Your best option in this type of situation, is to report the player or staff member, that you feel is targeting or harassing you! Staff members, should not be flying around and judging people on what they do etc, if that happens again, please report them on the forums. Gaminglight is a friendly and safe community, where we expect everyone to be treated with respect and kindness and of course people will have different ways of acting and have different personalities, which some may not respect or care about anyone. But you will always receive respect and a positive mindset from your friends and the people that are around you. Bullying and Harassment is not tolerated in this community and should be reported, feel free to come talk to me, if you feel that someone is targeting, bullying or harassing you. You have a lot of people you can talk to and you shouldn't be afraid to speak up! I would be happily to help or talk about anything that is on your mind that is bothering you. I do not want to see people in this community or in the real world, being bullied or harassed. Don't let others get to you, speaking up is the best option, I have plenty of free time and space, for anyone to come chill in my room and just talk about anything that is on your mind! I have known you since 2017-2018 and have become good friends with you. I haven't really spoken to you that much this year but I know that you're a great and mature guy, you know what you're doing and you do have past experience when being a staff member. Your application is semi-good, I would personally like to see just a bit more effort and really responding to those important questions to give us more information but your application is pretty good! When answering this question; What would you do if you think a player is an alt account? and you responded - "Immediately report it to an Super Admin+ on the server and make them aware of this." You wouldn't contact a Super-Admin+ as you're the Super-Admin, which you will be able to handle the situation. Same thing with the Charge back questions. You're pretty much pretending to act like a Super-Admin to answer these questions, if that makes sense. But it's completely up to you, if you want to edit it or just leave it. From reading other people's responses, you have been Senior-Admin for a good amount of time and you have shown dedication and time into your role, you know how to staff and deal with situations correctly as I have seen you do it. Back when I was playing which was 2017-2018, combat healing was a rule and still is to this day. I would recommend you reading the MOTD and any EMS handbook to get a good understanding and knowledge about the rules etc. I don't see anything wrong with this staff report, I believe the staff member did his job correctly and issued you with the correct punishment. At the end of the day, the staff member has final say on the situation and up to the staff members discretion may issue you with any punishment that is needed. I suggest for you talking to Jimmy about this situation and figure out what's the next step. You can either make a warn appeal or just stick with the warn, it's completely up to you! But like I said, the staff member did his job correctly and in a professional matter. A strike or demotion is not needed for this report as this report is more like an appeal report! Hello, Just thought I would give some advice about what's going on and what's happening. Our world population is suffering from the COVID-19 and many people are talking and wanting to know information. Not sure if you guys watch the news or the media, but most countries are making rules and laws about this virus and are they're trying their best to do everything as they can, as this was very unexpected. You don't have to, but I would highly recommending watching the news and the media for any updates about the current virus that is going around and you will need to know what to do etc. In most countries, schools are closed or slowly closing. Which means most of you guys are to complete online school work, and I know it may be a bit stressful and heaps boring to do. But I will give some tips and advice. If you don't want to be read these tips or advice, It doesn't bother me, people have different opinions or have better solutions to handle this. But I'm doing this to make sure everyone is alright and if they're stressing, they can refer back to this! Set your alarm for an early start - Make sure you had plenty of sleep 8 hours+ and make sure you set an alarm early just like you do, when you go to school! The earlier you're up, the more you can achieve in the day. Have a designated workspace - If you're working on the couch, or in bed, you're far more likely to get distracted by phones, TV or pets. Set up your books and laptop at a desk or the kitchen table and make that your zone for learning. Take breaks - At school you would usually get a break for lunch or recess. Take those breaks when learning from home too! No one expects you to work non-stop for the whole day. You will be even more stressed and tired for doing all this work in one day, remember take breaks! Don't stress - You guys are learning a new curve. Your teachers will be patient and understanding about this whole situation, but I recommend you to let them know if you are struggling. It is important to remember that everyone is in the same boat as you. Keeping in touch - I would highly suggest keeping in touch with your teachers, they probably know this is a confusing stressful time for everyone and want to help make it as easy a process as they can. Remember you have your teachers to refer to back, you don't want to be stressing or struggling with any work and you're too late for asking for help etc. So keep in contact! Lastly, look after yourselves! Physically, emotionally and mentally. Reach out if you need to talk to someone, go for a walk if you're feeling restless and remember: this is temporary. It's very important to exercise and get outside once and awhile, don't just stay home all week. Go out and go for a walk/jog and have a positive mindset, staying home and not doing anything, will make you more stress and bored. Catch up with a friend and see how they're going but make sure you're keeping a distance of a 1.5 meter, it's always best to check up on your friends and see how they're going and giving any advice to them. Make sure you're wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet. Cover your cough and sneeze with your inner elbow, inside your shirt or tissues, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. And if unwell, avoid contact with others and if you're still feeling unwell, see a your local doctor or hospital to get tested or just a check-up. It's very important to keep yourself clean and hydrated throughout this situation, make sure you have a good hygiene and getting plenty of fluids in your body such as water, or any other drinking fluids. 