Do not let their aggressive language affect your professionalism. 2.Communication: Politely inform the player that their behavior is not acceptable and that you are there to address the issue. Explain the rules and consequences clearly. 3.Document: Keep a record of their actions and any offensive language they use. This documentation can be useful if further actions need to be taken. 4.Warn and Explain: Issue a warning about their behavior and explain the consequences of their actions. (Can be any length) I believe I deserve this rank due to the fact I am active, hard working dedicated and a quick learner. I adapt to situations and quick decisive descions. I would firstly bring them to me and put them in a sit, If they began cursing I would gag them to prevent them from speaking, and secondly I would inform them of what they did, and why it was extremely wrong, and hand out a formal warning with and a 5 day ban after requesting it from a admin. .

(150 Word Minimum) I believe I deserve this rank for many reasons but first i got to get a couple things out of the way, First yes my warn is recent but I'm not saying its not valid but how i got warned was the kid lied to a admin he got in trouble but i did kind of player disrespect and second yes i don't have many forums post i do agree that is a big thing I'm just not big on the forums thing, alright here's the reasons why i deserve trial mod, i have past staffing experience, next i have pretty good common since, i will be fair in every situation even if the guy bring reported is my friend or if i might not like the guy, Next i feel like I'm pretty nice to everyone on the server and i try even though my last warn was for player disrespect and finally i feel like with my Past experience my kindness and my common since i feel like a could make a great trail mod. - and everyone who reads this thank you How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would First bring the person that was being report and the the guy reporting him then i would ask both of them what happened then i would ask for proof if non was given i would then check logs i would see that he was doing the damage first and there was no adverts depending on his job and were it took down after that i would take a picture of the logs then i would jail the MRDMer for 300 seconds then ask a Admin to ban him.

(Can be any length) I have been on Gaminglight for a good time now and have dedicated a lot of my time on the server. I feel like becoming staff and working my way up will help me become closer to people in the community which is something that I'm always looking forward to do. I always try to be friendly to the newer people on the server that want to learn about StarWarsRP and the server rules. I know most of the server rules but whenever there is something that is new to me I make sure to learn it and understand it fully. I just really like helping people on the server because it makes them want to keep playing knowing that when they need help, a staff member can be there to take their ticket quickly with no issues. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I'd accept the ticket and try to access the situation. If I bring them and they start getting disrespectful, I'd try to get them to chill out and try to get both sides of a situation. Obviously there wouldn't be much of an argument since they did MRDM but I'd ask the person who made the ticket for video proof but if not I'd just check logs. I'd then give them a formal warning, tell them they can make a ban appeal on the forums if they'd like to and then call a moderator who can ban them since I can't ban. After I'd try to get that ban extended to a 5 day which is the correct amount of time for MRDM.

(Can be any length) I believe I deserve this honor cause I'm heavily invested in this community. I try my hardest to help others anyway I can and want to put myself in a position where I can do more. I try to be friendly, understanding and welcoming on this server. I do not tolerate racism homophobia in any way shape or form and I quickly make a report for this infractions ASAP. I stay on late at night and can be active around 3-6 hours a night. I want to help our already amazing staff team better and make gaming light safe and kind. I know all of our rules almost by heart and make a point that everyone I talk to knows and upholds them as well. I also keep a lookout for new players who need guidance and have questions regarding the server. When I'm not busy on my RP job I love giving new people tours of the ship introducing them to our communities members and set them on the path they wish to pursue. I also love to chat with anyone when their doing the "boring" part of their RP jobs whether it's guarding checkpoints sitting around in Medbay or patrolling, I do these things because I like letting people know I'm always down to talk about whatever they might need. I want to become a moderator so I can carry this attitude into the staff team and can make a positive impact on the server. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? First I would bring them sit and freeze them in place. I would ask that they calm down and have them explain why they did what they did also I would explain why they are in a sit and explain the rule(s) they broke. If they do not calm down I will proceed to gag/mute them (depending whether they are spamming in chat as well) and explain what rule(s) they have broken. I would then give them a formal warning and have a higher staff member give them a 5 day-ban. Before giving them the ban and warn I would also inform them that they can appeal the ban and warn at https://gaminglight.com/forums/forum/674-ban-appeals/ if they believe the punishment they received is unfair. I would then keep an eye out for their appeal on the forums and give my input if needed.

