Hello Igneous, This is a list of the current bugs from the security update: 1. SFC/WO/Riot control/Sniper classes cannot access radio channel 2 (Security Radio) 2. Sergeant Class does not have a primary rifle anymore (I think it was the Galil or something)

Hello Bonk, I feel like this post doesn't exactly understand how many people come through general security. We are the primary branch that people join on the server aside from research. The majority of our recruits have less then 1hr of playtime, meaning they come directly from D class right onto the security job to play. As the current OFTO (Overseer of Training) and prior HDFTO (Head Field training officer), I would see tons of recruits come throughout the day but training more people doesn't ensure they stay. Even with top trainers who make sure recruits are disciplined and ready to join general security, that does not offset that fact that some of those people do not stay (Whether voluntarily or via removal due to mingy behavior), there can be as many as 3x-4x the amount of security at any given time and that security has NLR timers results in a situation that having more numbers does not always mean better. It means better for D class unfortunately, because of the sheer numbers, no need for training, no NLR and no standards needed to follow aside from server rules. We want to be able to spend time to make sure our people are improving and growing in our branches but because D class have no NLR and often times riot for hours on end, there is barely any time for proper RP. While D class do make up a big portion of our base, the rest is made up of people who make the "ROLEPLAY HAPPEN". Its not fun for the numerous branches who have to deal with this when we get rushed by 20+ D class every 5 minutes. Its not fun for the D class who actually want to be tested on (Which numbers quite a few, they just end up riotting because 3-4 D class killing 4-5 security results in them taking an opportunity). Its definitely not fun for the security who sit there and play RDM the game and the researchers who can't get their D class because we have to lockdown D block every 30 or so minutes to get D class to calm down. D class get away with way too much like having No NLR, having guns for D class, no riotting timers, guns being nerfed to 40% of their damage allows D class to run up and melee attack instead of just being gunned down instantly which is really dumb and its time for it to end. I can barely send patrols out half the time or give researchers escorts or even do training practices with my troops because of this nonsense. We usually don't have more then 15 security on and even then theres usually 30+ D class causing nonstop issues, especially due to the NLR rules. I fully +support adding riotting rules or some way of controlling this better because D class are way stronger then they think they are half the time due to sheer numbers and the advantages they are given alone.

Hello Tyler, You have been one tough member of command ever since I saw you. Not only were you an advocate for discipline and professionalism, but you were also an effective leader who did he needed to do to organize security. I hate that we're also losing you as well but you have your priorities and they are important. We'll give you a proper send off for your time here and I hope whatever lies ahead in the future for you goes well.
-
Hello Crimson, Its understandable if you've lost your interests in the server and are looking to do other things. So while it sucks that we'll be losing you as a important figure on the server, your dedication, work ethic and ability to be a role model to security members will be missed by all. So thank you for taking the time to be a mentor, leader and overall a friend to all foundation members. Good luck to whatever you look to in the future!

Hello Polar, I've actually seen site 12 on another SCPRP server and its pretty nice. It has a security control room too. The only downside from my perspective is that the D block area is a hallway and is super cancerous to defend as a security member because its just one large funnel.

