Sarkic takes up unnecessary space on the server because nobody uses it. If you ask me, I think people don't really play as Sarkic because it's kind of boring. You play as a cult member and have to try to kidnap other players. Sarkic isn't appealing to others. However, changing Sarkic to a different, more interesting GOI, will not only give the branch a purpose, but it can also attract more donators. If Sarkic does get changed to another GOI, I recommend the G.O.C as people seem to like that (and personally, I do too). Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - The only disadvantages to making this change would be having to change the MOTD, change the way Sarkic functions, and find new models. Weapons will (maybe) have to be changed around. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Donators on the server. G.O.C. would effectively be another militarized raiding party for the Foundation to deal with, while the Sarkic Cult is a purely neutral group of suicidal cultists that hinders the operations of both sides. That's not necessarily true, in some canons sarkic is indeed neutral but with all religions there are zealots (like the black lodge). You'd be correct in saying that in *most* of the canons they are not neutral, but to state that they aren't as a fact like you are is inherently incorrect as can be seen during the Inevitable timeline. other than that -support as sarkic is really fun to play as and suicide bombing is fun af. They are meant to be a job you hop on and have a bit of fun with and that's it, but thats just my opinion on this. It can mean either: not taking part or giving assistance in a dispute or war between others, or not aligned with or supporting any side or position in a controversy. The Sarkic Cult clearly aligns with the former definition, especially with how it acts ingame. And you're the one who brought up G.O.C. being more 'interesting' than Sarkic, so if you weren't referring to the lore, what exactly were you referring to? I don't know dude, I've had lots of 3-way fights on the surface. Sarkic should be expanded rather than putting in another militarized faction that will act identically to CI. You don't just have to raid on Sarkic, you can also chill on the surface and pick off stragglers and raiding parties if you're bored. That's fun too! Edit: Actually neither definition fits perfectly. Both hint towards inaction instead of being on their "own" side. The GOC would be more Anti-Foundation, leading it to more or less ally with CI. Sarkics are a good hostile neutrality that I like better. The better idea (even though I don’t want this) is making sarkic an actual branch instead of making a new one. However; I think the concept of having sarkics on the server is excellent and I think they should stay, they just need to be reworked to both match lore and be more interesting apart from just a job to mess around on which would encourage better RP. It's not a main branch so there is no ranking system involved other than the donation ranks. If Sarkic would get regular updates like any other branch on the server I would see it get more popular and activity, however I don't think the managers would want to take the time and effort to update a couple of classes that no one really takes seriously.
