  1. Hello Kami, The first I think week that SCP breaching was readded, MTF was basically getting run ragged with the D-class requests and timers. While it gave them more to do, it was tedious as all hell and it was quickly rectified. If people want to look at readjusting the timers they need to be very specific with what they want changed on SCP timers/breach procedures. This means you having to go through each SCP and note by how much the timer/containment procedure should be adjusted. This would give people more idea as to balancing rather then a catch-all reduction. -Support regardless, I deal with CI/D class breaching enough as it is if it isn't peak times.
  2. Hello Randy, Honestly, if you wanna make the radio even easier and not have to have a swep, you can just use Military RP's radio system. There is no swep, you just hit a key to turn the radio on and hit a button that scrolls through preset radio channels. Don't have to bother with setting the actual number or anything and it only activates when you press a specific key.
  3. Hello Randy, Jesus christ this video. I know that it may have been around 40 players or something and people wanted to have some fun but this is an immense amount of abuse and lack of respect for the rules in place. Even when its low time, the rules should still be being followed and there was just ridiculous nonsense going on here. Plus the fact that they immediately then made it their goal to "Try and play it off" knowing full well what they did was wrong makes it even worse and even admitting it themselves. Hardcore +Support - This should be an immediate removal from staff, no questions asked.
  4. What you want to see? - Increase RCF/Riot control slots to 10 ea Why should we add it? - With the new influx of RCF/Riot control and security, 5 slots per job on these is not enough. We would like to increase it to 10 each What are the advantages of having this? - Allows more people to be on these critical jobs. Hello Panda, While we know that SCPs do team up in the actual lore at times, from a gameplay perspective with how our server works this would make certain SCPS practically invulnerable once breached. For example, 682 and a 939 roaming around together would be impossible to recontain or a 106 and a 939. The rules exist specifically for a balance perspective because it would result in some SCP's being practically immune to recontainment due to their speed, power and health. -Support
  9. Hello Imperial RP, We already have this on SCPRP and MilRP and works just fine using the Bwhitelists system. Its not really abused and if it is, its easily dealt with. You could ask Igneous or Scoot to help you with it, so you don't have to spend hours doing it on your own.
  10. Hello Inaccurate, Pretty sure igneous said this along time ago but tactical resets aren't even a thing. If you kill someone to reset their health it puts them on NLR. We got told this awhile ago back in security.

I am tired of constantly dealing with people saying "PAY TO WIN IDIOT" while I'm on my custom and its getting old. This person in particular is a staff member and I definately expect more from staff members. It needs to stop now.   12. Hello Jakub, I don’t know how the hammer is at the moment but I don’t think it’s been nerfed yet. It does 150 damage which is its old damage. But there is something that can’t ever be fixed about it that’s even more annoying then it’s damage and that’s the stupid animation. The hammers actual attack comes like .5 -1.0 seconds after the actual animation. This means someone can swing it and run towards you and still hit you after the animation has been done. It makes it difficult to dodge and realize where the attack is at because they could swing facing forward after you side step, turn to you and you will still get hit. If that could be fixed it would help a lot with one of the hammers bigger issues but if it’s still doing 150 damage it just hasn’t been touched yet. Give it some time, they did accept the damage nerf suggestion and just haven’t gotten around to it yet. -Support.

What you want to see? - I would like to see it that CI cannot raid during scheduled GENSEC/MTF meetings/training (The ones held once per week not ones held at random) Why should we add it? - Its kind of annoying when CI raids during an MTF/GENSEC meeting knowing full well the other side is busy with D-class or D-class and SCPs. It instantly results in a pretty unfair situation that cannot be rectified for nearly 30+ minutes and results in mass breaches that take quite a bit to get under control. Its also slightly meta when they do, knowing half our force is gone for meetings that are not to be interacted with by outside individuals. I don't know how people feel about this in general but this is something thats bothered me for a bit. What are the advantages of having this? - No ridiculous mass breaches/raids when a huge chunk of the foundation force (security or MTF) is not avaliable to help.   14. Hello SMT, The Custom class OPRF - Omnipurpose Riot force has access to /security command but not /foundation comms. It also does not have access to radio channel 2. Could this be fixed please?