(150 Word Minimum) I believe I deserve this rank because I have been playing on Gaming light for a little over 7 months now and I have been wanting to be staff for about 6/7 of those months and I believe I am fully equipped and prepared of what comes with being a PRP staff member I have read over the staff handbook exactly 18 times and read over the MOTD several times as well. I am super active on PRP(230 hours this week)also a command member in PRP which shows that I am trusted and mature. But one of the reasons I believe I deserve at least a shot at being staff on the PRP community is because I love to help people I am always trying to make someone's day better or help someone understand something for instance the other day there was a guy that was pulled to a sit and only spoke Russian not English ( even though the server is English) and the staff member asked if anyone spoke Russian and that could help him and I speak several different languages so the staff member pulled me to the sit and that got squared away and I ended up somehow making the staff member and the other guys day. Another reason is I am well at helping people calm down without yelling at them or getting hyper myself in another instance there was a gentleman who started saying stuff that he would regret later and he was just furious in general in TS so I asked him to come down to a different channel and just talk to me and he agreed and about 5 min later we were done talking and he went and apologized for the things he said and we went on about our day. Overall I feel am I knowledge and ready enough to be apart of the wonderful PRP staff team How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? First, I would bring the person that made the sit and also the person that the sit was called against. I would then let the person that called the sit talk first then i would ask the person who the sit was called on, there side and if they started cursing i would give them 2 warnings to calm down and stop if they didnt i would gag them and check logs to see if they did MASS RDM and if i see that they did i would ungag them give them one more chance to talk and if they didnt i would continue to warn them for Staff Diss | Mass RDM. I would also call for another staff member to Ban the player for 5 days.

(150 Word Minimum) I have seen Admins come and go, and I want a chance to show the server the kindness that I have. I have stayed with this community because I love it. It's a fun community full of good people and I want to help keep it a good community. I get on at night when little staff are on and that's when everyone is breaking the rules the most so I want to be there for the people who want to keep the realism at night. I have been with the community for 5 years and this community is what got me back into Gmod and Police RPs again. I want to be a staff member because during my time playing I think I've gotten to learn how things run not only on the server but as a whole community. During my time I've read the rules extensively. I want to be staff because it's a task for me and I like to help people and this would be a fun way for me to better my experience. The reason I should be accepted to the staff team is that I have a very confident and dedicated personality and would strive to do anything to help the community grow as a whole, by taking my time to carefully assess situations is one of my strong attributes in which I currently hold. I also have gained a large amount of experience playing on the server while also adjusting to its large player base and community aspects. If they are cursing at me They are showing that they don't care about the server so I would make sure following the chain of command if I can ban them depending on how many warns but minimum would be a warn

(150 Word Minimum) : The reason I would love to become a staff member Is because I understand all of the rules (I've read the MOTD several times) I am on from like 9 AM EST - 12AM EST Everyday and late at night there are not many admins on and I could help out the staff! Plus with my previous experience of being staff I already know all of the commands and the menu interface, how to accept staff reports, etc. I have a good mic and good headphones so people can hear me clearly and I can hear them clearly! All I want is a chance How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? : First I would bring the person RDMing to a roof as well as the person who reported him, If the RDMer (lets call him subject 1) Started to cuss me out I would calmly tell him to calm down 3 times if he does not comply I will gag him for the time being and if he tried to run I would freeze him, then I would calmly explain to him what he did. After, I would listen to the reporter (lets call him subject 2) First I would ask subject 2 if he has any video proof if not then I would check damage logs to see if he has damaged many people if he has I would then ungag him and let him share his side of the story, Once I obtain evidence of him Mass RDMing I will give him two formal warnings 1. Disrespecting staff 2. Mass RDM and subsequently get a higher up to ban him for 5 days