Hello Jet, I actually have a few reasons why this could be pretty helpful: 1. Easy Location Marker - The Squad system notes who is in your squad, their hp and there location on the map as marked by a arrow in distance or their name above their head. This is useful and lore friendly as highly trained members of foundation/chaos insurgency should be able to easily identify who is who and where there location is. 2. Reduction in friendly fire - This is problely the biggest thing. When people are in the same squad, friendly fire is turned off for those individuals. This means they no longer injure or shoot friendlies in combat and it would drastically reduce the amount of friendly fire that occurs by having people in the same squad by default. 3. Enhances Gameplay - Overall, the easy location markers and reduction in friendly fire would increase collaboration from foundation members and make it easier to be a team with your specific branch or branches if all foundation use the same squad branch. This would make it more enjoyable to play. This could however pose a bit of an issue due to 2 other issues though: 1. Green Arrow/Name Spam - Under certain circumstances, you could have as many as 10+ people in a single squad. While this might look fine on MilitaryRP, it would look slightly ridiculous on SCP RP through massive amounts of walls. It may also encourage metagaming. (EX: You are in a squad of 5, 3 in LCZ, 2 in HCZ. 2 in HCZ die to SCP/CI without reporting what happened. Because they can see that those individuals sided via the squad, they might "Just So Happen" to go check the HCZ) 2. Requires a bit of lax lore - This is lore friendly depending on whether you care more about gameplay or roleplay. From a gameplay perspective, it enhances the experience by increasing collaboration and reducing friendly death/miscommunication. From an RP stance however, it can encourage a lot of metagame situations and can result in fire fights or situations where people don't need to care about unloading 200 rounds into the person in front of them. Making certain RP positions pointless on the map. Do keep in mind this system was specifically designed for MilitaryRP. I could see it being used in Star Wars RP as well because thats literally military in the future and that kind of tech would be completely plausible and reasonable. But SCPRP/PRP might be a bit more finicky with a system like this. Overall, I would enjoy seeing the system on here to reduce friendly fire and encourage more teamwork. But at the same time, I can also see people not wanting something like this either because its not needed or its not lore friendly. For me, its a +Support. But others might feel different.

Name on roster: Matricies Rank on roster: COL How active are you: Almost every day for 2-6hours What can Security CMD improve on?: I think the biggest issue is just retention and security command clarifying what they can and can't do. This would help some command members be more proactive in there duties. Command activity also helps. Why should we keep you as GENSEC command [150 words+]: As the highest ranking low command member and current head field training officer, I feel I have done what Is expected of me and more to contribute to security. Not only have I consistently been an active part in fostering a friendly environment in which security can grow, I've mentored several, several officers and have been actively engaged in addressing issues when they occur. Many of these security officers have since become command members of their own right and have continued fostering the professional and disciplined environment that security should have. I have demonstrated a good level of competency with the tasks I've been given and taken on additional responsibilities to help make sure security is running smoothly. I am reliable, serious and responsible for the actions I take and am a role model for several security members. Due to the above, I feel that I have earned the spot I currently hold and will continue to do so to the best of my abilities.

Hello Dakota, Losing a lot of security here. I've seen you in security for awhile now and you've definitely cemented your place as a competent, reasonable leader. You've done quite a lot for security as a command member and an FTO and I'm glad we had the chance to utilize your skills and get to know you. It bites you'll be leaving security but your still a part of the foundation and that means your still part of a greater family. I wish you luck in your endeavors on the other branches your in. Thank you for your service.

What you want to see? - Rank list added to security training room and updated branch heads. Why should we add it? - There is an area of empty space that could be used for adding ranks to make training during command structure a bit easier. In addition, the branch heads are outdated and need to be updated. What are the advantages of having this? - Easier training on command structure and simple to add. Branch heads should be updated anyways. Who is it mainly for? - Security. Links to any content - Example of Rank list on empty corner in training room: Outdated Branch heads:

Hello October, Having some sort of time limit or block was discussed at the meeting we had on Saturday and it was not favorable in commands eyes. This is the next best thing aside from promoting random SOs to open room.
-
Hello Scoot, You were supposed to move up with me Scoot! I understand juggling between the two servers which was why I decided to resign from military RP to put my effort into SCPRP. It bites that your going to be leaving us but hopefully you visit like I visit milrp at times. Thank you for committing your time to SCRRP and the great time we had together here.

