Honestly, this was long time coming for me at-least, ever since I joined my only goal was to make it to HCMD and that was it. It only took me about a year and half but I made it to HCMD! On a for real note. I've talked to Fizzy about this ever-since my LOA ended, and I just can't keep up with the server no more and I will be leaving CI as a whole to focus on school, my new job!, and most importantly my family and friends. Thank you soo so much to Gamma+, Site Admin+ for letting me go into HCMD you guys are really awesome. Everyone below means something truly something special to me and I just wanna let you know this server and everyone I met will truly be a great memory even when I leave. Enuz, Coltable, Aleks, Orange, Lefty, and Dang: Every single one of these guys made CI very enjoyable for me ever since I got Command and are the reason why I never left after reaching command and is why I came back to the server about 10 months ago. Ignis: One of the greatest comebacks in CI. He had risen from the bottom of the ranks and will now be serving as one of highest ranks in CI. You go bro. Warren: Thank you bro, you were a real friend to me and it was honestly fun having you by my side all the time. Thanks dude. Alexx, Deuce, Botez, Toaster, Diablo: You guys are all mutes and I hope you guys know if I made it you can too. Thanks guys. 1. What is your IGN? Sovereign Protector Ved Kennede (Steel) 2. What Regiment are you applying for? High Inquisitor 3. Why do you want to be a commander of this branch? Honestly, I don't even know where to start. My journey was long and arduous, from my humble start as a CDT and climbing my way through the ranks within the Royal Guard, it was nothing but exciting and satisfying to create new friends as well as guide the people around me; creating a brighter future. Once I reached VCMDR+, it not only allowed me to oversee and actively engage with the Royal Guard, but also Purge and IQ as a whole. While, yes I did not have the authority to remove an IQ or Purge, I've garnered respect from not only The Grand Inquisitor, Commanders & Vice Commanders to be given the authority necessary to ensure everything runs smoothly. One thing I had found very reassuring and also heartwarming was that IQ, Purge, and Royal Guard of all ranks felt comfortable enough to come to me for just about anything. Many feel as if I am a trustworthy friend and colleague; not simply because of the way I interact with others, but because of my knowledge and experience on the server during my time as an Inquisitorius Command member and current staff member. I hold everyone in the highest regards and my respect for everyone will be thorough and true. One of the many reasons why I would like to become the inaugural High Inquisitor, is that I find aiding Inquisitorius battalions in their duties and general roleplay to be enjoyable, to a great extent. There have been moments where I (as the Sovereign Protector) have been asked to assist with IQ or Purge by not only The Grand Inquisitor, but also other members of Inquisitorius Command and have shown that they hold trust and some form of respect that I hold dear to me. With this newly added position, I will be able to be more proactive in lending a helping hand in Inquisitorius matters, rather than just the Royal Guard. I am eager to coordinate with the commanders of IQ to keep the rosters updated, ensuring simulations are punctually occurring, and the IQ battalions are running as efficiently as possible. I've dreamed for the opportunity to be more than what I'm currently restricted to and give my support anywhere that is required. Myan is one man overseeing the entirety of IQ, so with the possibility that I am accepted as the new High Inquisitor, providing assistance to Myan will be a duty as well as a pleasure. Adding on to my previous statement, I will be able to support/guide my fellow colleagues within the Inquisitorius branches and amongst the ISD as a whole, enhancing the overall quality of roleplay and efficiency. Finally, being in the position of High Inquisitor allows me to introduce more roleplay scenarios for all of Inquisitorius and other members and battalions of the ISD. I'm able and capable of doing so much more in the position of High Inquisitor because not only would I oversee IQ as a whole, but I would also be a General Imperial High Command member of the ISD. 4. How much game time do you have on the server? What is the Main Purpose of a commander for a branch? The main purpose of a commander for a branch is to essentially ensure everything is operational. One of the most important duties as a commander for a branch is to make sure you have a solid command & officer core to assist in any and all battalion matters and to also solidify the integrity of the battalion. During my tenure as the Royal Guard Sovereign Protector, I've essentially reformed the entire battalion with the support of those around me. The first thing I worked on as a commander was to solidify our Officer Core to ensure those who are working hard and actively engaged within the battalion are getting promoted and rewarded for their dedication, loyalty, and hard work overall. The next thing I worked on once my Officer team was stable was gathering NCO's. My purpose as a Commander was to ensure that the "Then stabilized Officer Core" had worked with cadets consistently to inevitably form the NCO's that we have to this day in order for the officers to then pass this responsibility fully over to NCO's