Chief_ Posted March 24, 2021 Share Posted March 24, 2021 What are you suggesting? - Removal of any explosive type drinks from 294 How would this change better the server? - Less trolls because as of recently people with grav guns have been running around placing the drinks around places or using them to suicide bomb by drinking them near people. This was a problem when the machine had tnt so I don't see why we have a explosive drink. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? Especially if it's contents are unknown. That's what research is for. Have it get disposed or quarantined then have a hazardous material handler help dispose of it. Try to get a dclass to drink it in the event it's something bad. You shouldn't risk your life drinking an unknown beverage. Sacrifice a life that doesn't matter. I agree with Gh0pit 100% here. There can be a lot done with RP. Many people complain there isn't enough of it, but things like how to properly address a situation in RP is one big thing that will bring out the RP in everyone. I remember last year when i first joined, I was a D-class being taken to 008 for testing. The researchers did a very good job at roleplaying the dangers of being near 008 and even went into a full scale panic that a researcher left the door open when 008 was breached. "YOU MAD MAN, YOU NEARLY COULD HAVE KILLED US ALL!" I would like to see more interaction like that. The problem with this is maintenance is causing this. As they are the only ones who really spawn with grav guns so they can move their trash bags around. Also forgot to mention, people are leaving explosive drinks in the vending machines. Which when you type in a new drink and mispell it, it won't change the one in there already so when I was testing a drink it blew me up because the drink didn't exist. I mean this sounds like a situation that could easily be dealt with by just speaking with maintenance command and informing them of this issue. We say on a near weekly basis not to even touch ANY of the SCPs behind those doors. You guys seriously needs to start reporting more. No report = No fix. If Apprentice personnel are doing it, easy blacklist. Give us SOMETHING instead of staying quiet and festering complaints.
