This whole thing is you gotta entice those groups to get on but typically those groups tend to be non-existent when the time comes. An issue compounded by issues stacked on top another issue. Sift through all that and the root just ends up being... people. Can't force people to get on certain jobs over others which in turn does not incentivize doing inclusive events. Maybe this recent update may change things (if it sticks, god willing) and we can go back to those times. But you are still dependent on people giving damns.

Im sure you are aware I was forcibly removed without a chance to properly resign. Worse my home branch reserves wilfully stripped without regard. Despite the words said to me stating they don't discredit my work. No one has to look up to me anymore. I always understood that my along with my team, our actions will always have pushback. There will always be disagreement. My words weren't intended to twist, it was intended to give the face of reality from a perspective of someone up top who watched it all unfold. People SHOULD just look at the reason for the resignation but you know in whole that everything is stacked against you. I mean you got Dick Grayson downvoting anything remotely positive about you. Kinda how it is. So I say more clearly, if you go to CG, STAY. You have better chances to succeed than you do here now and into the future.

I gave some advocations but it was very clear the higher powers wouldn't let you through. Some advice if you choose to hear. Even if you do return, you may end up hard stuck like you were three times over. Even if you do return, the opinions may never change. Even if you do return, you may be hit with a ton of resistance even if you change yourself sometime later. Keep your name in the reserves list if you get them and stay in good standing. This ban is actually JUST short of a year. His perm is listed for August 4th of last year, it's still July. Not discounting the console ban stuff but it's not listed as a "blacklist" so he's within guidelines. +Support We can throw bones every once in a while.

That... should be happening anyway? Is it not? This would be something to handle directly with the branches to pull back on expended usage of the Ethereal. Something simple as SCP recontainment should not be shortcut that much especially if nothing else is happening. The walk back smack talk is the best part of recontainment for both sides. +Support for the branches to look over their procedures if necessary. This issue doesn't need more than that.

Hello, you probably weren’t expecting this (or were, you know who you are) but I am here today. Make no mistake about this post. I was forcibly removed from O5 today for reasons specific to me and my actions towards SMT. The deeper details I am not allowed to get into. With that said, I have no regrets. Well… some regrets to the people that ended up being involved I didn’t intend to. I know a select crowd that will be celebrating and applauding my removal but that’s okay. At the end of the day, I was very unhappy with the direction and general failures that were occurring under all of us. That’s all I’ll say on the matter. Onto the resignation itself. It has been a fun 2 and a half year journey. 1 and a half which was fighting up the ranks. Maintenance (which was originally Technical) was my home branch, the place where I had so much fun with the many members that would come and go. People with so much creativity and cleverness. We made it our own, kept the controversy and drama out and just had fun. Not that much to it and we did our best despite wavering numbers. While I would traverse all the other branches at some point, I would always come back here because this was where RP thrived and was shared amongst all. 2020 was a special time for this community, where everything was at its absolute best. All the branches could hold its own. When I finally made Maintenance High Command 11 months later, I was excited and ready. I fought tooth and nail and overlooks to show I was capable. And damn I think, with the help of Jack, we made it one of the best branches to be on alongside the combatant divisions. I couldn’t be happier to have led such an amazing team. Of course I would fly up the ranks slowly learning my place as DoL and the newly formed LCZ Manager at the time. Gaining friendships with Security and Research and doing our darndest to right the ship. While I would never get to connect with MTF or CI on a deeper level, I always had respect for some of the High Command that gave it their all with what little they were given. With that, it is officially time to say goodbye permanently to Gaminglight. While you may see me on D-Class occasionally and maybe rejoin Maintenance again. Just a matter of what the future has for me. Now comes the long winded individual posts that everyone loves to do so much. SMT Present and Past Igneous: Still best manager. You had a greater impact on the overall wellbeing of this community and made it so much fun and continued to make it fun all these years. I know you saw firsthand the referenced actions. I always thank you for your responses because it was personal and connected. Jayden: You did your absolute best in a brand new and possibly uncomfortable position. I always held respect for you. I had to fight and argue for you every damn time SMT had a look at you. And despite all of that, Head of Medical. It took a while and could not be happier in getting you there.
