrol rooms, you should be talking about on-topic stuff etc. If you want to have a personal and off-topic conversation, go into a general room or a private channel. Don't talk about off-topic things in government teamspeak channels etc.
  6. Because, the teamspeak doesn't mean anything to them. Neither does the radio... People being serious?, I've never seen that in my life while on the radio. People still interrupt other peoples transmissions, people still don't follow any of the codes, people don't even get in the same channel. So, I don't know how the radio in-game are used for more "serious topics and urgent calls". While if you have everyone in 1 teamspeak channel as the "Main unit standard" Than everyone would have push-to-talk on. You can also know who's in the channel and who's not, and it'll also get transmissions and messages across to officers faster, so cops don't have to pull over, and people won't have to repeat themselves as the radio in-game does cut out a bit. But people somehow don't know how to use common sense and get so confused with the radio procedures and like it's not hard to learn.
  7. Neutral Although you have gave a reasonable and briefly explanation, about why you would like to become LT. I do see some problems in this application, in your application you have put "Situations" A few times, I'm sure PD Command do have situations covered and know what they're doing but you don't really need to help them as they have experience in that kind of stuff. Try and persuade the reader and explain on what you're going to do for the Police Department. I've said this to many people and I'll say it again, to try and help you with your application. Before applying for a command rank, think to yourself "Have I been doing my job correctly as a SM", "What could I bring to the Police Department", "How can I persuade the reader", "Why do I really want to join PD Low command" etc... Like give yourself an introduction about yourself and a good conclusion to finish it off. When doing your conclusion try not to put something off-topic for an example on what you said, "Thank you, for this amazing and life changing opportunity". There's no need to say thank you etc, pretend like its a resume or a document. Conclusion is like you're kinda repeating on what you said, but in a different sentence. When doing your conclusion make it really interesting and pull the reader in. Just something you'll need to work on and hopefully improve it in your application. I'll change my response after I see improvement in this application. If you want use the guide I gave you, just make sure you're putting time and effort into your application. Also, think to yourself, have I done the role of a Sergeant Major, Have I met the requirements etc. Think before you do it, if you don't think you'll be stressing and not knowing what to put in your application. Other than that, I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll improve this application and make it more interesting for the reader and for others that will read it! Retired Colonel Munchies
  8. +Support Finally someone else that thinks the same! The radio in-game doesn't not help at all, people still have off-topic conversations etc. Teamspeak would be great for a radio, especially when everyone is in the same patrol room, which can be used for the (Main unit Standard). People must have "Push-to-talk on and must use their transmissions correctly. They must not have their own personal conversations and they must not go off-topic. This would also help dispatch as well with everyone in the same room etc. The radio in-game, people hardly are in the same channel and that if we just had teamspeak as a radio than we would know who's in the room and who's not etc. This is honestly want and apparently it's way to "Confusing" to people like seriously, it's common sense. Anyways, this is a good suggestion.