  15. I'm not really sure whats up with this suggestion other then to nerf securities ability to defend D-block which is a huge no-no. D class rushing in waves is already bad enough but if only 1-2 d-class are rushing at a time, you guys aren't supposed to win ever. D-class are supposed to be at a disadvantage in D-block, heavy weaponry or not. -Support

  19. Hello SCP RP, Holy please do this. Dr. Bright is unreal mingy because its a donator research job. While there are good brights, most I've seen do stupid tests, do not follow research rules or are downright impulsive and do not know how to properly do the roleplay. Restricting it so it requires research rank will help reduce this issue. Hardcore +Support
  20. Hello Jeffe, So I used to be slightly against this but now I'm definitely for it. The server started with over 6 branches all supposedly specializing indifferent things and in less then 3-4 weeks we added 4 more (nova,death,commandos,royal guard) without even having the player base for it and the results are very evident. The server peaks around 20-30 players at around 5pm to 9pm CST and I usually only see 1-2 people per branch online with some branches having ZERO activity for the entire day. We have, 10 branches and only tiny activity in each. Not only is this bad for unifying player bases in their respective branches, it just makes it unnecessarily complicated. We need to cut down on the branches and bring players together so that we get more activity out of the branches that there are here. Imperial RP should have started with only 4 maybe 5 branches MAX. The following branches are what I consider keystone branches and usually the most active/essential starting branches (Stormtroopers, Naval, Inquisitors, Shock Security, and Starfighters). Stormtroopers is the base branch from which specialization in any other branch like it should occur from, Naval is responsible for the ship operations, Inquisitors is the lightsaber wielding force, Shock Security is the special force responsible for arrest/interrogation/discipline, Starfighters is responsible for flying the fighters/bombers/transports and/or Royal guard is responsible for defending higher ups) These 5 branches have definitive purposes on our roleplay server and are not just slightly advanced copies of another branch. I understand that star wars had a lot of specialized divisons, but we are a game server trying to grow our base and having 10 branches with only 20 people on, is not going to work very well. The following branches may need to be cut: Nova, Death Troopers, Engineering, Medical, Commandos, 501st. I can understand Nova a bit as I see them used to follow naval around, but most of these branches simply function as a more advanced stormtrooper on the field and in RP with more equipment and thats it. Nova,death troopers,commandos,501st can easily just be integrated into stormtroopers with a specific job for them and stay as divisons inside stormtroopers. This way people can still be those more elite troopers but be apart of 1 unified branch and not split into multiple semi-active/inactive ones. They are literally just more advanced stormtroopers and while lore wise this isn't exactly correct, what I see on the game server during events/passive rp says otherwise. Medical and Engineering do have a case to stay as they do have a definitive role but they are more support then they are primary branches and could easily be slotted into stormtroopers/naval. Medical does have the equipment needed to be unique, but engineering is basically nonexistant because unless you are trying to passive rp "Fixing the ship" or "Disabling bombs", there is nothing different about it from stormtroopers (They can't even spawn ground vehicles for crying out loud and thats honestly what they should be given the ability to do!) Overall, we have too many branches right now and several of them just act as advanced stormtroopers, are more support then they are a standalone branch or can easily be slotted into a primary keystone branch and keep their identity as a special force/divison inside that branch. It might be a bit difficult because we've set up a lot of these branches but we're hurting our base with too many branches and thats why this suggestion was made in the first place. We went too fast, too early and we need to take a step back to give our base a chance to grow. Maybe when the base is like 40-50+, then we could look at making these individual branches ,but for now, they need to be unified because game-wise, theres not enough to warrant having so many. TL:DR - We have too many branches and our players are spread way too thin across them all. Unify some of the branches into divisions in one and we'll see some better activity from our playerbase. +Support
  21. Hello Gaminglight, Im wondering what the plan is for imperial and clone wars rp? These two servers seem to occupy the same niche and while it’s great we have both, they adversely affect each others player bases. I know that recently clone wars is getting its HC back to try and get activity back up and I know that prior it was very popular, this split player base stuff is not the best in the world. I’m actually not sure what happened with clone wars rp that made it lose its base. Maybe there needs to be more time but both of these servers at this time need their dedicated members to be on them and if your active on clone wars it’s difficult to promote activity on imperial as you need to be on the other to improve activity. It would be better in my opinion to just cut one and focus on that server to fuse the bases and jumpstart one even more so. Ultimately, I’m wondering what the long term game plan is for these two servers that occupy the same DarkRP style. They may be republic and empire but they both occupy the same passive role play and event driven style.
