General suggestion - Removing the ethereal from Quartermaster - Denied

What are you suggesting? - Removing the  weapon_ethereal from Quartermaster job

How would this change better the server? - it would prevent a lot of issues and staff sits 

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - it would restrict the ethereal to just alpha units and any other LvL4+

Who would this change mostly benefit? - SCP players 

Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - N/A

Also I believe it’s cpt+ in every branch which is a pretty hard rank to get

When alpha unit was first made people wanted it to be rare to see because of the micro but now it does not matter

SCP becomes unplayable when the amount of ethereal increases

If it did not matter that People could get a ethereal on orange then why cant alpha unit go on site on orange

In the end QM having the ethereal hurts SCP's because they get RC'D so fast why play on them and E11 as a whole as E11 can not enter as often.

SCP's literally can't breach longer than 3 minutes which is annoying. QM's also give all jobs that aren't classed as 'in a branch' I.E the 100+ lvl jobs, Ethereals and apparently thats allowed, No.

I mean yea alpha unit is there for balance between MTF and SCPs so yea giving anyone an ethereal turning them into weaker alpha units without no real reason ruins the balance and not to mention most people don't know how to use the ethereal and go around shooting dclass with it

While I do understand the reason behind removing it as it makes more sense for a member of a Special Forces Unit to run around with a etheral than a member of command, I do believe something needs to be added instead of the Etheral as having "a walking armory" without any additional advantages (like being able to buy a weapon otherwise unobtainable) is useful in rare circumstances and it doesn't add much other than that and the fact the armory is cheaper


So yeah, I do agree but I feel like a replacement would be needed for the Etheral

Because the Barret M82's are 20k in the armory, doesnt mean a sniper job is useless or unspecial.
The only reason everyone has the etheral currently is becuase of the hype around it, give it a week and everyone will be broke and uninterested in buying any more etherals.

Without something like that QM would die off, literally every branch just got something that normally would be considered out of balance in some way or other, if anything having to have a LVL 100 with either 150k to spare or having to pay 150k yourself for something you lose when you die is on the more balanced side of this update.