Hello Berserker, The issue isn't just SO's not being promoted. Today we have had an insane number of trainees coming through today resulting in the overfill of security today and not all of them deserve promotions. It results in an issue where I have 10 SO on all the time because of nonstop trainees we get and if they can't get on there class right away after training, it makes it feel like the training was pointless until room opens up.
-
What you want to see? - Increase the SO limit from 10 to 20 Why should we add it? - We are one of the primary branches and take on the most recruits and during peak hours I have people in security who are unable to get on their SO whitelist due to the low cap. What are the advantages of having this? - Ability to have more SO's on during peak times. This improves player satisfaction and ability of security to defend D block. Who is it mainly for? - Security and other foundation Links to any content - None

Hello SCP Community, This is actually something I've wondered about for awhile and do agree with. SCP 682 is pretty underpowered compared to a few other SCPs in the same caliber and primarily because: 1. Slow Swep - His swep that allows him to kill people makes him super slow unless hes enraged which works on a timer. This means after SCP 682 kills maybe 1 person he slows up so hard that you can literally just walk from him. Shooting him doesn't reengage the swep either so it makes him very underwhelming. Compare this to SCP 939 who while can't just kill you when he sees you, moves at an extremely fast pace and do far more in the amount of time hes usually breached. 2. Huge SCP - This SCP is massive in comparison to most, making him very easy to tranquilize in comparison. Combine that with him being slowed to hell and you have an SCP who really doesn't deserve the designation he has on the server at the moment (Obviously lore says otherwise) 3. Rarely played or breached - This SCP is rarely breached because its a donor scp. For an SCP that costs money and can put the site on defcon 2 by himself, I rarely see him breached or played because 939 does what he does but way better and only needing levels. This is not a good thing as SCP RP has the highest cost of donor ranks out of ANY of the gaming light servers. (Silver on here is 25$. Compare to the equivalent rank on military RP 15$. Platnium is 100$. Champion is 50$) I know donor classes aren't supposed to be super overpowered or anything but SCP 682 is underwhelming at the moment. He either needs changes to his recontainment procedure or he needs a serious buff or swep replacement. His recontainment procedure is problely the best option: Ex: Has to be shot at to "Simulate" him getting weakened before he can be tranquilized (Staff can easily check if hes been damaged before hand so there is concrete evidence) Ex 2: Gets a huge roll bonus and can roll more then one time to wake up or break cuffs. (Gets to roll 2-3 times when cuffed and gets a +10-20+ roll bonus. Similar to site administration) These are the best options I can think of for now to buff SCP 682 as he seriously needs a buff.

What you want to see? - Adding a rule against SCPS/D class being inside designated training areas. Why should we add it? - Annoying when I have D class who know that people are training and run into training areas and disrupting it because they know security or other combat forces run into these zones to kill them. This results in a temporary disruption of training and it can happen consistantly. What are the advantages of having this? - Less interruptions in training Who is it mainly for? - Foundation branches with designated training areas. Links to any content - None

Hello Garlic, I actually made a suggestion awhile back about that issue and if it hasn’t been fixed the suggestion may need a necro.
-
Hello Strong, You may want to look at SCP 173's lore because its literally a statue that can't really talk so this was problely very strange for lots of people to read.

Hello Rookieblue, The individual above I feel would be a wonderful candidate for LT-COL based on the following: - Active - He may not be as active as some security members, but I do see him on every once and awhile. His life is a bit busy but he does a great amount with the time he spends on the server helping assist troops and make assignments and fostering a positive environment for security. - Takes on Higher responsibilites - Despite being a LT, he has already begun taking on higher responsibilities without hesitation and works to try and make things easier for other members such as clarification on documents and improving procedures for all security members. - Leadership qualities - I feel that hes able to assist and lead security as a LTCOL well as he not only listens to the concerns of other members, but is able to be a great role model for other members. He is an FTO and assists in training troops and improving security as a whole. - Approachable/Friendly - This individual is friendly and approachable about concerns and topics making him well suited for handling situations with security members or answering questions and leading security in a reasonable way. These are the traits I believe a LT-COL should have and because of this I think he would make a wonderful LT-COL. He has my full +Support.
-
Hello Scoot, I feel that you would be a great choice for LT-COL based on the following: - Active - Is on usually every day for several hours helping out security members and helping staff the server in his admin position - Great Leadership skills - I worked with this individual on Military RP and he was a great commander that assisted in dealing with documentation/rosters and meetings for RU Core and as a general in high command. He also was very in tune with his troops leading and helping lower members understand and develop there skills. - Approachable/Friendly - Scoot is very approachable and friendly. He not only assists security in making assignments but he helps foster a good environment for security and I could see him doing much more in a higher position. Overall, due to these traits I feel the individual above would be a great canidate for LT-COL and he has my full +Support.