  22. Hello Becket, I always found it weird that SF always had the air and ground vehicles. Engineering really should be dealing with ground support vehicles but with the other suggestion in the works I’m not sure what will become of this if it’s accepted. Regardless, +Support. I don’t see very many engineers on.
  23. Hello Pug, These rules are already a thing on the server. While a little bit of banter is okay, it is literally against the rules to harass or call people names on the server. If you see GENSEC or D-class doing it, call an admin. And of course, obscenities are also not really allowed due to the age thing with Gaminglight servers. This is already a thing, the problem is, the interactions between GENSEC/D-Class result in this sort of consistant heated clashing that really cannot be resolved due to the nature of their jobs. The only thing you can do is call staff when people break server rules and get them to resolve it. D-Class have no leaders and thus theres only staff punishment if they do it. But GENSEC does, and we're expected to act professionally. If you catch GENSEC doing it, yes call an admin, but also report it to an WO+ and they should be able to start the process of correcting the behavior. If none is present, record the behavior happening and post in our punishment request room in the GENSEC discord. It really doesn't matter whos responsible for starting it, the best thing is to end it as soon as it occurs.
  24. Hello Phenix, So realistically, Naval problely wouldn't be on the battlefield with troops but operating safely on the ship or in highly defended location. But this server is meant to encourage a fun roleplay environment, so by taking the guns away you do mess with their abilities a bit. But at the same time, that also means Naval gets to take the job of other battalions who are supposed to be the foot soldiers. I myself am not sure what the correct answer to this would be as its an issue revolving around player experience on the server. Naval having heavy guns does not really affect the other battalions too much but it is kinda silly from roleplay perspective. Also regarding leadership, I do feel Naval should be managing from upper echelons and delegating on-field tasks to officers/NCO of their respective battalion, so that..You know the officers/NCOs can actually lead their men on the battle field and report back to highest Naval officers. This way, we have a proper chain of command active. +/- support due to the reasons above.
  25. Hello SCP-RP, This time must come for everyone at some point on a server and this is mine. I've enjoyed my time on SCPRP and have gained a lot of new skills and experiences as the management of the branch on this server has been more intense then the one on MilRP by far. But lately I've been feeling like I haven't been putting much effort in anymore as this job takes a lot more then updating a few forms every now and again. I'd rather do this then waste more time as there are expectations of the job I am holding. I'm sure War-gamer or Madviking will be more then able to take on the position I hold now but I am no longer able to continue this with confidence. I apologize to those who weren't expecting this as I have been on LOA for this week but I needed some time away and it made me realize this is fairly stressful. But I will never regret the time I've spent on SCPRP as this was my new home after MilRP had gone through some issues and for that I thank every single one of you who I have met, looked up to and mentored myself. Security is one of the base foundation branches and helps set the stage for a lot of new players on this server and I've been happy to be apart of it since january of this year. Keep the server running well and never forget the experiences we've had. Thank you so much everyone.
