-Support When you're applying for something such as a staff position, you want people to instantly recognize your name and say "Hey! I know that guy!". While yes, I do see you on the server playing mostly on PD, I feel like you need some more time playing, which would include increasing your in-game and forums activity, before I can give you a +Support.

(Moved to correct section.) -Support I was kinda in the middle of a sit telling some people they could not build in front of spawn which I had even asked you to leave. Even when guns started getting pulled, the only reason I physgunned you away was because you were the first one to instigate combat between the two of you that were involved in that shootout.

+Support I would love it if it was command of a dept, but that would be too much work.
-
-Support I feel he should be unbanned because no.
-
-Support A permaban is not needed for something like this.
-
-Support NLR means that you do not remember anything from your past life, so helping out in the same shootout even while standing within PD is still NLR..
-
-Support Work on your activity and consider revising your application, I can't go e you my support until I see both of those things completed.

+Support Above points, though question 16 is incorrect and your forums activity is low. Double check the staff handbook and work on that activity and you'll do fine. Good luck! -
+Support Above points, try to increase your activity in-game and on the forums. Good luck!

+Support Player meets criteria for a 1 day ban. Sad case, but good to see someone is taking the initiative in getting this minge banned! https://gaminglight.com/bans/player/76561198365301050

+Support I only "reviewed" this situation after the warning was issued after John contacted me in TS saying that it was mishandled. I did not give any advice or advised don to issue the warning in question and quite frankly did not know the context of the sit. What did happen was that I talked to don briefly on the roof of PD and gave him tips for the future, recommending to jail the person before pursuing a warning. At no time did I say that this warning was just or should have been issued, and told him to wait for a higher up if one does not come "in time". I can't say whether there was a rule infraction or not since there was no evidence of the situation (other than the warning itself).

+Support Valentino is an active and mature member of the command team and knows how to do his job well. While yes, there are times he can act unprofessional, there are also times where other command (which at times includes myself) are not acting on our best behavior... In terms of time, I'll quote something similar to what was said on my lieutenant application that was put up about a year ago; 3 weeks is long enough if you know what you're doing, which in this case I feel he does. All things considered, I recommend him for a promotion to captain.

So this has technically been suggested before, though I wanted to bring it up again now that we kinda have new forum banners for different staff ranks. I'm not sure where the current name color for Senior Admins came from, though I know they have been here for a while. To better identify or differentiate Senior Admins from Senior Mods, a darker color than what is currently used (and one darker than the current admin one) would help keep those blue ranks apart. See below screenshots: Before edit: After edit: The exact color I am using here comes from the senior admin tag that's here on the forums (the one under my name and profile picture at the top of the post) and is hex #14176a. While this may not be a big thing, I feel like it will help newer users tell the 2 or 3 ranks apart from one another.

In-Game Name: Will Steam Name: [GL] Will SteamID: STEAM_0:0:129363914 What is your staff rank and the server you work in? Senior admin, PoliceRP How many posts do you have on the website? At time of writing, 973 How often are you online on the forums? Daily Why do you believe you're qualified to serve as a Forum Diplomat? (100 Words Minimum) see below I feel I am qualified for one of the open forum diplomat positions for a few reasons such as wanting to further help the community on one of the other platforms we use, being of service to other users on the forums for any issues they have (such as threads needing to be moved and such), and my experience in working in a forums related environment on a much larger scale (such as Google Help Communities). I also feel that my time in staff gives me some position where users on our servers already know who I am and feel comfortable approaching me about issues, which if I were to add forum diplomat to my list of staff related positions (of already being senior admin and support 2), I feel I could better market myself to the community and become more useful overall. Would you consider yourself to have good judgement? If so, please describe a situation that required you to pass make a difficult decision? I have dealt with a fair share of issues and sits in game over the year or so I have been staff in the community, often ranging from a player being stuck somewhere in the map, RDM and RDA complaints, all the way to dealing with reports regarding player targeting and harassment. I recall a time back in late 2019 when I was a mod/ senior mod where there was an ARDM sit called on a trooper for shooting someone driving away from him. Since there was no video evidence that showed what happened, I had come to the conclusion to issue verbal warnings to the trooper instead of formal despite logs supporting the claims that it was ARDM, though I felt there was not enough evidence to issue a formal warning. While this did disappoint the other party who called the sit, I did not want to delay further RP from taking place or run the risk of issuing a false warning for something that was only logs and descriptions from both parties. How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming the shoutbox due to getting banned from one of our servers? To prevent others from seeing the messages and disrupting shoutbox, I would hide or remove the messages and message the individual links to the correct section to post appeals under, or give them the needed resources (like links to each server section if one was not specified). In addition to this information, I would also inform them that if the same or similar behavior continues, further punishments may need to be imposed. How would you deal with a situation where two users are aggressively arguing with each other in a warn appeal? I would leave a message on the thread asking users to keep responses to only + or - supports, which I would remove or hide posts if users fail to listen to that request.

+Support Staff member believes it should be removed AND lower staff can not warn higher staff (Tmod can't warn Sen mod)

+Support Meets requirement for 1 week ban

-Support I'll say this coming from a dispatch command position; this would be AWESOME to have, but it is not realistically possible or doable right now (or ever possibly). We are a semi-serious server after all and not looking for the same experience you may get from using a program like LSPDFR or playing in the DOJRP GTA 5 community that has become popular on platforms like YouTube. Unless if someone wants to try and develop an extremely light-weight system that can be integrated into Gmod and would not be too much of a hassle to operate and manage, then maybe (and I stress the maybe factor here) SMT would consider adding it to the server, though it is still unlikely for it to happen even then. tl;dr: Yes, but also no

-Support Good looking addon, though it is kinda unnecessary when we have a radio and panic buttons that show you the direction the officer in distress is in. We're also trying to keep the number of files on the server down to try and help reduce lag and what not so a suggestion such as "make pd give more useful radio callouts" posed towards PD command or another dept command would be more realistic fix than to add a compus to the HUD.