6 benefits of staying hydrated Water helps prevent dry mouth. Water keeps your throat and lips moist and prevents your mouth from feeling dry. Water promotes cardiovascular health. Water keeps your body cool. Water helps muscles and joints work better. Water keeps skin supple. Water helps cleanse your body — inside and out. Avoid touching your face, mouth, nose and biting your nails. If you have touched a surface whether in public or at home and you haven't washed your hands or didn't use any alcohol-based hand sanitizer and you have just touched your face whether that be your mouth, nose, nails etc. You may expect some symptoms throughout the week, but you may be lucky if you don't get any symptoms. Also, avoid contacting with others, don't shake anyone hands. If you really want to shake someones hand, then touch elbows or knees. That's all I have to say for now! I would suggest copy and pasting what I sent you, because reading this was a bit of a struggle and I'm not sure where you're going with this. If you have no valid evidence of the situation, you're most likely going to keep the warn. And if you do not know the Admin's name that warned you, that's also going to be a problem. The virus has spread worldwide which, It's very unfortunate that people are losing family members, friends etc... from this unexpected virus. People are losing their jobs, shops are slowly closing, schools are closed for the meantime, most countries are in lock down and no one can leave their house. This virus can go for a long time, people are staying up to 6 months+ which we should all be isolating and taking care of yourselves and our hygiene. COVID-19 disease usually spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze. It can also spread when a person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it, then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Be careful on what you touch in public and try your hardest to not touch your face, bite your finger nails or nose etc. People in most countries that have come back from overseas don't isolate and they think it's all good to come out in the public and start to touch things, cough/sneeze etc. People of all ages can be infected by this new virus (COVID-19). Older people, and people with pre-existing medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease) appear to be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill with the virus. I advises people of all ages to take steps to protect themselves from the virus, for example by following good hand hygiene and good respiratory hygiene. You can protect yourself and help prevent spreading the virus to others if you: Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub, Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze, Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with people who are unwell but try and stay 1.5 meters from people in general, Stay home and self-isolate from others in the household if you feel unwell, don't Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean, Try and avoid shaking hands etc. If you develop symptoms (fever, a cough, sore throat, tiredness or shortness of breath) within 14 days of last contact with a confirmed case, you should arrange to see your doctor for urgent assessment. You should telephone the health clinic or hospital before you arrive and tell them your travel history or that you may have been in contact with a potential case of COVID-19. You must remain isolated in your home until public health authorities inform you it is safe for you to return to your usual activities. If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected COVID-19 infection. Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing. Masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water. If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly. You can still wear a mask in public if you want to try and protect yourself at all times. That's all I have to say, just make sure you're keeping clean by, washing your hands frequently for 20 seconds+, avoid contact from other people, stay isolated in your home. Try your best to not touch your face, bite your nails, play with your nose or ears etc. It's very sad and unfortunate that this virus has suddenly spread throughout our population and has affected many of us. We can't really do much but all we can do is give you advice and what you need to do in the meantime, this virus can be around for up to 6+ months so make sure you're keeping up to date with everything that is happening at the moment, keep checking for any updated information. This virus is concerning but just follow all the procedures that are provided for you and stick to them. Please be mindful of others that may be affected by this. NEUTRAL Hello, Depending how you look at this situation and people will have different opinions to this but, just like what waffle said, he shouldn't be close to the door because it seemed like he was camping/guarding it. Blueprint making those weird *Kiss* noises and doing it constantly is kinda micspamming and very annoying. Waffle, shouldn't of used his powers off-duty. It clearly states in the handbook and when you get trained. You're not meant to leave someone frozen in the air, where everyone can see them. If your mouse is really glitching because it's "Old" then, I would suggest trying to buy or find another mouse to use for the meantime. You can clearly see Waffle is admitting to his mistakes and has gave us an honest response. Mistakes happen and we all learn from it, we just have to think before we act and find a better way to fix your mistakes. Demotion is not necessary in my opinion, I believe everyone deserves a second chance depending on the situation of course, but this situation can be easily talked to and off with a verbal warning! Moderators are still learning and developing skill and knowledge with using staff equipment and etc, everyone makes mistakes but we fix them and find a better solution for it!