What you want to see? - Remove guns from D class or at least remove assault weaponry Why should we add it? - I don't know why D class got guns back 2 weeks after we removed them for this issue but now its even worse. The new damage buff to guns is helping with the melee D class issue but it also buffed the D class who run around with pistols/AK47s. This results in security/MTF/NTF being decimated by groups of d class with assault weaponry. We really should take the AK47 and the pistol away but if this seems like too much, then at least remove assault rifles from D class. What are the advantages of having this? - More RP friendly to Foundation personnel (Makes no sense why they have AK47s in D block. We already make it so customs can't spawn in D block with weapons) Who is it mainly for? - Foundation/D class who don't want to be in lockdown all the time. Links to any content - None. Simple removal of a weapon or 2 off crafting/class.
-
Hello Knuckles, Unfortunately, while D class NLR is also an idea, it would be incredibly hard for staff to keep up with it due to the number of D class on all the time. It would take up a lot more time then would be necessary to just remove NLR from security in the D block area. So its more of a practicality issue because I think it sounds good in theory but its not very feasible in practice here.

Name: Matricies Rank: WO Activity Status: Active (Almost Every Day for at least 2+ hours) Reason you should stay command (100+ words): As a new junior command officer, this opportunity given to me is to learn new leadership skills and constantly grow to become a better command member for the future. Not only am I very active but have shown that I am able to handle assignments, deal with certain security situations and be a proper role model for learning security members to look up to and learn from so that they can proceed and become more effective security officers. I believe that the skills I offer in leadership, accountability and responsibility make me a valuable member of security command and I will continue to improve upon those skills to help improve the quality of security and the satisfaction that members have in our foundation branch. Any concerns: None really

What you want to see? - Security NLR removed while in D block or dying from D class personel. Why should we add it? - Security have several jobs on the foundation site and one of them includes controlling D class and dealing with D class riots. However, there can easily be an upwards of 15+ D class online with only 6-8 security members. With the nerfed damage values on guns, D class are easily able to approach security officers with melee weapons and to make it worse they can now have seemingly permanent pistols and assault rifles. As little as 3-5 D class can be responsible for killing the Security officers constantly but because of the NLR timers on security combined with the sheer amount of D class, this usually results in them all rushing out the door and causing easy havoc on the rest of the site while security is able to do little about it for the 3 minutes. If we are going to give D class advantages they really should not have (Assault Weaponry, Pistols, Easy to Approach with Melee weapons) security should really have the NLR timer removed if they are in D block or if it caused by a D Class. D class having NLR themselves is not a realistic solution to issue as it is incredibly difficult to enforce but removing NLR from security would help alleviate some issues. What are the advantages of having this? - This not only improves the balancing a bit when it comes to controlling D class but would help relieve issues felt by other foundation branches when mass D class breaches happen. It also relieves frustration for security who have NLR despite riot control being one of our PRIMARY duties with the number of people we have to control with the few security who are on at a given time. Who is it mainly for? - All Foundation Branches (Security is the primary but when D class breach en masse, every branch feels the impact.) Links to any content - None, this is a simple Rule Change.

no crafting guns Class D's crafting guns? wtf? - Denied
Matricies replied to Deadeye_Jace's topic in Denied
Hello Deadeye, Make sure to use this format so its easier to read and see what the intent is. This is the suggestion format that most people use. Please make sure suggestions are pertinent and relevant! What you want to see? - Why should we add it? - What are the advantages of having this? - Who is it mainly for? - Links to any content - I also agree however. We literally just got rid of D class guns 3-4 weeks ago and now suddenly have them again.