  9. -Support Well first off, and I'm not trying to sound harsh when I say this.. But your application is lacking of information. When creating an application you must think to your self, "How am I going to persuade the reader", "What am I going to do for the Police Department", "What I can bring into the Police Department" etc... Also, even talk about yourself. Give yourself an introduction and a conclusion. It doesn't really matter about weather you've been high command/low command on another sever, we need to know how you act and see professionalism in the sever. Also, if you really need to focus on SRT. You're better off just staying with SRT. Do not apply for LT in True North Police Department, if you cannot uphold activity etc. Being in to many departments will affect your activity in all departments. I recommend staying in 2 departments so you can at least work with both of them and uphold activity. Your Application, has hardly no information and it's not telling us why you want to become PD Low Command. I feel like you rushed this application and did not put enough time and effort. Before you apply for LT, are you making sure that you're up to date with your current job SM?, are you following the role of a SM, are you training and helping officers, are you being active etc. Once you've think you have completed that, start thinking about your LT Application, like I said in the first paragraph, you must persuade the reader and explain on why you want to join PD Low Command etc. I'm going to have to give this a -support., due to the reasons I stated. You need to improve and focus on your application and making sure you're doing everything correctly. You also need to think about the departments you're in and think on how you're going to uphold activity etc. Other than that, I wish you the best of luck!. Retired Colonel Munchies
  10. +1 Bad mikey (Verbal would be good, as he did admitted to his actions. Unlike everyone else!!! #Getrekt)
  11. Who is you mate?, making up some false news. Get out of here mate
  12. Neutral Honestly, where is the effort in this application?, you're applying for a high rank and there is no decent information in this what so ever. You need to take more time and put some dedication in your application... You're pretty much just saying what you did as an Admin. You need to explain on what you're willing to do as a Senior-Admin etc. Tell us more about yourself and like I said, explain what you're going to when you're Senior-Admin. I'll make a decision after, I see improvement in this application, I think we all expect to see more important information in your application. Think to yourself, "How am I going to improve this", "How can I make this better", "What could I bring as a Senior-Admin" etc. If you've been staffing for 4 months, how long have you been admin?. - Munchies
  13. Neutral Using multicolored for your application makes it look bad. There's really no information about what you're willing to do for the Police Department and there's not much information about yourself. You're pretty much explaining about promoting and demoting people and discipline etc. Take your time when making your application, Put more effort in your application, just the tiny things you need to add. I would suggest fixing your application and work on the things you need to do, to improve it. I'll make a decision after, I see improvement. Retired Colonel Munchies
  14. He needs to explain it a bit more... Saying "I joined the server and got the rank". It could of been his friends server etc.
  15. Where does it say on his appeal, "I was randomly given a tag and it got screenshotted". He literally just said "I have left that server for good". So you know that he has been staff on it while being staff on GL.
  16. How did he serves his time?, what in a car... None of you guys are getting the roleplay here, serving his time in cuffs doesn't not count as jail time. He must be in jail to serve his crime, It's not even in the MOTD so why should be lower someone sentence because they were in cuffs for 9 mintues. Don't do crime then, if you can't handle the time literally just don't do crime.
  17. What's the point of jails then?, whats the point of crimes... being in cuffs does not count as jail time, 9 minutes is literally nothing. They still have to do their time and be sentenced due to their crimes they committed. You're better of just having a 1 minute jail time, asking someone to shorten his sentence is not roleplay at all... I believe he should still do the time. Anyways, I'll leave it here I don't think we should be lowering people sentences because they were in cuffs for 9 mins... You're not going to go in the real world and say to an officer, "Man, I've in these cuffs for 20 mintues, can I at least get my sentence shorter". Now, I'm not saying this is seriousRP but still use common sense.
  18. Your a good mate and all, but dude Staff can't be telling us to put them in for however long they want... If it's not in the MOTD than we will continue our job. Being in cuffs does not count as Jail time... whatever crime they committed they must do their time pretty much. Torty wasn't arguing with staff, he was simply stating that there was no rule in the MOTD saying that. I don't see anything wrong with what Torty did, he did everything right and in a civil matter. People should be still getting the time for their crimes they committed and shouldn't be getting less time because of them being in cuffs for 9 minutes.
  19. +Support There is no rule stating that. If an officer has someone in cuffs, it doesn't matter how long the subject is in them for... it's depending on what the officer is doing and must be important. The subject will still get his time for the crime he committed even if he was in the cuffs for 9 minutes. Yes, you do have to do what the staff says but when it's not in the MOTD, staff shouldn't be making up their own rules etc. Mikey, shouldn't even be threating you with a warning either. You have done the right thing, you still give them the correct punishment and time. Like I said, when it's not in the MOTD they shoudn't be threating you with a warn.
  20. NEUTRAL Explain on what you're going to be doing for the Police Department, like are you going to bring any ideas or suggestions etc. Explain how you're going to make TNPD a safer environment to be around. Give us a bit more information about yourself and put more effort in your application. That's what we PD Command are looking for, whoever applies for LT. We expect to see a lot of effort and information about yourself etc. So, please take your time and read over your application. Think to yourself "How could I fix this" the more time you put in your application the more it's going to look good. I will make a decision once a see improvement.
