Bossatron1924 Posted April 15, 2022 Share Posted April 15, 2022 What are you suggesting? - Have the riot shield have some sort of damage reduction to health instead of blocking it, so people can't camp down a hall after loosing all their armor. Like having it at maybe a 50% damage reduction. How would this change better the server? - It can stop camping from down the halls and make pushes a little more coordinated but risky because of the damage reduction instead of negating it. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - It might reduce the amount of riot shield users, because currently riot shield only takes armor away and not health, requiring users to actually plan their actions if they use the riot shield, as if this is implemented, riot shield users might need to avoid large amounts of people. Now if they change the swep to something that looks more heavy, something like Montagne's shield from R6, I'd be all for it. (Not saying that they should add another swep and sell it, just replace the current one with something more realistic). Jess1224 Posted April 15, 2022 Share Posted April 15, 2022 -support, as someone who plays Nu-7 and goes against the Riot Shield basically every day (almost all Delta use this tool when in tight situations) I believe the riot shield to be balanced and in a good place, a buff or a nerf would be unwelcome at the moment.
