Your ingame name was: KING OF LEG SPREAD , just a btw. While handling another staff issue I noticed that there were a number of combat death logs between you and other D-Class. Upon spectating you I witnessed you run up behind someone that was attempting to walk onto the elevator and brain them with a wrench, killing them. I then witnessed you kill two other people. Those three kills, plus the other I think 3 or 4 that I saw in the logs told me that you were engaging in Mass RDM behavior. Whether you and one of the other individuals agreed to fight is immaterial when you're also killing uninvolved D-Class attempting to RP. After checking your record I saw you have 5 previous incidents of RDM, including one incident that was just a shade from becoming a Mass RDM incident as well. Based on these factors I made the decision to issue a warning for Mass RDM, backed up by server logs and my own personal observations, as well as issue a weeklong ban after taking into account your numerous other documented RDM incidents.

Denied Whether or not you were making the joke specifically at Dragin or not, continually making the joke in his vicinity when you know he can hear you is, in fact, the same conduct. You obviously continued to make the joke because Dragin did not like it, and continued to do so after being asked to stop. This constitutes harassment of a player, and this warning shall be maintained.

PARTIALLY ACCEPTED Based on the witness statements and lack of evidence provided by the appellate I can not overturn the ban completely. However, I will be reducing the ban to a total period of one week, rather than the initial two week period that was initially placed. This falls more in line with established guidelines, while also taking into account the appellate's history of Mass RDM and RDMs committed on the server.

Though the console shows I was the one that issued the ban, that's just because the initial ban that I issued was still pending. The panel will automatically show the original person that issued the first bans name if one is still active. As th3 said, he's the one that issued that ban for this. So, sorry for the confusion, but not sorry that you're being held accountable for your actions!

Denied The appellant has made a number of claims regarding a Trial Moderator's authority and requirements to issue punishments that are completely baseless. As stated by former and current Heads of Staff th3 and Rangiatea, Trial Moderators have the same authority as other, more senior staff members and do not have special requirements to have video evidence to issues warnings under their authority. The appellant has failed to provide evidence why this warning was false, and as such, this warning is upheld.

But you didn't call out in the admin chat that a trainee needed to be removed, and staff members are literally their for that purpose of handling people that are minging and causing problems.

This is your warning, so you're responsible for taking care of it, no one else. You also don't have video evidence to contest the warning, so by your logic your appeal is also on shaky standing, especially since you don't have anything to prove that it was a trainee that you killed and not another GENSEC member.

Just as a point of note, witnesses and video aren't the only points of evidence. As a trial moderator, Jorj has access to the logs which shows combat between individuals and also provides snapshots of the fight. Your statement that "A trial mod giving a warn with no video evidence not even witnesses isn't allowed and as such should be removed" is just flat incorrect. If you're dealing with a trainee that is minging, using homophobic language as you state and refusing to stay in bunks you should be calling a staff member to address the conduct, as that's the easiest and cleanest way to go about things. Secondly, this warning is from over a month ago. Why the delay? In either case, @jorj, your side please.

Denied I have reviewed combat logs regarding this incident. You were attacked by a GENSEC Lance Corporal who shot you one time. You then shot and killed an uninvolved GENSEC member that had not shot you. Just because you mistakenly catch a single round in the middle of D-Block when GENSEC is attempting to keep D-Block contained does not give you free rein to retaliate killing people. Additionally, just before you were engaging GENSEC members in firefights as Doctor Bright, which is not what you should be doing on that class. This warning appeal is therefore denied.

Denied We do not revoke old warnings nor have a process to have old warnings removed after a period of good conduct. That's because your record is a reflection of your history and behavior on the server. As you are not contesting the validity of the branch disrespect warning, that one will be staying. For the mic spam warning, that will be staying as well, as it's been nearly three weeks since it was issued, as you did not present evidence that the warning was false.