so that Officers are then able to focus on the NCO's while NCO's then focused on forming and scouting potential future NCO's. As a commander for a branch/battalion is to also ensure that any complaints, issues, problems and or concerns for your battalion are seen acknowledged and acted upon as swiftly as possible and issued broad guidance or even consequences if absolutely necessary. Something I've worked on a tremendous amount is battalion relations. I, alongside other IQ command attempt to host really fun simulations, events, and even trainings with rewards. It's very important to the commander and battalion to have good relations with other battalions and battalion leaders to ensure maximum efficiency as a brotherhood of Inquisitors working together with one common goal; to server the empire to the best our ability. If I'm graciously elected to server this ISD as the newly introduced High Inquisitor, it would be my honor to help ensure that all IQ branches are fully functional and operational the best of it's capability. In this scenario, I would also be Imperial High Command and would love to do anything in any way shape or form possible to help out any battalion, commanders, vice commanders, officers, and battalion members possible. Overall the main purpose of being a Commander for your branch or battalion is to ensure that day to day operations are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible, as well as upholding positive relations with other battalions and ensuring that those within your branch or battalion are satisfied and eager to work to their best capability at any and all times. A commander should be someone that people can count on to lead them through whatever obstacles are thrown their way and should be able to be trusted. 6. Why should we trust you to be a commander? For starters, I've been in Inquistorius Command for nearly 4 months now, and I'd like to believe I've done a really good job. I've seriously enjoyed helping out the Royal Guard battalion flourish in all ways possible. Since I've become VCMDR+, I've not only had the privilege's of bettering RG, but IQ & Purge as a whole with other command members whenever the opportunity was graciously presented. During my tenure I've come to learn a lot about how Inquistorius branches operate and function on a day to day basis. I've put forth as much effort as my body physically allows me to exert into bettering the ISD as a whole. I've had the pleasure of working through the ranks within RG to inevitably become the rank I am today. I interact with RG, IQ & Purge pretty much everyday and enjoy it more then anything else imaginable. Both RG & IQ/Purge have been nothing but a brotherhood of talented, hard working, and dedicated individuals with common goals. Before the recent LOA that I had just come off of, I was on pretty much every other day if not everyday, and enjoyed every second of it. I look forward more then anything else (If I am to be accepted as the next High Inquisitor), to assist Myan and other IQ command in anything and everything. I look forward to assisting other High Command members with anything that they may need help with as well. All I want is what's best for the ISD, and everyone amongst in the end. There's so much more that I'd love to say but there's no real way to put into words how I'm feeling about the possibility that I could become the first sitting newly added High Inquisitor. What are you suggesting? For CI to be able to destroy the generator during a raid. It would no longer be decided as a roll, but instead as a holdout in the generator room for 5 or so minutes, giving MTF the chance of stopping CI from destroying it. How would this change better the server? It would give CI the ability to destroy the generator again, giving more content to them in a way of a holdout scenario inside the generator room. It would also give more content to people that play SCP's in a way as they are able to breach if CI successfully breaks it. Also gives MTF more content as they will be able to get the chance to stop CI from breaking it. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? The people that would most disadvantaged of would be MTF, as they are the people that have to re-contain the SCPs that get breached if CI successfully breaks the generator. That, and the non-combatant classes would have to be more careful as the power goes out if MTF aren't able to stop Ci's attempt. Who would this change mostly benefit? Mostly this will benefit both CI players and SCP players on the server. The enjoyability for CI players to be able to more things to do during an ongoing raid, and more content to be able to do being more player oriented. As for the SCP players it allows them to be able to be breached if CI is able to successfully destroy the generator. I suggest making it a situation like the nuke: CI will need the CI General perms + an O5 Council members perms to destroy the Foundation generator. There is no roll needed and is to be issued in cases where MTF heavily out number CI/SCP's. The O5 Council will call the shot as they are a trusted member of the foundation while still over looking and monitoring CI. Keep in mind it would most likely result in a nuke event happening and so a RP Reset, Knowing this I'm sure the O5 Council will only give CI/SCP's such power in rare cases example being maybe a MTF meeting day. Overall I quite like the idea and it adds a major new Role-play event such as the nuke event to our server.

