Well, I never knew when this day would come, but I knew it had to come eventually. As time goes on, different needs appear in life, and my current life's needs have dictated that I be able to focus my attention where it is needed. I'm trying to switch careers and move to a new state and hopefully get a new life situation going soon, and all of that is taking one heck of an amount of energy and concentration away from what I used to be able to put into this community. For this reason, with a heavy heart I must take my leave. I cannot begin to describe how fulfilled I feel from the time I got to spend participating in, leading and shaping this community. I feel like my entire experience from the beginning to the end was exactly what I wanted, starting as a lowly maintenance employee and slowly rising to where I am now in the shadowy O5 council. I feel like i've experienced everything I possibly can at every level of foundation employment, and formed countless memories and roleplay scenarios that I will treasure forever. The friends i've made and lost along the way will also never be forgotten!!! My final parting message would be for everyone to just remember how amazing of a place this really can be when we get right down to it. We all ended up here out of a nerdish love for fantasy scifi literature in the form of the SCP Archives, and whenever we're online, together we all work to emulate that feeling of being part of a shadowy organization that controls dangerous objects. There is no experience quite like that anywhere else on earth. (Sure there's other SCP servers, but they aren't quite like ours!). So just remember whenever you have drama or beef with others, consider why we're all really here, and try to carry on that spirit to keep this as one of the coolest SCP Servers and community to be part of! Hello everyone, I know this is probably the last thing you all wanted to see but given circumstances I have been thinking about this for a while. I've only been here for a couple months and have given my all to security. There are great people on here from all walks of life. I want command to know me leaving comes from no personal animosity towards anyone. This is solely my own decision. I also want to personally apologize to all of secuirty. Me leaving at this time will cause problems. However I see it as another Era in security and another hurdle for everyone to overcome. Lore Name: Dr. John Henry Watt Rank: Associate Researcher SCP: SCP-999 Idea: Could a portion of SCP-999 be removed to function as a tracking device? As it may attempt to reform with the main form of 999 serving as a personalised makeshift compass. Background Research: SCP-999 has been percieved to modify its body to squeeze through gaps, becoming shorter or thinner. As well as physical damage caused to SCP-999 such as the incident with SCP-███ [Level 4 clearance required] Hypothesis: This could potentially serve as a way of rescuing SCP-999 in the event of his kidnapping during a CI raid, although even if this does work. Testing will need to be done on its effective range. Observations (What Happened During Test): I approached SCP-999 outside of the safe class objects containment area and proceeded to scoop a sample of his gelatinous skin, and place it inside a petri dish to serve as a container for this "compass" I observed the compass and it did indeed track SCP-999, I spent 2 hours following SCP-999 around the facility marking range traveled with a meter stick. The effective range appears to be 60m. Unfortunately this solution has a small life span, it appears SCP-999 regenerates his orange slime if instances of his slime cannot return to him, this resulted in the old slime becoming inert and losing its tracking ability. This could prove useful if SCP-999 was ever to grow, which is suggested by his infant-like behaviour. Evidence/Visual Stimuli: [Photo Taken with standard research recording equipment on 07/02/████] Attached at the bottom of this test log is a photograph of an inert sample of SCP-999's slime Conclusion: I believe SCP-999's regenerative effect causes the inertion of removed slime, hence making the tracking system I proposed difficult for now. Still if we know a CI raid is in progress and can make it to 999 to recieve a sample it could prove instrumental in retrieving him quickly. In summery, my hypothesis was somewhat correct. Give an example of a mega event: The mega event would start off with a plane from the GOC flying near the foundation, The plane would be transporting various newly found SCP object's that needed to be transported over to the GOC base for termination, Eventually, A MTF unit played by another Event Team would shoot down the plane, Causing it to begin crashing, The plane would send out a distress signal message to the rest of the GOC and then the plane would crash at Gate A, Killing the pilot, The MTF unit played by another Event Team would then confiscate and bring the newly found SCP object's into the foundation and store them within the foundation, After the GOC receive the distress signal that came from the plane, They would begin arming up and preparing for a full scale invasion of the foundation to take back the stolen SCP object's that the MTF had stolen, After the preparations for the attack on Site-10 had been made, The GOC would launch a massive attack on the foundation with a single objective: Take back the stolen SCP objects. Depending on how the raid's go, There is many way's for this event to go. If they successfully retrieve the stolen SCP objects, They would begin leaving the foundation, After they all left the foundation, They would send in a GOC diplomat to attempt to get the foundation to agree to cease fire to stop the conflict between them and the foundation. If the foundation accepts the cease-fire, The GOC would proudly leave the site, Knowing that they secured a truce with the foundation, And reclaimed their SCP object's that they were transporting. Should the foundation refuse to stop the conflict between them and GOC for any reason, The GOC would attempt to raid the foundation again, This time, Attempting to steal the SCP object's contained in Anomalous Item's containment, If that raid succeeds