(150 Word Minimum) History I have been active on this community for a long time now, I feel as if I should give back and help those enjoy the server as much as I do, without the annoyance of minges. Referring to my staff history, I have a lot of time spent on staff positions in all kinds of roleplay areas. If you want a begin and end to my staff positions, refer to my profile description on steam. But most important of them all, my experience in DarkRP. It's the most relevant staff experience I have compared to this server, minus it's usual 110+ players... Skills in Staffing and Theoretical Dedication To cut straight to the point, I'm efficient at taking and handling sits, as well as maintaining a professional and respectful attitude. And theoretically, if I do recieve a position within the staff team, I will ensure that I am on consistently and actually 'Administrating', instead of ignoring my duties as a staff member. I also do not need to be babysit and won't cause drama or issues within the community. I work to enhance RP and to help the rule abiding player. Knowledge of PoliceRP As I have stated above with my join date, I have been on many different departments, some having been removed. I will be able to act as a guide to many players with any questions regarding departments and basic roleplay questions. Having been in, BSI (Removed), NSA (Removed), SWAT, SRT, EMS, PD, State Police and Dispatch (when it first came out). Most having different purposes and roles. Begin by muting and or gagging the person, which usually is followed by their desperate attempts to run from the sit, so freeze them if it does occur. Begin to explain what they did and why it is negative to the RP environment. Before continuing with the warning process, I will ask if they have any questions or conerns, unmuting them for a short period if they have anything legitimate to say. Then as I said before, continue to punishment.

I think I have a good reputation in PoliceRP because I always try to be friendly and I always try to RP to the best of my abilities, such as always trying to actually try to save the hostage in situations and trying to do raids tactically instead of rushing in. To start I would bring them to a roof where they would be unable to disrupt anybody. If they were cursing at me I would try to wait to see if they burn themselves out and in the meantime check the LOGS to make sure I have the right person. If they continue to curse at me I would gag them. I would then explain to them that they will be receiving a Formal Warning and they are being banned for 5+ Days. I would then contact an Admin+ and ask them to ban said person for 5+ Days.

I've been on the server a couple of times early in the morning and I have seen people saying racial slurs, RDMing, minging, etc. I believe that if I get the rank of Trial Moderator, I will help the server in a tremendous way. Using my prior staff knowledge, I will surely keep the server out of harm’s way. I know some of you may look down upon the fact that I have 19 warnings, but I can assure you that most of those were from back in the day when I didn't at all think about what I was doing. I was just mainly screwing around on the servers until one day I realized that Gaminglight as a whole is such a loving, caring, and engaging community. I'm so thankful for all of the friends I have made. I love to treat everyone equally, even if they are being the biggest pain in my ass, I will treat them the way I would treat any other person. I want to be there to help all the people who are on the server and feel helpless or are just downright upset because someone is breaking a rule. First off, I would start out the sit as usual by looking at the report details. I would then find a suitable location for a staff sit (a room away from RP) and bring the person that was reported and the person that reported the RDM. I would have both people explain their side of the story, but if I was constantly being cussed at, I would gag the person using the !gag command and if necessary, I would mute them so they would not be able to type in chat. I would tell them to stop, ungag them, and if they continue, keep them gagged for the rest of the sit. I would then check the logs to actually see what happened. If it shows the person mass RDM’d, I would warn the person for MRDM l Staff Diss l Appeal @ Gamingligt.com. If they continue to act up or do not give a reason for the mass cursing after being asked about it, I would get an Admin+ to ban the player for 5+ days.

I have been a long time player and have been able to watch the server grow and be part of many situations both good and bad and I would like to turn other player’s experiences into mainly good. I would first bring the player to a secluded area away from other players most likely a roof. If the player is trying to run from the sit I would Freeze or Jail them. If the player was cussing towards me or other players they would receive a gag this would not only decline vocal conflict but also give the player some time to calm down, afterward I would talk to the player to collect some information if they are calm enough to provide. I would then inform them that they will be receiving a warning and a jail for 300 seconds. I will give them information on where to read the motd and also knowledge to where if they felt the warning was invalid that they can post on the forums. I will then make it known to the other staff that this player has been warned and to keep a keen eye on them.

