Popular Post Sparkle Posted March 27, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted March 27, 2021 What are you suggesting? - Removal of "Maintenance Apprentice" job How would this change better the server? - Due to the continuous and mass abuse of the job, it has been decided by Doggo, Jack and myself, with comments from Command and Enlisted, that it is best to remove the Maintenance Apprentice job. This job has been a detriment to those that took time to train for the branch. We have received multiple reports and complaints about trash stealing, abuse of the gravity gun, and general disruption of RP. Now more than ever due to the recent abuse of 294. While this job was a good idea on paper, it has abused to the point that it has damaged the integrity of the branch without being on the branch. Essentially giving D-Class Level 1 keycards for just AFKing. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - While Level 15+ members will no longer be able to test out the branch, it would be better if they are trained and understand the rules. The training is a way of vetting those who are serious about joining. This creates a tangible record in case of issues. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Maintenance and those directly affected by the behavior of those who get on the job. While people can still minge on donator jobs it happens way less than on the apprentice job, people don't want to lose access to their donator job. Utility is the only branch without one. - Could also remove grav gun, other tools and limit them more, I think It's a good way for new players to get familiar with LCZ and observe people RPing there before they decide to join any branch. The job isn't bad at It's core. - Minge potential is there, but so are possible punishments.