as well, The GOC would leave and head back to the GOC base, With all of the SCP's in AIC stolen ONTOP the SCP object's they had in the first place. If either the first or second raid were to end horribly for the GOC, The GOC would flee the foundation and take temporary refugee in a house in the forest to recover from their losses in all the fighting, And the foundation would then begin to plan to launch a counter assault on the GOC. Should the counter assault on the GOC succeed, The GOC force's would surrender and hand over the SCP objects, And all the GOC member's in the raid would then be subject to public execution. If the counter assault on the GOC failed, The GOC would flee from the site entirely while all in terrible condition, Barely surviving all the fighting. No matter which route the event decides to go on, The event will be a big a bloody conflict between the GOC and the Foundation. What do you consider to be the best event you have ever created: I believe that the best event I made was a event where, A shape-shifting Alien infiltrated the site and began taking multiple forms, Such as crates, Tables, Chairs, and ETC, It also began to start taking the form's of other people, However; The human form's that were taken were NOT perfect, So you could still spot if the person was the shape-shifting alien if you looked hard enough. But for a while, Not everyone or everything could truly be trusted, This ended up causing paranoia and a wild goose chase from the foundation, Attempting to find and track down the shape-shifting alien, After it was caught, It was captured and stored within Temp Euclid. I would love to be given the opportunity of Commander for my favorite branch on Gaminglight ImperialRP, Shock. I would restore Shock to its great days which I've already began the new era, training 15 new trainees in a matter of three days. I've already shown my respect for this great battalion, having 12 shock on at once for the first time in a long time, as well as I've proved my extreme activity, getting on at any chance I have in my schedule. Due to my experience already as Shock Commander, I have proved already that I can revive battalions back to their great states, doing the same with the Starfighter Corps, recording up to 22 people on at once. 4. There are many purposes for a Commander of a branch, alike making a regiment respect you, updating all the documents which I've done multiple times, keeping sub-regiments active, which I can do very well as I was lead for both sub-regiments before and I know how to run them perfectly. Another purpose for a Commander is to keep a battalion active. Your Full Name & Rank: Senior Researcher recon Why I want to pursue specializing in studying biologically hazardous materials: I want to pursue the study of biologically hazardous materials because ever since I joined the foundation’s research branch I have always been trying to get a greater understanding of the SCPs we contain at the site and being a hazardous material researcher would help me learn a lot more about the SCPs. The SCPs I always wanted to learn more about were biological SCPs like SCP 049, SCP 008, SCP 035, and most recently, SCP 610. I like studying these SCPs a lot more because specifically 008 and 610, these SCPs are not entities and are more viruses that want to grow and expand. SCP 049-2’s autopsy showed that the creature Is almost fully hallow on the inside with no internal organs or blood vessels. I conclude that SCP 049-2 is only made up of skin, muscle and bone. What happened during your experiment?: I went to SCP 008 and took a small sample of it in a little vile. I then went to SCP 049 and asked it if it knew anything about SCP 008. SCP 049 responded with no, it had never heard of the SCP. I explained to SCP 049 that SCP 008 is a virus that reanimates people. After the explanation, I gave SCP 049 the vile of SCP 008. SCP 049 examined the vile and after examination, threw it on the ground. SCP 049 became aggressive reporting to me that the virus had nothing to do with him. Maintenance was called to clean up SCP 008. Hazmat suits were worn through the entirety of testing. I conclude that SCP 008 is in no way linked to the pestilence. After agreeing to the terms, SCP 049 turned the D class into an instance of SCP 049-2. SCP 049-2 was then taken to SCP 008’s containment cell. SCP 049-2 was placed in the room with SCP 008. SCP 049-2 was inside the room with SCP 008 for approximately 2 minutes with no visible signs of change. I conclude that SCP 049-2 is not affected by SCP 008. After SCP 049 turned the D class into SCP 049-2, SCP 049-2 was extracted and moved to SCP 035’s containment cell. SCP 049-2 was placed inside of SCP 035’s Containment cell. After an estimated 1 minute, SCP 049-2 approached SCP 035 and placed SCP 035 on its face. SCP 035-1 then turned to face the researchers and decomposed shortly after. What happens when a subject exposed to SCP-1025 orders and drinks "LIFE" from SCP-294? What happened during your experiment? D-class died, 2nd D-class got lung cancer, and life didn't cure it. After exposing the first D-class to SCP:1025 they spontaneously combusted after reading SCP: 1025. The second D class personnel survived reading SCP-1025, after being escorted to medbay. He was medically examined and was diagnosed with lung cancer, he was then administered "LIFE" from SCP-1025. Subjected reported feeling "good" but upon another examination, the tumours around his lungs had not disappeared. He was administered class A Amnestic and escorted back to D-Block I have concluded that 1025's anomalous properties can overwrite some of 294's healing properties, although this requires more testing with more of 1025's ailments is required. -JR Moonrose

I want to be a CI Apha Operative'