(150 Word Minimum) Why I deserve the rank of T-mod is because I have experience as a SA on a different server as well as holding a higher ups position for one server and owner of 2 other servers I have shut down due to players wanting me to open a server on a different game. For my Head admin I was doing very good but the server dropped because of not enough players that the owner wanted. I have never really done anything bad as a staff member and I always put in 130% of my time into working with other staff and members of servers. The only time I have not been made a higher staff was in synergy as a SA it was because I had played the server for 3 years and lost interest in the clone wars server they were running. If I was to become a T-mod I would be putting in the most of my time that I could possibly use. Even though the server does not like me because I was playing as a PED well the thing is that PED was a group of people that were friends and they did not want me to get in trouble for the things that they did (told me last day they were there.) they just let me join so I was able to play with a group of people as the days went on they kept getting in trouble and I was going to leave then they were banned. I did not want to have myself associated with them and they fully understood. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: Since I (Hopefully) will be a trial mod my resources are limited, but what I will do is first freeze them, bring them up to a sit preferably on top of a building to prevent distracting further RP, I'd calmly ask(type in my situation) the RDMER to lower their tone and to calm down(If they were cursing at me), if they would continue to bluntly disrespect and show no signs of calming down/complying with me, I will proceed to gag them, after that I'll refer to the MOTD and explain what RDM is and then inform them of what they are being warned for and why. , I'd continue to issue them the warn and call a higher ranking admin to issue the 5 day ban (Because in staff handbook Mass RDM is Formal Warning+5day ban).

So first off I would do !jailtp <player> to make sure they are not RDMing no one else around me and then if they keep cursing at me I would go ahead and try to get them to cooperate. If it keeps happening then I would gag them and then bring along the player who submitted the report and get his side of the story. Once we are done with that I would ungag the him/her that is jailed and get his/her side of the story. If he keeps cursing and not wanting to cooperate I would gag them again look at logs and get a view of confirmation that he was mass RDMing. After that and I have a confirmation of him/her mass RDMing I'm going to explain to him that he needs to follow the rules and that mass RDMing is not acceptable at all and then let him/her know he will be receiving a warn by doing (!warn <player> Mass RDM) and then he will be receiving a 10,000 second minge by doing (!minge <player> 10000) and if it keeps following up of the same person doing something and it is bad enough I would give him/her a ban. I would then let him/her know he needs to follow the rules and read the !motd and is welcome to enjoy the server and have a fun time RP and then I will tell him/her to have a good day and continue my job on duty.

(150 Word Minimum) I have had lots of experience on this server and staff experience on other servers sort of like this. I understand almost all of the ULX commands and other commands. I've played on the server for quite some time and I have gotten a good understanding of the rules on this server. I frequently read over the MOTD so I can memorize it and I know most of the MOTD which can help a lot with staffing to reduce the time of having to read over the MOTD a few times during a sit. I have been in many sits (From reporting people not me getting in trouble) and I have a good understanding of how staff sits work. I am extremely active on the server and every chance I have been able to get on my computer I have tried to get on the server. I get over 100+ hours on the server every ~2 weeks or so. I really enjoy playing on this server and I have dedicated lots of time to the server and I think I could dedicate more time being staff and helping other players. Sometimes staff can get a little slow at night because most of the staff is off but usually, I am on pretty late and I could be helping those players while on duty. I am usually on later than earlier due to school but when school gets out I 90% of the time I get on the server during rush hour which would be good if I was staff because I would be able to help handle the reports during the time of the rush hour which would help other staff members not have a huge amount of strain on them. Well, if someone is mass RDMing I would teleport them to me, jail them and then I would check PLogs to see how many people he killed. If he killed enough that would go under "Mass RDM" I would ask someone to give him a 4-hour ban/Or a 10,000 if a higher-up permits one of those.
