I want to become the role of Darth Vader for me to be able to have the opportunity to step up and help assist the community further. Darth Vader is a member of Senior High Command and is filled with many big responsibilities and I feel personally that I am ready for this step and I am willing to dedicate my time and energy to make sure this position is filled effectively. I love working with all members of the community from my work with army as Marshal Commander and conversating with the members of naval and IQ. I enjoy seeing and working with sides of RP and with Lord Vader I would be able to officially help out where I can with all sides. What experience do you have that would be relevant to the role of Darth Vader? The main experience I have related to working as Darth Vader would be my work as Marshal Commander. As Marshal Commander I oversee all regiments under army and there command team. I work alongside General Stone, Grand General Kray, and Grand Admiral Thrawn to help make sure army is running at peak performance. I also communicate with High Command about general issues within RP and help put out my outputs and opinions on any situation that comes along. As the first chain of command within Army High Command I have a full work load with assisting all members that need my help. Why do you think I should pick you over other applicants? I believe you should choose me over other applicants because of my many qualities that I have already proven with my work within the community. I have already proven myself to be a proven leader and a respected member of the community as already being a member of High Command. Dedication is a huge factor that I have proven for myself to this community. I have currently 12 weeks of activity within the server I have been online in the server helping the community almost daily. The main qualifier that I personally believe puts me over the other candidates is my work and my decision making. With my work in Army High Command I have been helping with making big decisions for example who gets commander positions and who doesn't. I take all situations with a non-bias outlook and make it end with fair and justified punishments. Within my time in command I have been training myself and improving on all my faults to get myself prepared to apply for a position as big as Lord Vader. Please outline some ideas that you could bring to improve the server as Darth Vader: With the way Darth Vader is built into the community he is a very versatile character within RP. Lord Vader is mainly made within lore to be a represented to the emperor. If I were to gain the position of Darth Vader I would build on that concept and bring that into RP. I would also step up when I am participating with RP and work along side troopers and lead them into victory for the emperor. I know members of the community have been anxious to fight alongside Lord Vader and I would make sure there they gain that satisfaction. Darth Vader being a sith lord is also a very serious character and tends to do some insane calls which brings more quality to RP. As Lord Vader I would like to help make RP more interesting with commanding execution and etc. ------------------------------------ -=Section 3=- In your personal experience with being a player, what issues have you come across? The main issue I see within RP is the fact some members gain a position and will think they are over people and will attempt to basically have a "I'm right, your wrong" outlook. I may be a serious member of the community saying as I'm High Command but yet still this is a community and a game. If were going to make this community work everyone needs to put equal effort into making it work. I also want to see activity raising as well as in-game activities continuing to happened to help keep players entertained. There is quotas we all have to hold up to even us in High Command have the same expectations. I would also want to see command members and players in general gain more respect for each other especially to newer players. In response to the question above, how would you handle and fix these issues? Honestly this is already the kind of stuff I'm dealing with as Marshal Commander. How I would handle this issues is quiet simple really. If I see command members not pulling there wait in responsibilities for the server I will talk to them and tell they need to improve or further punishment will be handed. When it comes to regiment activity as a whole and in-game activities I will step up and assist all I can making sure players are kept busy and are enjoying there time in the community. I will speak with command and make sure consistent flag up calls are being help and trainings are being kept up. If I gain this position I would also love to personally work alongside the Grand IQ and do sims and duels for that section. When to comes to respect and understanding within the community this is something I will not tolerate. If I see members of the command team who are being disrespectful to members of the community they will receive correct punishment as I will question there position in rank. I want to make sure this community is fun and enjoyable for all who join. Anything else you would like to add? I typically check the forums daily and respond to as many post as I can Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? (100 Words Minimum) I feel I would be qualified for this position due to what I have already proven to the community. Right now I am currently a Administrator and part of the support team. I also had this position before when I was a administrator for Clone Wars RP which shows I have the experience to uphold this position effectively. I am dedicated to my work and will always try my best to make sure my work is at its best. I also makes sure to take all situation with a non-biased outlook to make sure to get most effective and right outcome in all situations. Will make sure to constantly improve myself and this community and make sure the forums are held at the most professional standards. If I am able to get this position it would allow me to help out the community as well as further do my job as Imperial High Command when it comes to managing applications. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to pass make a difficult decision? I always make sure to take all situations with a calm and non-biased outlook. I make sure to make the best judgment calls with all situations i'm involved with. A situation where I feel I had judgment was yesterday on the 22nd where I had to deal with someone posting racist screenshots of what another member of the community was saying on the Imperial Command Discord. It was a complex situation where SMT had to get involved. Before handing it off to SMT I jailed him in game and spoke with him. I explained to him that that kind of material is not accepted at all within GamingLight. After speaking with him personally to make sure I didn't make a mistake I asked Senior Admin Adam to assist me. we spoke it through and I suggested that we should give him a week ban and hand his information and the evidence to SMT and if they feel its enough to extended it they may. Adam then asked Superadmin Emoo's opinion and he basically said the same thing but instead of a week he said to do a day. I feel since I handled it calmly and asked for helped when needed it shown that I handled it well. Especially when SMT agreed with the decision I thought up it made me proud of my decision skills. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming the shoutbox due to getting banned from one of our servers? First off I would obviously take a screenshot for evidence and remove all the messages. I would speak with SMT and point out the fact that the member was spamming the chat as well show the evidence . I would give them all the information I was able to grab and hand off the situation and allow SMT to take further action if decided on there end. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warn appeal? First off I would put a response telling them to calm down and tell them to allow the rest of the community to post there + and - supports and the fact that they could be punished for arguing on the post. Explain: I spent a lot of my time studying and learning about star wars lore. I mainly use YouTube as a source but I have spent countless hours watching and reading about the star wars lore. I am honestly a huge nerd IRL and that is shown with my love for star wars. I already know most thing about the star wars about the star wars galaxy. I am also always looking to improve my knowledge whenever possible. Why do you WANT to become a Gamemaster?: I want to be a gamemaster mainly so I further my help with the community. As a High Command member I am always looking at the big picture. I wanna be able to help the event team keep the troopers entertained as well as expend what I can do for my men. With being GM i'm not looking to only doing events I wanna also be able to host simulations and trainings for troopers to keep them entertained. Give a brief example of an on-ship event, as well as an example of an off-ship event: On-Ship: An example of a on-ship event is that would be that I would send a ISB agent to the ship. No one will realize it but secretly he has no intentions of helping the empire all he cares about is his secret experiments. While he's on the ship he will pretend to try to coordinate with high command on intel exchange for a upcoming assault on a rebel base. As he goes around the ship he will secretly plant seeds around the ship. The ISB member will eventually get caught in the act but before he does he will unleash the seeds which causes beast to grow out of them. The ISB has the chance to escape if he does he will return in a future event if not the threat is eliminated. Off-ship: My off-ship example takes place on the planet of Ryloth. Before leaving to Ryloth a ISB agent will board the ship and speak to High Command and or Naval. He will advise that they have received intel that there is a rebel spy on the planet on Ryloth and that we believe he will be meeting another rebel exchanging valuable intel that could lead to there victory in the war. To stop this from happening the ship will be sent to Ryloth to intercept this spy. As the men get to the planet they will search a small city for the spy. Unfortunately no one know what the spy's identity truly is. The troops will have to investigate and find the identity of the two rebel that are rumored to be meeting. Once they troops have found the rebel spy he will hit a alarm signaling rebel forces to move into the city. The troops will have to keep the spy secured as well as hold off the rebel forces. Once the troops successfully hold off all the rebels they will take the spy to the ISD where he shall be interrogated. He will reveal that the intel he holds is blueprints to all Imperial ships and what there weaknesses are. Do you know how to give a weapon/SWEP to yourself/someone? I do see a possibility with the medical droid though. If we can find a way to add it with minimal file size and what not there's a possibility it could be in medical like how the KX droid is in shock. Its a long shot idea but if we could get it to work id like to see that as a possibility.