Hey guys I know it’s been a long while it here but sadly here it is. You may know me as altair and I got up to a 2LT in CI and CPL in E11. It was a sure as hell a fun time in both branches. It was around October I started to deal with a lot of stuff. I went through a lot of mental stuff going on in my head and started to take it seriously. I went to many different doctors and I am now getting the help and medication I need. I am doing fine now the medication does have its negatives, but I am getting better. This community was a meaningful part of my life and the people and friends in it made it all the better. I loved this server, and it was really fun. I am leaving gaming for a bit and continue with my life and my mental health. My family means a lot for me and I want to be there to help them. I will miss this community greatly always cherish the memories we had on this server. I might not come back but I feel like this was a big part of my social life. I met so many great people on this server and I will miss them greatly. This a hard thing to walk away from but something I should do. It would be better for me and my mental health to focus on real life for a while. That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the time I had here. Name:Vesuvius Direclaw Rank:Senior SCP(s) Involved:SCP-294 "The Coffee Machine"/Euclid, SCP-106 "The Old Man"/Keter, SCP-035 "The Possessive Mask"/Keter. Questions: How similar are the liquids SCP-106 and SCP-035 produce. SCP Background: SCP-294 is a what seems to be a Coffee Machine. The coffee machine in nature however is able to produce any liquid in the universe, extinct or extant. SCP-035 is what resembles a white, porcelain comedy mask. The mask seems normal, but secretes a corrosive black substance which is acidic in nature. To add to its strange nature, if a humanoid object is close enough to SCP-035, weather it be human or mannequin, it can possess and become violent. SCP-106 is what resembles to be a humanoid figure, resembling that of an old, decomposing human. The SCP is known to walk through solid matter, which is why its containment cell is kept in the air in a magnetized chamber. The SCP is also said to have its own pocket dimension. One other thing that is interesting to note is that SCP-106 has a black corrosive mucus like liquid that seems to dissolve things within a 6 hour period before "Burning out". This method has also been called a digestive adaptation, which is similar to how SCP-035 works. Hypothesis: I don't believe they are the same liquid, but due to their similarities I thought I could try it out. How I Got Ahold Of The Liquids: SCP-106 is currently untestable for me, however, I found a loophole to combat this and get ahold of the liquid. SCP-294 is how I can do this. I may not have testing access, but this helped and may benefit our understanding. Analyzation Observations/Conclusions: During the test, I noticed that SCP-035 and SCP-106's corrosive liquids seem to be made of the same composition, but different age. SCP-106's liquid seems to of come from maybe 105 years ago, maybe a bit earlier? SCP-035's liquid seems much older, by around 1,300 years possibly? When I began observing the components, I noticed that some acidic chemicals found in hydrochloric acid were in the composition. However, I did notice that they both had 4 new elements involved in this, which we have no name for. The elements seem to have the same amount of Atoms, even down to the Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons. The acids these two use are exactly identical in terms of material makeup. Theories/Questions After The Test: Why are both SCP's somehow using the same liquid, but don't have the same effects? I believe this is due to their age difference. It is possible, the longer the object or entity is exposed to the liquid, the deadlier it gets. A good example of this is SCP-106 as stories were thrown around during and after World War One on how a man fell into a hole filled with a black unknown substance. The man's name was Corporal Lawrence. After the war, you can tell that his mental state is spiraling out of control and that he is becoming way more aggressive, along with the fact that he disappeared randomly at night with the black substance always found nearby. The more time goes on, the deadlier he seems to become. It was described in a file by the mental hospital that held him that "One November night, 18 men and Corporal Lawrence disappeared". This left no traces other than their teeth and the black mucus, but out of the men, the only teeth that were not found was that of the Corporal. This implied that over time, his abilities got deadlier and deadlier. This also wasn't the last location of Corporal Lawrence noted within the last century. He was also spotted during World War Two, before anyone knew who he was. This could also work for 035. His abilities may not of been as bad as they are now, just like SCP-106 was. If this is the case though, SCP-106 needs to be terminated sooner then later before he becomes a walking fully animated 035. Theory 2: When Speaking to SCP-049 about SCP-035, he states that SCP-049 was hidden underground for a good century or two. Is it possible the area he hid in flooded with this liquid that then lost most of its corrosive effect after a certain time and corrupted Lawrence's mental state and physical abilities? Was my hypothesis correct: No, not at all. I knew the liquids acted similar, but had no idea they would have the same composition. This is incredible information, but does tell us that we need to hurry up with the termination of this SCP before containment is no longer an option. We all know how many times 106 breaks out every year, and if we can't hold him at all, we are in massive trouble. I am glad that I used SCP-294 to get ahold of these liquids, or else we may of never knew the information before it was too late.

We clearly need to update this to be more specific about the barricade being part of the line as not even I was aware of that being part of it. Evidence the warning is false: If we can't go behind the barricade that's fine, but nowhere does it say that... I was not attempting to circumvent the rules, I was attempting to do my job, I was not aware the barricade was part of the line. I online while Rang placed it, but it was never mentioned until today to me that it was part of the barricade. I wouldn't want anyone to see me breaking a rule nor would I want anyone in Gensec to get a warn or punishment due to breaking a rule. If I knew this was the case I would have let all riot control know not to do it and followed it myself as well.
