It's hard to think of what to say, and I've had trouble thinking of what I would say on this day but I know I just have to tell it as it is. After 8 months and thousands of hours put into doing raids with you guys I'm at the end of the long journey for myself. I feel like at this point my enthusiasm to do anything with gmod has been drained and i'm glad that i can end my career with you guys on good terms. Through my time on the server starting out as a gensec recruit learning the ropes and getting my first kick in the rear for saying the forbidden word to getting command in ci back in september. Even though it's been 8 months I feel like I've known you guys for a decade because of the positive impact you guys had on me. I want to thank you guys for making my first time on a gmod server so welcoming and fun, not that I'm joining another because they would not be able to provide the experience like scp rp has. I want to say some things now to the people who i see as friends and ally’s Skela: since the very beginning of my CI career you were nothing but the best leader i had as you constantly looked out for me, trying to protect me from getting banned and letting me keep my rank after the incident. My ban was by Snar and most likely it was for disrespect because me and him got into a dispute and i was very hot headed at the time and im sure i said something beyond stupid that i shouldnt have said, and i dont blame him for punishing me but not a perma ban. I was a frequent gaminglight player back in 2017-2018. I was a Sergeant in the Police department and then i was promoted into the S.W.A.T Division and then i was promoted from PVT in S.W.A.T all the way up to Commander due to a giant S.W.A.T related internal issue and i cleaned the department up and i was commander for 4 months. I also was/ still am a donator to this server. I feel like my ban, doenst deserve perm status. I wasnt perfect with my time on Gaminglight but im a different person and much less hot headed and i miss the server i spent alot of my time on. -support I agree with th3, 3 months does seem quite rushed, and as he mentioned a permanent restriction is meant to be a very serious consequence. Also, you've done nothing to prove you have matured or changed, I haven't seen you on the server since your restriction and if you want to have a chance at this getting appealed in the future you need to reform your image on the server first, prove you can be trusted and have actually changed. After the sheer severity of your staff restriction, you need to do some serious work besides just saying you've changed if you ever want the restriction to be appealed, let alone get on the staff team again.

I think a verbal telling him to be more careful would have sufficed.

Go on the server right now and say "Riot control is OP" (which is a true statement) the only response you will get from GENSEC (enlisted and command) is "go cry about it" "they're not OP" So I don't blame Doom Guy for not wanting to go to command to talk about it, I certainly wouldn't.
