In-game Name: Caroline Rank: MS Idea: Create Class-A Amnestics from an SCP-008 sample. Basic Description of what you will do: Take a small sample of SCP-008, and using knowledge from previous experimental amnestic testing (OOC; Have done this on CTF previously) turn the sample into a renewable source of Class-A Amnestics. Hypothesis: This will probably work, it's been done before, and some SCP's even breathe amnestics. For example, SCP-939. Observations (can be a video or audio): *You insert the VHS tape into the player. The screen goes static for a few seconds, then a video feed appears.* *On the video, you see Caroline putting on a hazmat suit, and preparing lab equipment for testing. About 5 minutes later, Caroline opens the second door to SCP-008's containment chamber, and the camera pans over to the inner containment chamber.* Caroline: *yelling* Please lock the doors behind me! *The containment chamber doors both lock.* Caroline: *yelling* Thanks! *Caroline slowly approaches the valve in the middle of SCP-008's containment chamber, raising a small sample collection device to the valve. They then open the valve, and take a small sample of SCP-008 with the collection device. Caroline then closes the valve, and walks to the door with the sample in-hand.* Caroline: *yelling* Open please! *The seconds containment chamber door opens. Caroline walks inside the room, and the camera pans over. They then rinse off the hazardous hazmat suit under the sanitization shower.* Caroline: Alright, time to begin testing. *The video shows Caroline attempting to turn the SCP-008 sample into amnestics. After 7 minutes and 42 seconds of attempting, Caroline drops a piece of glassware, and a shard rips open their hazmat suit. Caroline then slowly transforms into an SCP-008-2 instance within the hazmat suit.* *A mobile task force unit in a hazmat suit walks into the containment chamber, and terminates Caroline.* *The video feed cuts to a time dated hours later. It shows a resurrection attempt of Caroline VIA methods of REDACTED. The resurrection is successful, and Caroline lives another day.* *The VHS tape stops playing and ejects from the player.* Detailed description of what happened during the test: Conclusion: Be very, very, very, very careful if there is further testing of this subject. The results are inconclusive for now, but hopefully soon there will be more cautious testing of the idea. Was Your Hypothesis Correct?: Inconclusive. What did you learn?: That you can never be too careful while testing. Also, that resurrection feels very strange. How Can This Benefit Medical?: Provide an un-finished project for another Medical Researcher to test on.
