Well, the time has come gents. It is time for me to hang up the hat for the last time. Firstly, I just want to say that I am in no way shape or form leaving with any negative feelings. I absolutely love this amazing community that Zeeptin has built from the ground up. I have been with this community for 8 years, literally since the first server, and I know I will continue to stay involved. But as I've done before, I am going to be taking off for a while again. I know this community will live on and prosper without me, which is why I am okay with leaving for right now. To put it simply, I'm just moving on with my life right now. I am 18, and I am just starting out in life right now. I've been doing so much outside of the computer, and I just haven't had a lot of time lately to sit down and play video games, and I am completely okay with that. With everything I am doing in life, there are going to be things I will not have time for, and that is fine with me. I am starting a new chapter in my life starting May 3rd, and so I need to make a lot of BIG changes in order to be ready for this new chapter that lies ahead, and so that is why I am stepping away from the Gaminglight Community right now. Throughout my time with this community, I have quite literally grown alongside it. I started playing GMOD and the Gaminglight Servers when I was 10, and so I have grown a lot, and learned a lot of different things from playing on here, a lot of which will carry on with me into the real world, so I will never forget where my roots came from. From SchoolRP, to MethRP, to PoliceRP, and finally SCP-RP, I just want to say thank you to each and every one of the players that I have encountered while playing on those servers, you guys are the reason why I stuck around, and continued to play for the years on end. After I had stepped away from MethRP, I can easily say that there were so many times where I reminisced on old memories from that server, and so I know for a fact I will dwell on all the great memories I made on all the newer servers. I am not going to be writing out thank-you letters to any single individual, because there are too many people that I'd have to name, and I don't want to accidentally leave out any one individual, so I am going to be writing something for anybody that is reading this: Thank you. Thank you for making my experiences in the Gaminglight Community so wonderful, and for helping me to grow as a person. There are times where my actions and attitude lead me down some not-so-great places, but I learned from those experiences, and I have since been headed down an even better path then when I first joined, so thank you. To everyone over on SCP-RP, Thank you once again. Thank you for allowing me into the community, and allowing me to work up the ranks, and be where I am at now. When I first joined, I had no idea I would ever have been given the chance to become High Command, let alone a Branch Commander. To all of my E-11 boys, I know this is going to hurt to see me leave, but just know that I am comfortable leaving the Branch where it is at. I set out and made a promise to an individual that I would one day become the E-11 Commander 6 months back, and I kept my promise indeed. I also made a promise that I would leave E-11 better then when I had first joined, and I also did just that. You guys are such an amazing Branch, and I am so glad to see that it is at where it's at now, as opposed to the drought that it was in many months back, way before I got brought up into High Command. I am not leaving just yet, I will continue to stick around for the next 48 hours, but once the MTF Meeting on May 2nd concludes, I will most likely be leaving that night. Of course I will still hop on every now and then to say hello, but that might be a rare occurence. To all the PoliceRP fellows, Thank you for allowing me to become Low Command in PD, and entrusting me with helping to lead the lower ranked Officers on the Streets, and putting me on the path to come back to Gaminglight. You guys helped pave the road for me again, and I will forever be indebted to you guys. To all the ImperialRP guys, You guys are such talented individuals as well, from the Game Masters, to the ImperialRP High Command, you guys have so much talent with how you all run everything, and I am so impressed with how you guys are constantly entertained, even when nothing is going on. I know on SCP-RP there is always something to do, but you guys manage to take a situation where nothing is going on, and turn it into such a good time. Thank you to all the Inferno boys for letting me into the Branch, even though I was just brought in by SMT on a fluke, I am really glad that it happened. And so as I am concluding this farewell speech, I just want everyone that has read this far to know one thing. Each and every one of you that play in this community are so special, and you guys are what makes this community so great. So keep rocking on, and always remember to try to make a note in your head to try to leave this community better then when you first joined. (150 Word Minimum): For starters I believe I deserve the rank of Super Admin because of the tremendous amount of work I have put in over the past months. I achieved the rank of Co-Commander in SWAT, and Event Team Co-Leader after months of hard work, and I am happy to be where I am currently. The journey in both SWAT and Event Team has allowed me to grow as a person, being more mindful, and respectful of others. I never thought that I would make it this far in this community, nor did I think that I would ever be applying for Super Admin. Each time I reached my goals on the server, I felt myself wanting to do more, and be more involved within the community to help players the best I can. I am constantly trying to improve myself, and help other staff members when it comes to questions, or advice, and I do my best to be a role model for lower rankings staff members in the community. I always feel that I can improve on something, and I always strive to be the best person I can. I may not have held the rank of Senior Admin for very long, but I feel that I am more then capable of taking on the role of Super Admin, and helping contribute to the community even more. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you?: First I would check the logs, to make sure they're RDMing, then I would bring the person to a roof, and try to get them to calm down, and deescalate the situation. If I'm unable to get them to stop being disrespectful, and disruptive, I would gag them and proceed to ask them questions as to why they were Mass RDMing. While talking to them, I would be checking their previous warns, time on the server, and previous bans on the ban panel to gather more information on them to help me come to a punishment decision. I would do my best to keep them calm, and away from other players to not cause any issues. After speaking to them and hearing their side, the punishment may vary from a 10-20 minutes jail, or up to a 5 day ban as per the staff handbook. I would take into consideration their time on the server, and any prior warnings, or bans to allow me to make an informed decision. These questions are only for people applying for Admin/Senior Admin/Super Admin: What would you do if you think a player is an alt account?: If I suspected a player of being on an alt account, I would immediately inform JMT, or SMT, following Chain of Command until its dealt with. What would you do if a player is threating to chargeback? : I would take a clip, and or screenshot of it, and immediately inform higher ups, following the Chain of Command until its dealt with. A family is mass minging and causing issues, how would you stop the family from minging?: Depending on how big the family is, I may bring them one by one, and explain what's going on, and try to guide them in the right direction, and get them to stop breaking rules, and minging. If its a larger family, I may bring the entire family and speak with all of them, letting them know if they continued to minge, and or break rules it would result in formal warnings being issued. How would you deal with a situation you don't know what to/don't know the answer to? (Don't answer with "I know everything!"): Ask questions obviously! Nobody is expected to know everything, and its better to ask questions then to make mistakes! I would ask for help in admin chat, and see what other staff members thought before making a decision!

