Foundation Test Log(s) (graded 8+/10 only):
Your Operations Advisor Overseer, has informed you there is a group of insurgents collecting foundation data at a field operating base on the surface. They are armed and well secured. How would you approach it? (100+ words):
I would first ask the Covert Agency to send agents for RFA’s protection, as we are non-combatant. Then debrief them on the situation happening on surface, and what our course of action will be. Once we get up to surface, I would set up a field operations base to hold useful equipment; food, water, medical supplies, radios, ammunition, etc. Next, send the Covert Agents in on a stealth operation to find out what sort of data the insurgents are collecting. Once we know what they are hoping to achieve, we can respond to the situation accordingly. For example; if they are trying to access and collect classified level five information, it would be an urgent scenario and we would need to shut it down as fast as possible by sending Covert Agents in to pick off the armed personnel. Then, arrest the un-armed personnel and interrogate them in hopes to find out what they wanted with the information.
There is a strange SCP that calls himself the “targeter”. When the name of another individual is said within earshot of the “targeter” the “targeter” will teleport to the individual that has had their name said, and run off. How would you suggest the foundation approach apprehension and / or termination of this individual? (100+ Words):
I would first suggest trying to restrain and escort the SCP into a soundproof containment chamber; to prevent it from teleporting out of containment when it hears a name. Next, go into the chamber alone and ask it a few questions. Such as; “What is your name?”, “Where did you come from?”, “Why do you call yourself the “targeter”?”, “Do you want to hurt us?”, and “What do you want?”. And for termination, I would first suggest that we fill the soundproof containment chamber with a deadly neurotoxin gas. It would be an ethical way to terminate it, while still being effective. If that did not work, I would then recommend termination by suffocation. By sucking out all of the air in the chamber and creating a vacuum we can suffocate the SCP to death. If that still did not work, I think that more un-ethical attempts of termination may be needed.
An abandoned camp site has been discovered on the surface, hidden incredibly well within the brush. There are documents, newspaper scraps, as well as an old laptop with unknown data being transferred to a suspicious I.P. address. How do you react?
(100+ Words):
First, I would call the Covert Agents to surface for backup; this is an unfamiliar area to us and an ambush could occur at any time. Next, find to location of the I.P. address that data is being transferred to, and stop the transfer of data. I recommend then reading the documents and newspapers to find out what kind of data could have been being transferred. Searching the laptops files could also assist in that. Once we find what sort of data is being transferred, we could then move out to the location where the data was being transferred to find who was receiving the data. We could then interrogate the individual to learn about the data, and why it was being collected.
