Ho boy, here we go. I didn’t see me leaving this early, after all this is fairly early in my career on this server. I digress, I can understand this may seem super out of the blue but there are some reasons why I’m leaving here and I’m not going to just leave you all in the dark. But first, a couple of words from the heart. December 2nd, 2019 - The day I first joined Research. I started as everyone else did, a humble little Junior Researcher. Couldn’t tell which was up, confused out of my mind, and treaded extremely light. I tried so very hard not to make any mistakes, I think the command was getting tired of answering my questions every thirty seconds. Then I completed my first test and I took off from there, still completely clueless but as I spent more and more time in the server I fell in love with Research. So much so I couldn’t play any other branch and have fun, not even today, not to say others aren’t good in their way. I still remember a particular memory in general. I was an Associate Researcher and I was talking to one of my friends about the Chain of Command, I believe the conversation went a little something like, Friend- “Bro, the job Foundation Doctor is the lowest job that gets a Level 4 keycard.” Me- “Really, damn that’s pretty high up there.” F- “Alpha-1 has like four jobs that get a Level 4 or 5 keycard out of the gate.” M- “Yeah, I don’t think I’ll ever get that far.” Wow, so shit changes I guess. Yeah, I never thought I’d make it this far, when I look back I see a bunch of great memories with a bunch of great people but I can’t stay any longer. Personally, my online life is pretty great, but my actual real life is in shambles. My mental health, as well as my physical health, is very poor, I’ve been neglecting myself in favor of a position in a video game which is stupid of me to do. So henceforth for that reason, I am formally submitting my 48 Hour Notice at this time. I’d like to dedicate this next section to these amazing people I’ve met along the way. Hoovy- To you, I thank you for my chance to join the Event Team. After a while, I eventually made my way to Senior ET Member and I’ve been able to create some amazing roleplay, all thanks to you. Best ET Leader Rang- Cool dude, let me into the staff team and I eventually made it to Admin. Keep Micro-ing anyone who leaves the doors open. Best kiwi man. Beanz- Best O5 right now, you were ecstatic when I got my Foundation Doctor promotion. I consider you one of my closest friends on this server. Good luck with the O5 stuff! Weiss- By far the greatest HOR research has had, even if I haven’t seen any others in action. Keep Research great for me and everyone else in it. Kuma- Really enjoy playing games with you and the other Researchers, I loved your Minecraft server. Consider doing something like that again, it was great! Soviet- First and best AHOR, I’m down to watch more anime don’t you say for a second that I am a weeb. Dr. Watkin- Greatest roleplayer ever, seriously. You made some extremely great RP experiences for anyone who was around you, and now I guess I’m joining you in retirement. Light- Cool Alto Clef man, never plays anything other than FiveM. Hope it’s treating you well dude. Tomato- Legendary pings man, good Foundation Doctor. Haha funny pings go *badum* Starstep- Good luck on Foundation Doctor. You are great with your critical thinking and your hyper-typing speeds, cannot wait to see your career in Senior Command. Rhodes- Congratz on Foundation Doctor, you’ve been here for a while, you deserve it. Do me proud in Senior Command. Karen B- The only good Karen in existence. Great work on the training video and get active! Squash- Pretty much tutored you into Command, looks like you turned out alright all things considered. Good luck with the rest of your career. Jack(The DOL one)- You are the reason I haven’t resigned sooner, you picked me up and set me straight many doubtful times. Do DOL well and please for the love of God play with Land and me more. Sinnik- I truly and honestly think you will go very far within Site Admin, keep going bro and get more active on ET! Great HOS man. Crabbo- FrosyDog kinda sus, should vote him out. In all seriousness, you a cool dude. Keep omicron great! Mike- Cutest E11 VCMDR ever. In all seriousness, you cool dude. For the love of God stop making MikeXKami fanart. Kami- Your work in Omicron was extremely great, I’m surprised to hear you resigned. Get back to CI RND HOR for me and keep RND great! I’ll still be around, in the TeamSpeak, and from whatever discord I’m not kicked or leave from. I don’t know when or if I’ll come back, so for possibly the last time. Except this time it's not just another LOA because I'm burnt out or anything else. I was contacted by my the Medical Professional of my choice and I was told that I have some sort of condition that makes me more susceptible to the negative effects of prolonged screen time, such as twitching, seizing and seizures (its not epilepsy though). I made an LOA a few weeks ago because I was experiencing the early stage effects of this and didn't quite fix it well. Lately it's been getting worse. Upon contacting her again, I was prescribed: some pills that wont arrive until a couple weeks from now due to COVID, blue light prescription glasses that also wont arrive soon, and only spending two hours maximum on any kind of screen. So in this I will most likely not be able to connect to the server at all. I hope the recent LOA(s) wont hurt this one, but it is under severe circumstance.
