Removing the AOS/KOS warrant rule
Roleplaygod replied to [GL] My Pet named Steve's topic in Completed
TBH as of right now on the current published MOTD it does not state that you can nor that you can't. Someone edited it and removed anything that had to do with this rule. -
- support The only thing cops have on criminals on a 10-80 is that damage. Crim vehicles are way faster than PD. Just drive slower and tap your key don't hold it down.
-
tbh I didn't even know that was up, I had forgotten. Also I made this because I had a sit today about a rule I knew was in the MOTD but is now gone sooo
-
The sad thing about that is that that post was made a month ago. and here we are today.

How am I supposed to know if something changed or not? Or even better notice a chance? or how do I know if it was changed and I am not wasting my time by reading it? What if I read it a day before it was changed and then don't read it the next day because I thought I was up to date but it was changed? Do you know the MOTD by heart that if I remove a line you will notice? Do you read it every day before playing? How do you know if you are up to date? What if you warn someone for a rule that was there a day before but now it is gone? I could keep on going and going

What you want to see? - A Log of ANY & ALL changed made to the MOTD. A reply to the topic with the date, rules changed, added and removed. Why should we add it? - It is creating a lot of confusion. I as a Staff Member don't even know when the MOTD is changed. This is not right. I had a sit today that someone was brking another person out of jail that was not in their family. I pulled them into a sit and then they said that there was nothing about that in the MOTD. When I look at the MOTD... nothing about it. GONE. A rule that was there 1 week ago is now banished. This is creating a lot of confusion and you can't expect someone to memorize and learn the MOTD out of the top of their head, to know when a small change is made. A log would fix all of these issues. What are the advantages of having this? - PEOPLE WOULD BE ON THE SAME PAGE ABOUT EVERYTHING. EVERY RULE. Who is it mainly for? - EVERYONE Links to any content - NADA

Alright so after reviewing the evidence as a Senior Mod this is my opinion and this is how I would have handled it was in-game given all evidence was provided. I understand that he "crossed the line" but he did only for a second then he went back and did not even bother you. I would consider this RDM. If he would have gone further in or even kept on going in and back out then that would change my opinion but he only bearly crossed it once, therefore, I class that as plain RDM as you did kill him a good 2 minutes after. Also did you not call 911? would that not give them a reason to go in to "help you" therefore lifting your own KOS? As for the base, I don't care that you spoke to an admin and it is not "in-use" anymore. The fact is that you used the base. If you have any doubt about your base call an admin before doing RP with it. The base can not only not hold 2 people side by side but it also has no support for that walkway at all. So for what I would do if this was a Sit: Whoever killed and/or damaged the officers would get warned for RDM / ARDM depending... Owner of the base (as in owner of the props) would get a warning for False Base. If it is split onto 2 players if someone takes the hit I would warn one otherwise both players get the warning for this.

If it was handled in-game then -Support. Otherwise... +Support The Trooper here failed to value not only his own life but the hostage's as well. This are the rules I see are broken and if I was staff at the time and video was provided I would warn for the following: FailRP - Failed RP because IRL you would not even attempt such a crazy stunt. FearRP x2 - Failed to value his own life as well as the hostages. NittRP - (No intent to roleplay) Trooper had no intentions on roleplaying the situation out. Boddy Block - Used his Ped as a wall to prevent from them walking into the store, now this is iffy it could be used in RP in some situations but in one where 4 people (even if 2 are not involved) had guns out and telling you to move you would. I would also take it personally to advise State Patrol Command about the issue as this person is classified an FTO and is supposed to train people. I would not like for others to be trained to deal with situations the way he did here. {Maybe a minge depending on how many warning he has and the reasons for them but very unlikely}

you gotta wait for someone else to reply to make it count or else it merges and it becomes one msg. @Connortwos @Lex Phantom @Logan @Tom Brown @Cole B. @Flame

Acting professional goes a long way. Even if you have all the right to be mad, showing professionalism shows us you are mature and serious about the situation.

this isn't a staff application, no poll needs to be made. Why does it matter if you had seen them before or not? It's a staff report what???

- Support. No evidence what so ever. Did not follow the format Very demanding

Ok so... Technically there is not a rule on the MOTD that states that you must follow PD's order while you are cuffed. Now that is technically but this is a rule that everyone follows in the server and about all staff enforces. This is something we enforce because the drag feature we have in the game is very glitchy and it can be annoying to get people out of tight spots like door ex... So staff likes to enforce the rule that "You must follow PD's orders once you are cuffed" all tho not "technically" in the book it is something we all enforce for the sake of better RP. Now for my judgement. @Bryce I love you man and I think you are a great admin but this looked a bit mingy to me. You kept on running when you very well knew that the jailbreak was a fail and it was over. There were 2 NSA members there who outran you CLEARLY and kept telling you to stop. IRL they would have tackled you or grabbed you by the hand, no need to take out a rifle and say move or die. So -/+ Neutral on this but as a staff member and as an Admin I expect more from you Bryce. Disappointed

VIDEO IS UNLISTED SO NO ONE ELSE CAN SEE IT OTHER THAN HERE.

Thank you Jeff. All tho I didn't need help on the situation. He was not complying and I gave him multiple warnings that he failed to listen to and so I gave a punishment.

Him and his friend were both roleplaying as prostitutes inside ghetto apartments. His friend was mic spaming and making sexual sounds loudly over the mic. I did not mind it as it was in "rp" later his friend was getting arrested and while not following police orders he was making sexual sounds over the mic. I pull him to a sit and tell him that doing that is FailRP as no one would be having an orgasm. I then noticed his friend's job name title was "15 year old girl" I politely ask for him to change the job title and after some fighting back he finally did. When the sit was about over @Information made a call asking to be brought to the sit. I teleport to him and notice his job name was also "15 year old girl" I bring him to a sit and politely ask for him to change it over and over, he then after arguing with me changed it to "16 year old girl" I asl for him to make it over 21 but he refused and started to argue even more. At this point I am started to get agitated as I was the only staff on duty and there was other calls I needed to take but I was stuck here dealing with him. I continue to tell him to change it when he after even more arguing changed it to "29 year old girl" I asked politely again to change it to 21 or over but he refused. I then stated to him that thus was his final warning to change it and he continued to argue and say "no" I then just about had it so I gave him a warning and a 1,000 second minge. Video of all of this will be uploaded soon I am currently not home. Both of them were roleplaying as underage girls having obnoxiously loud sex. I do not think this is appropriate in any way and asked for him to change it. I feel as a warning and a minge was me being nice to the way you acted in the situation @Information Video will be uploaded at around 3pm EST when I get home. Also about your key bind. @Fame agreed that you must state what your intentions are. If you say get back or get slapped you must slap them not kill them. Sorry I was doing my job as a Mod.
