General Suggestions

What are you suggesting? - im suggesting that the timer of 15 minutes when an scp breach is stopped should be reduced, but not by too much if that makes sense

How would this change better the server? - i believe it would make people play scps much more and they would have much more enthusiasm as they will know they dont have to wait 15 minutes if someone stops their breach, i believe it should only be reduced by maybe 5 minutes to make it a 10minute wait because then it wouldnt be overpowered but i believe it would be more enjoyable and balanced in a way. also with keters such as SCP 106 and SCP 682 it takes them 20minutes to breach and if they are stopped they have to wait 15minutes which brings the total to 35minutes wait per breach attempt and these breach attempts are super easy to stop i understand that its a small change of only 5 minutes but still. 5minutes is 5minutes lets be honest

Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - maybe one disadvantage is that it could become very hectic once the surver reaches per say capacity of 110upwards of players due to scs breaching more frequently but then again if people start breaches at different times this shouldnt be an issue

Who would this change mostly benefit? - it would mostly benefit the whole server because then people would get to interact and rp with the scps more then usual and this would attract more people as it would be more interesting, it would also give all the gensec their chance to experience patrols and escorts. this would also benefit the player of the scp of course as they will now not have to sit there for 15minutes wait instead it would only be 10 or so.

Please link any workshop content, screenshots, or anything that you think may be helpful to those who view this suggestion - there are none unfortunately

Igneous cut breach times in half once for an event, and maintenance activity sky rocketted. I think the 5 min decrease would help improve activity since there will be more things to do.

As long as everyone stays on top of their own tasks, I really don't see this majorly affecting peeple.

Honestly 15mins cut to 10mins wont change much, all thats gonna happen is when someone gets their self breach stopped, they might actually stay on the scp and continue playing so im in support of this change, currently if your an scp and get Re-contained/Self breach stopped people flag off, nobody is bothered to wait 15mins alone in a scp containment cell so + Support

I feel that it would make people play on SCPs and other jobs

Now some Nu-7 might have a stroke after just 10 minutes, but I feel it would be better for people not to just sit around for 15 minutes just for NLR.

Would really help get MTF and Maintenance active

Though it would have the two running around more, to prevent breaches.

+Support While I can say I have not much of a problem with it being 15 minutes I can see how other people can see especially when you were almost done with 15 minutes of adverts only to get a D class at the last second and now have to wait another 15 minutes OR MORE to do it again. I can see it can be a bit annoying.

There have been times in which I had my Self Breach stopped last minute, and wanted time to speed up. decreasing this would be nice so I don't watch my children grow up just to start a self breach again.
Also I have sometimes seen Nu7 complain about how nothing is happening for long periods of time, doing this may get them on their feet a bit more letting them have more RP overtime, interacting with the SCPs they work with more. And Maintenance don't really do much in the downtime, this will let them do more things keeping them interested.
Overall, A good suggestion.

this is what i was suggesting but the others are correct it would make other roles very annoying to play and that could result in people not playing them, its hard to admit but i was in the wrong here with this suggestion. after thinking over it for a while i see the points made are all correct and im fully in agreement that it wouldnt be a great change after all

- Maintenance go brrrr

 

- Gives E11 a little more opertunity to be in the foundation.

 

- More SCP activty, so more testing 

 

- More SCPs for CI to yoink and test on