I've also been trying to be active on maintenance recently, and I've been trying to show it VIA making activity logs, clock-ins, etc. [The following questions are intended to test your response and ability as command. You must answer 2 (two) of the questions, though you may answer all 3 if you wish.] 8-1. A Utility Trainee has escaped the training room and is refusing to return, how would you handle this? First, I would try PM'ing the Trainee to come back to the training room, if he/she wouldn't do so I would call an AOS on him/her and if they still wouldn't be found, I would probably call staff to demote them off the job. 8-2. Some enlisted members have begun RDMing each other in bunks as a way to pass time, what would you do in this situation? I would tell them to stop RDM'ing each other, however, if they would continue doing so, I would inform them that they will be receiving a strike if they're a Maintenance Adept or below, if it would be higher, I would do a punishment request on the discord. 8-3. A Junior Maintenance is breaking multiple SOP rules such as improperly using tools and disregarding DEFCON rules, what are your next steps? I spend a lot of time scrolling around in Discord on my phone, so with this unhealthy time using activity I feel like I could help a decent bit with keeping the Discord support ticket waiting time low and completed in a timely manner. I Have been one of the most active members of shock recently and have been on every day. I have basically dedicated all my time on the server to shock and don't want that to change I always try my best and work hard for shock and want to one day become a renowned member of Shock. I am a very dedicated member of shock and have always tried to be serious when it comes to shock, I try my hardest on shock because it is my favorite Battalion and it is my goal to become a high rank in it. I have never gotten a strike and never plan to, I always try to listen to orders and do everything the way it is supposed to be done. +/- support leaning - support Personally its a double edged sword it will increase the amount of content for combative branches while practically locking Research, maintenance, medical etc. in their bunks until the generator is fixed. However if regulated it could be nice to have something different. Like it being only able to be broken when there are say 10-15 MTF on and increase the time to like 8 minutes instead of 5 since if MTF is in LCZ it could take like 3-4 mins to get to EZ leaving only a single minute to fight said CI

