Regardless of what Manjini said being true or not, you should not retaliate in such a way, which is a very important part of being a Command Member, not to mention how arguing in the comments in your application is grounds for denial. It is incredibly rude and dismissive to attempt to eliminate that validity of someone's point because they are an "EX-MARSHALL". Now, if you take issue with what Manjini said, I will now prove each of Manjini's points in detail. This application is poor in several regards. Firstly, you are missing the private poll, which is grounds for denial. Secondly, for your answer to the purpose of a Command Member, you just talk about "the team" and not delve into any specifics, which to me shows a shallow understanding of the answer to the question. The Battlemetrics shown here are pretty poor: https://www.battlemetrics.com/players/1024426651 Now typically this can be excused if you are using the time well, but that is clearly not the case: the last time you did a Simulation according to the SF roster was on 3/29/2022. Since that point you have only done a few tryouts, which should primarily be the job of the NCOs. If you can't manage to do and log a sim in that time, I am surprised that you have not been striked or demoted. This is of course a personal opinion, but I do agree as there are several other candidates with superior applications, more activity, and prior experience. In summary, this should be an automatic denial due to a) Missing poll and b) Immature, argumentative replies.

You should amend your application as this is not true; when you were in Medical originally under me you did receive a strike and some demotions from me. Furthermore, I do expect an application to be written better, as this has many spelling errors, grammatical errors, and formatting issues in it that could make it difficult to read for some. Regarding you being ready for Medical Vice Commander: You are very good at pumping out many tryout advertisements, and hosting many simulations, but that does not comprise a Command Member. I have not seen in you the maturity required or the ability from you to work upon your own. For both your NCO and Officer applications you came to me for assistance, which I provided you for the NCO one due to feeling apologetic for my previous punishments of you. However, with the Officer application you repeatedly insisted on me reviewing it for you despite saying 6 times that I would not do so as you need more independence to be able to succeed. There are also some things regarding being an Officer and potential Command member that you still need to learn, such as how to handle punishing others with the power bestowed upon you. Not too long ago you wanted to strike a member of Medical for this response to a ping you did. The fact that as a VCMDR this would have just been a strike with no supervision is extremely concerning to me. With all this said, my main concern for you is an ability to manage a battalion, as I have not seen the maturity for that from you yet. I do not find that this is the right time for you, as I believe you need to work on these issues still. - Support. Needs more time and experience

You completely miss the point. Nobody reads cookie warnings, and why should they? The warning about lights is hidden inside that warning, purposefully making it easy to miss/ignore (also doesn't mention anything about noise, which is the issue here). Furthermore, even clicking deny on that page leads to the same result of receiving flashing lights with loud sounds. When someone you think you can trust sends you a link, you let your guard down a bit, and this instance completely abused that trust that a friend, HC, and JMT gets. What Mr JohnsAFK is trying to do is called victim blaming, and it is absolutely disgusting. @JohnsAFKyou try to call the +Supporters biased, but maybe you should reevaluate that for yourself. You are in DT, and are a GM V, and should know how to be mature and professional on the forums, rather than blaming the person who was negatively impacted by an abuse of trust by one of the higher ups in this community, and who received lasting physical damage. Be considerate and don't be a dick. If I was still a SGM I would have striked you for this horrible lapse of character.

+Support This portion of the ban is indeed invalid and the ban length was much more severe than typical potentially due to bias. 8 kills is typically 10 days not 30. And as Sawick said, the point of LTAP is when you try to get out of punishment. If you can acknowledge you are getting punished and it isn't an actual attempt to escape punishment, I don't believe that constitutes the nature of LTAP. By definition LTAP is "Leave to avoid punishment"; if he said he knew he was getting punished and banned, how is him leaving trying to avoid punishment? This is also pretty important. If none of them reported him or cared, why punish him? Especially because Sawick was picked out of the others who were blowing people up, I do think there is potentially bias present here and just finding a reason to punish him. This ban just seems like an excuse to ban Sawick for his actions relating to the report Benjacobs made on him while that report was in a pending state. I would also like to notify @benjacobs034of this appeal to get his side, as I am curious what he has to say regarding this to get a fair side, but for now this is my interpretation of the situation at hand, and it may change depending on what evidence or things he has to say.

I do think this is a good lesson to learn especially for life that ear damage is no laughing matter, as it is something that is permanent and affects many people. Especially prefacing something with trust as a friend, JMT, and HC, it can be very misleading to someone and cause such issues. Ducks even brought up the point about flashing images and seizures, which is entirely possible as well, and if something like that occurred it's not even a guarantee that this report would be made... I am going to +Support this with a note that these "jokes" should probably stop here, and that sending these around as staff and/or Command/HC is not acceptable to the trust of the community, particularly on official GL platforms. Ducks brought up how previous members who were not as high a rank were punished severely for this matter, receiving lengthy bans for it. I am sure that will not apply here, both as the reporter requested otherwise and since I doubt SMT+HC have the capacity to do so anyways due to their need for people and lack of qualified replacements at the moment, but let this be a reminder that staff and Command are to be held to a much higher expectation, and shouldn't get let off for breaking rules 24/7.
