Admin that Banned you: [GL] Rangiatea (for the ban) - Zeus (handling the "sit"/informing me of ban reason in-game beforehand)

Reason for Ban: Attempting to crash the server.

Dispute: 

To start off and give context, as a bronze donator of the server, my prop limit is capped at 10. 

Ten props at a single time at maximum. 

Next, at the time at which I was banned (Around 2-4am), there were roughly 50 people on the server.

I find it hard to believe in any stretch of the mind that spamming up to 10 props at 50 players would impact the server's preformance, or even remotely possibly crash the server.

Yes, I was certainly propspamming and minging, but at no point was there intent nor ability to cause a server crash. 

The props I was spawning (for the most part, I did spawn up to my 10 a few times in a row during my PT, but that was *for* the PT) were the SLAM (models/weapons/w_slam.mdl) hazmat (models/mishka/models/hazmat.mdl) and possibly egg (models/props_phx/misc/egg.mdl) if it isn't on the prop blacklist.

As for my dispute, there are only three issues (according to staff handbook, which I get doesn't apply as much to HoS) that would warrant a permanent ban-
#1- Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, ETC
#2- DDOS Threats, Advertisement of Other Servers, Attempting to Crash Server
#3- Warning Threshold Bans

I am completely unsure how my mass spawning of up to 10 props at a single time would fall under any of these, as I am completely unsure how 10 props could crash the server at all, rather it would more likely be labelled as "Prop Abuse/Prop Block"

I was also informed by a friend that they were told I had gone beyond the "certain limit of props", of which is not in MOTD nor Staff Handbook, and had not recieved any warning covering such info from a staff member any time beforehand.
(Somewhat relevant: I had previously PMed Rang why I was removed from the O5 Staff branch, never got a response back from him, and instead had to contact a friend once again who claims rang told them that I was removed for"dragging 682 around as a pet" (false, but understandable how he came to that impression, as I was taking him to a test- contacted O5 about this), and "prop minging" - both with an extra warning from the friend to not do either again.)

I am not trying to claim I did nothing wrong, rather that the punishment in this case is excessive.

I was there and it was very pog. I was not lagging at all during the whole night. It didn't see any difference in the servers performance.

Jack/Heinz is a good guy who care about this community and I don't think is intention was to crash the server he was just having fun when barely no one was on and he didn't cause any harm.

If his prop limit caps at 10 props, even if he spawns and deletes them rapidly, it does virtually NOTHING to the server.
 

We all screw around with props when we're bored, this does not warrant a permanent blacklist and ban from SCPRP
It would not matter if the logs say he filled out even 1000 pages (which he only filled out 5), it would still not affect the gameplay in the slightest, or even crash the server (it would take a miracle for that to happen with 10 props of the size he was using to crash the server).

 

And No, he was not "going rogue" after his previous punishment and blacklisting from the O5 Staff Team, as much as you would like to believe so.
If he gets unbanned, I'll be keeping an eye on him; but that choice is up to Rang.

Although Jack may not be the perfect player, he was always a blast to play with. I dont believe he ever had any hostile intent towards the server, and besides, who hasnt messed up once or twice?  He adds a great deal to the server environment and to the RP as a whole and without him, it wont be the same.

Now I know Jack/Zepelli as I know him, can be a bit mingey at times depending on his mood and how the server is going. However usually when he is in this form of behavior he isn't harmful or at least trying to be harmful in the slightest, my man is just trying to have fun on a semi serious SCP RP server. I also know he's put alot of time in on this server from making it to the O5 side of Research (Granted he did get taken out of it) to taking over leadership of the D Class mob and trying to help its lifeline stay active. What im saying is, he wouldn't purposefully try and harm the server or its occupants in any way I can conceive in thought. Sure he may have been spawning props quickly but I don't believe there was any malice intended when he did so, more of a wrong place wrong time type of deal if I may say. Overall I think he shouldn't be banned perm. but maybe just a set time that is relevant to the matter at hand, I don't believe he should be warned with a Attempt to crash the server so much as maybe Prop Spam or Prop Abuse, i'd understand this type of warn/ban a bit more if he did it during prime time with maybe 110+ players when props do have a big effect on performance and latency. But then again im just some lesser known guy trying to give my input for the community.

I have 8 screenshots worth of imagines from blogs that shows you continuously spammed the same prop (screenshots will come in shortly) however ignore the current incident that got you banned you had also a few days prior received a verbal from me due to your minging in 682's CC with around 50 of the exact same prop, when I told you to delete them or face a perma you immediately deleted them all (quick note, i looked at the props and Blogs they were all his).  so this wasnt your first incident

The evidence that Rang put forth was, in fact you can spawn more than 10 props. Sixx as BRONZE was able to spawn around 20 something. This in-turn with constantly deleting them, this waste's the server's energy, even if it's barley anything. You were warned by Rang earlier, I was there when it in fact happened. He had Zeus kill you and everyone else, he then warned you to stop spamming props and removed you from 05 staff team.

This is the issue, the prop spamming. I can see where your coming from, but you can spawn a hell of a lot more props then 10. I know you as a friend and would like to see the ban lifted, but the issue is the prop spam. Even if it could not really do anything to the server, it looks like an attempt to crash the server by spamming and deleting props repeatedly.

He even used Sixx to prove the point, Rang even said you spawned them in the lake, not using the props.

This is an also issue, you spawn props for a reason, not to set them in the lake for whatever other reason. I was there for both encounters, I heard everything. That's why I see this as valid, as you were warned dude, by the HoS! 

Edit: This also isn't the second time you've done this, before you were warned I saw many times you spamming signs or any other prop. This doesn't bother me, but just the fact of you did this many times before Rang warned you.

Sarge found all the props and asked me to look at them. They were spammed in the bottom of the lake so its not like he was using them for anything. 
If it was a PT or something it could be understandable but even with a PT idk why you would need to spawn 240 props
They were all in the lake for no reason.
Rang has previously warned him not to repeat this and from what even heard he said he doesn't care about the community but I may be wrong

I begin this by quoting the rules section ALL PLAYERS #3 which states "You should only use props to enhance an RP situation." I hardly see the mass prop spawning of a hazmat dummy in the water on surface a way to enhance an already established RP scenario. 

Also the screenshots which we provided to Rangiatea further prove that you purposefully went out of your way to attempt to crash the server via mass prop spawning which shows intent.

It's a -1 from me.

You guy are looking at this wrong. Even if the prop limit is more then 10 he had no idea because WHEN YOU BUY SILVER IT TELL YOU YOU HAD A CAP OF 10 ON BRONZE. At that point it's on EMT for putting that in the store description. even then, a perma ban is way to harsh for someone simply prop spamming. I believe he had no intent on crashing the server what so ever. Jack isn't the type of guy to do that. I could see a war or maybe a few day ban but a perma ban is next to ridiculous.  Plus there was like 50 people on the server. Like bruh I've seen Rang crash the server with Molotov's before lmao. 

He should at least have the ban shortened, I mean c'mon, really??