-Support We all know how mech raids typically go and this would be exactly like them. It's super easy to hole up in a room with one entrance and just spam fire into a choke to the point where just getting to generator room would be an instant win for CI. Also, this would be another case of a situation where MTF wins nothing besides "oh, your site isn't screwed, congrats."

Positive Support The reason I am + Supporting this is because of what Steel did that no one from what I have believe had done. To get the little stuff out of the way - He is an awesome Commander, he knows his crap and when he needs to get serious in situations. - He is great to talk to, but he does like his CoC. - Very understanding of everyone - Overall a pretty cool guy He has done some of these things from my memory (Don't got very good one to remember EVERYTHING) and understands people. He knows what to do in certain situations and he likes it when you man up to mistakes and do what you need to do correctly. BUT what he did was the main reason I feel this man deserves this. He brought a Battalion which had no Command to do much and the battalion literally ALMOST DIED or did DIE, but Steel was extremely dedicated and he brought this battalion from the ground up. He worked hard to make this battalion great and has done a lot for us as a whole. I see no one else fit in my opinion, only people who are close enough. Until some IQ high ranking brings a dead battalion like RG was when Steel did it is when I might support them. Onto the elephant in the room about his activity, what is one of the main rules of GamingLight? In Real Life always comes first. Steel was dealing with issues in family, business and other stuff which are In Real Life problems and people need to deal with it. If you feel like that isn't a reason, then my question is give me 3 good reason it isn't. Now onto him Minging on his CC. I don't really remember him constantly being on his CC minging. He has been on it a good bit of times, but I've somewhat seen him more on Sovereign Protector job. As well as the minging, I don't see him break any rules and most people in this community is chill with Steel and from time to time we need to have some F U N or else we will just be B O R E D all the dang time. Steel makes sure to watch what he does when he is joking around. As well if you hate on someone for having a CC and minging on it, you might just not know how to relax and have fun for a while. Steel's sort of minging isn't like a extreme minge, but more of a good type of minge who doesn't break server rules, but wants people to have fun. The times he was on were some great time within the Royal Guard's and I will miss him as our Vice Sovereign, but I feel like he deserves this position a lot.

support Its a amazing idea and sounds super fun, however, this would drastically increase the length of code reds because of all the SCP breaches this would cause. If code reds were longer, research and tech would hurt. It is hard to predict how often CI would win these little holdout since its never been done before but if MTF won them more often then CI then it wouldn't be that big of a issue for research and tech. There should be a cooldown on it, maybe 1 attempt a day or something large since a mass breach every hour or 2 hours would be hell for MTF research and utility. OOOOOOOOOOOO I didn't know that... my bad. +Support

-Support No SteamID. You were banned for DDOS and Dox threats against a staff member and the server which both are blacklistable offences. At time stamp 0:50 in the below video, you can hear "I'm gonna shut this whole fuckin server down" which would count towards the DDOS reason, and 3:42 saying "It's all fun and games till I have Dark's IP" which would count as a Dox threat. As an RCU main i can somewhat infer that the problem isn't much in the gun itself but the specific class that uses it. TRT's with their increased move speed can get in your face and shred you to smithereens. However, RCU can't do that making the gun much more balanced in our hands, as RCUs have to rely on surprise attacks to dump a magazine. And it still doesn't matter due to the extreme recoil of the gun making us miss half our shots. Unlike TRT's we can't stay in point blank range. It's hard to switch out guns for us due to us wanting balance, (to make CI and SCP's happy) so if you really want a TRT nerf i suggest requesting a gun change. But that's my opinion and i enjoy breads idea nonetheless.

In my own opinion it should have almost no recoil but the trade off can be lower ammo and damage while still having a high fire rate. Plus lower ammo allows more experimentation with other values to make each weapon unique.

Ammo count should stay as is and taking off 6 damage per hit seems too harsh, that extra .1 off recoil would not compensate for the additional 18 (potential) damage per clip knocked off, on top of the 120 (potential) damage per clip nerf that Bread initially proposed. I think Bread got the numbers right.

I'm surely not the only one to experience this when others are trying to have fun and no one files a report, yet we still get pulled, To me it seems like communism and tyranny from some of the admins/mods. there are a handful of admins/mods that are awesome and make the server enjoyable but the ones that don't make it enjoyable seems like too much "power" is given to them especially when they are immature with this power. Me and the capones made this server fun and yes at times we were annoying but that's the fun in it. its a roleplay police game its funny when people sit in the back of a car and talk back to cops look at streams that's makes people watch the streams, laugh and have a great time. what's the point of being so struct where fun gets taken away and the server becomes boring and controlled. i never threatened ddos against the server i said the serve would get shutdown due to all the reports and everyone leaving. the server is fun and enjoyable and lots of people feel the same way i do. thank you i would also be willing to speak to someone one on one about this situation