-Support Pros: Has past admin experience on 3 different servers Cons: Application seems like very little effort was put into it Still relatively new to the server. We're both in Naval and SF and I've only ever seen you on SF twice. Both times you were afk. (low activity) All of the cons on this list are very easy to improve. You just need spend more time on the server, be active, have fun with your peers, and buff up your application a bit. I hope you take this into consideration and reapply in the future if you don't get accepted. Good luck.

Got on Crip and then based at the big house in suburbs with like 6 random people then Eternity got on Crip and then joined us and spawned all of us a gun and we all went and robbed a bank maybe one of the best days I have had on GMOD because of Eternity even though I did not know who he was when it happened. What is Teamspeak? It is a communication server such as Discord, this is our primary mode of communication. This is where we hold our Staff/Community/Department meetings for the various servers. How do I get started with Teamspeak? First you will need to go to the Main Teamspeak website to download the client here. Once you have the correct client installed, you will want to create a myTeamspeak account (This is optional, however this will help with tag sharing, once you have your account synced, all the tags you aquire will be saved to your myTeamspeak account) -You will want to go to Options > myTeamspeak and then create an account, then check mark the Synchronization box and set it to Automatic How do I join the our Gaminglight Teamspeak Server? -You will want to go to Connections > Connect -Server Nickname = ts.gaminglight.com -Server Password = Leave it empty -Nickname = Use the name that you are using in game or your Steam name -You will more than likely have to improve your security level if this is your first time joining, it will roughly take 5-10 min What do I do now? You will be placed in one of our Support channels and a support member will be with you shortly to assign you the member tag so that you can start joining channels and communicating with all of your friends.

Welp, my time has come, like the many before me. I am leaving the server. It’s been a blast climbing the ranks and meeting so many wonderful people. My time on Gaminglight has been one of the best SWRP experiences I’ve had. From joining Purge at the very start of my time to becoming Boss at the end of my time. I will occasionally come to visit the server and see how everything/everyone is doing. But unfortunately I’ve become extremely burnt out from the server and from gmod in general. Not only that but I need to focus on real life matters, such as school, getting driving experience for my license test, and well spending some more time with my friends and my girlfriend. I have a few thanks to give out to a few people that have really helped me. IC VCMDRS (Rux/Scorch | Bear/Fixer | Saturn/Sev): I want to thank you guys for sticking with IC and helping me out. I’ve watched all three of you progress through IC, You guys have been along for the ride for a long time now, I trust IC in your hands. You guys are one of the finest groups of Command members I’ve ever worked with on SWRP. IC as a whole: I’ve been in IC since Black Friday 2020. It’s been one hell of a ride. I’ve been through two Commanders. Vicious and Itsuki. Both mentors to me in one way or another. I have tried my best to put IC on the right path. I will always be here for you guys through dms, so don’t be afraid to message me about problems. I have met so many wonderful people in this battalion. Keep fighting a good fight IC. High Command: Talila thank you for all of your help, You were a great overseer for IC when you were Marshal Commander. Keep up the good work, I know you’ll make it far within HC. Milford thank you for all of your help as IC’s current overseer, you were a great 501st Commander and one helluva IC Scout Sniper, keep up the good work. It has been a pure pleasure working with everyone on GL. I hope this server continues with the great activity and population. I will see those who are still around in the future at some point.
