It pains me to type this, as I've feared having to for some time. This server has caused me extreme distress, hardship, and to put bluntly, the responsibility has been a pain in my ass. Though, it has also been character building. I met, and came to become great friends with many. Some, I became a foe to. Not perhaps what I had wished, but controlling the comprehension of others is not something I am capable of. I knew many, and I lost many more. I learned of what responsibility, relationships mean in my time here. If I could remain, I would. I will not deny I do desire to. But doing so would mean throwing away what I have built up in reality. I have worked tirelessly to build myself a future, from where I once was in a terrible spot, where it looked like I would never even make it out of Highschool, I have dug myself out of that, and now am looking at a life where I can specifically strive for relationships, and happiness. I hope my successor does good work for you all. I'm not going to say I plan to return. Because I still have a lot of work to do, and refuse to distract myself from that. Working for several certifications, licenses, and an entire path in nursing is a long, and stressful process. And trying to balance that with being in-game is a pain is the ass. And quite honestly, I don't think I can wait another few months of doing the same thing on repeat, day after day. Just to do the same thing the next day.

 

I wish the best for all of you. While yes, this may be “just a game” things are still built here. I have grown in discipline, and as a person throughout my time here. And I want you guys to understand that. You all played a part in who I am, and who I will become. I am a much prouder, and happier person than I was coming into GamingLight SCP-RP. You all do this. You all shape the positive futures in people’s lives. Thank you for that. I hope that you can continue to do it in the future. If my successor reads this, please, hear what I am saying; CI R&D was my biggest accomplishment. People always said it would never be it's own Branch. It did. People said it would never get it's own reputation. It did. If you be patient, and have confidence in what you are doing. Then you can achieve it all. When hope looks lost, and everything feels as if it’s going to shit. Don’t give in. People will tell you it’s over. That its time to quit. They are wrong. They will leave, resign, avoid, and pretend, but if you choose to face whatever obstacle lays in your path, and you run right through it, take on all the negative shit. You can find a resolve, and prove them wrong. Bringing your branch, and yourself respect, and power. Never give in, stay strong, and never stand down when things look bad.

Here, I list the people I have grown close to in my time here. Half of them likely will not see this. But I wish them the best regardless. I hope you all continue to provide an excellent community as we have for some time now. May that never fall. If I forget anyone, I deeply apologize. Thank you so much for the parts you played!

Beanz - You always were an excellent person to speak to. Easily available, and always got on top of things in an instant. So glad I got to know you!

 

Matricies - Quiet, but capable. Loved seeing you around. You did an excellent job getting to where you were!

 

Skela - Oh dear god. Coconut Mall still leaves a massive hole in my heart. But you played a huge part as to where I am. The original General of Chaos to me. You had some issues along the way, but fuck you made up for it. Glad to see how far you have come!

 

Hoovy - Absolute Hothead vast majority of the time. But it wasn’t something I disliked. Matter a fact, I respected the fact you never held a punch. Never any regard for how the person would take it. You are always about productivity when on-duty. Never change!
 

Dogz - By the time I had met you, you had already chosen to resign. But you still came in-game, and not only that, you always choose to come to CI base to hang out with us. Not something we get enough of with O5! So I am always glad to have our members be able to talk to you!

Orange - A great leader, and a terrifying Rocket League Player. Continue as you have! You did outstanding as General, and I’m sure you will continue to do as you have in higher ranks!

Phill -  You were always very stern, but were good to talk to and funny when that side managed to come out. Hope you continue to do this! 

 

Matto - Always like a double ended coin. You would always jump on both sides and never pick which side you were on. Though, gone. I hope you can find happiness in your new time!
 

Sparkle - Always made Utility Channels fun to be in. I can always expect to join the channel, and expect a totally random conversation about Romantic Ferret Wizards in a Garbage Disposal. Loved that, never stop!
 

Coltable - A great General, very open to discussing, and going through with new additions or changes without hesitation. Made it to SMT, and will bring great things to SCP-RP. Wishing the best for you! Please never change! Maybe stop drinking so much though.

 

Doggo - A great DOL. Not having a mic always made things a little more difficult. But I hope you the best future regardless! Keep growing Utility as you have!

 

Weiss - Not going to lie, I never got to know you as much as I would have liked to! You never spoke all that much. I hope at some point you might open up and I can understand you a bit better!

Starstep -  Quiet, but always willing to hear out what others have to say.

Dang - Outstanding member within HCMD. Twice mind you. You are the reason I worked to get so far. You were my inspiration, and my drive as to why I challenged myself to work up the ranks. Always trying to encourage others to follow. Thank you so much for that, and I hope that you continue to do what you have, and have another sad sap follow you bruv

Enuz - You always kept the channel alive. You never failed to get a good laugh out if everyone, or find someone else to insult every few minutes. Maybe grow a couple of inches and I’ll let the insults sink in. You did outstanding things for CI, and it was great to work on CI alongside you. I'm hoping you keep up how things have been as General, I beg that you make sure neither Branch ever befalls onto another. CI is CI when it is whole. 2 branches, or not. CI is a system.
 

Chaos Insurgency:

Apple - Appl- Wait. No you are the Canadian one. Great member of R&D HCMD command. I am certain you’ll do excellent things if you follow the path you’re on! I trust you will take where R&D is, and lead it on the path it's going. Work as a Team with Vinder, only that will bring you guys fortune! Best of luck to you!

Vindertech - Great kid you are. Looked over previous CI blacklists once, and saw your name. I said to myself, thats not the Vinder I know. Never will I count that againt him. You’ve done so great to get as far as you did. Never give up. Keep R&D where it's going. Work with Apple, you guys will pull off more as a team
 

Fizzy - Great member of CI. Been around a long time, and even in the hardest times, he pushed through to the end. You never gave in. And I have overwhelming respect for that.

 

Cogs - Well I can’t lie. Originally, cleaning up the mess you had left when obtaining HCMD was a bit of a pain in the ass. But you definitely were a very conversational person when you wanted to be. Hope you are, and continue to do well.

 

Hope - Weeb? Furry? Both? I don’t know, or care. All I know is the excellent things you continually brought to CI, right up to the very end. I hope you find something great for you after resigning, as you deserve it.

 

Donwood - My trainer who took pity on me when I was one point off on my tests. For a whole month I though I had passed. You acted as an inspiration, and drive to have me flag up every single day for the past god knows how many months. Stay well dude. Message me at any time.

 

Bagel - Ha! Offbrant loaf! Great guy in CI. Forgetful as fuck sometimes, but we still love you dude. Keep it up.

Zero - A great friend to me in CI. Constantly seeking, betterment, but very caring of its members as well. And how the community was affecting them. Always very sensitive to such things. Something I to this day fail to comprehend.

 

Comrade - Great member of CI, which somehow balanced way to many IRL things with it. Hope you continue to do as well as you have! I hope to see great things!

 

Silver - Some say to this day he still has not taken a shower (love you man)

 

Maze - Went quiet as of late but was very good to speak to for some time!

 

Sosok - Great member of Military Command. Didn’t talk much outside the line of duty, but did well at that I suppose lol

 

Warren - Very good at redirecting people when things began to get out of hand, and recognizing when this was the case. Massive respect bro.
