Hello everyone, My name is Roman Gardner. Many of you in Police RP know me as PD-LT Gardner, EMS-LT, and a State Police Sergeant. Many of you who know me more on a personal level also know that I am a Jr. Firefighter in my township, for my local VFC. I have been doing this job for roughly a year and a half. I have seen some tough things, things that will make you cry, things that will make you wanna scream, and things that will rip your heart into two. However, it isn't all bad, I have seen some amazing things and even a few miracles, but that is a story for another day. The main topic of today is Mental Health. Personally, I do not suffer from any mental health disorders, but I do have friends and co-workers who do. Many people do not recognize what people go through when they have a mental illness. They cannot get over it. They cannot magically "pull-through". They cannot get better magically. They need help. No, not overbearing loving help, but simple friendly help. Obviously serious disorders such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder need more than just friendliness, but we will use Clinical Depression as an example. Many people are diagnosed with this and it is the most common. I am not going to go into detail of what it all is, but to keep what I'm trying to say short and sweet, you do not need to overbear on people who have mental issues. Treat them like it is a normal day. Have them over for dinner, hang out, watch a movie. If it is a kid you go to school with ask him to play a game of Football or Hockey with you. treat them the way YOU would want to be treated if you were in the same position. Treat them the way they WANT to be treated because you never know how they are being treated by adults, parents, relatives, and even your own peers. You never know what goes on in someone's mind or personal life. If you treat them how they want to be treated, and now how they are treated, they will be forever grateful. That weird kid who acts out in Chemistry Class? Sit down and talk to him. See what's going on. Maybe you might be his only friend. Have a co-worker who is depressed and potentially thinking of suicide? Try talking to them, it might just save their life. The moral of my story here is to try and get people to be better human beings. I want everyone to think about what I say and truly take it into consideration. I know that this post is a little out of nowhere, and my point may be a little everywhere with this topic I attempted to cover, but hopefully, I got the message across. To ANYONE who may read this with a Mental Disorder or is having trouble : There is no shame in asking for or looking for help! Just because you ask for help does not mean you are weak, or a coward. If anything you are ine of the brave, because not many people ask for help. I am always here to talk if anyone needs someone to talk to. I do not care who you are, where you come from, what your race is, what religion you are a part of. I will help you to the best of my abilities if you talk to me. -Support -Q15 doesn't really grasp why you should get the rank -Can have some attitude at times -Not as active as a potential Senior Admin should be You just need to focus on the activity a bit more and have some more time as Admin (On SCP-RP) before you get Senior Admin in my opinion, this is not personal and is just from my point of view.

Wait why is the AWPs barrel so long

It's hard typing a final notice out. I've made a lot of friends that I don't want to leave, but... this server needs to move on a small bit. I've had my time, trying to decide on LOA which I've tried to get on and secure my TS3 ability, but I've just been unable. I'd like to thank Igneous and th3 for giving me the opportunity of staffing. A friend and I were on the server one day and there was a massive server slow down for an unknown reason, the admins still won't tell us why. Everything was in slow motion and everyone was experiencing the problem, it wasn't just us. As a joke to try and make people laugh, I said something along the lines of I hakked the server. I even misspelled it to ensure that it would be taken as a joke and not literally. Nobody had said a thing about it to me until about five minutes later when the admins couldn't figure out what was going on, which was their job. I feel like I'm being used as the scapegoat for this whole situation as a way of keeping the bad light off of an admin who screwed up. I was instantly banned after an admin teleported me to them. People were talking about what I said before I was banned and I think that's how the admins got light of it. I feel that if I was not in that particular situation I would have received a warning, not an instant ban. Yes, I made a mistake, I admit to that. I shouldn't have said anything about hacking the server and should've just let the admins do their job. However, I do believe that it warrants a warning or a temporary ban, not an instant permanent ban. A friend of mine talked to an admin afterwards and the admin said that once the whole situation was cleared up, if there's no evidence of me hacking, I wouldn't get more than a few hour ban. I'm not sure as to why I was permanently banned, as I don't even know remotely how to hack, let alone how to slow down an entire server. --Side note, this isn't why I want unbanned, but I was a VIP+ on the server. I literally gave you my hard earned money, why would I want to hack the server, and claim that I did, just to throw it all away?-- I didn't try to log on to the server for a few days, and am just now discovering that I'm permanently banned. I enjoyed my time on the server and had a lot of fun playing with friends and meeting new ones. I've had bad experiences in the past with corrupt admins, but I want to leave that all behind. I really hope this doesn't turn into another one of those experiences, and that my ban appeal is looked at fairly, and not by someone who just isn't having that great of a day. Also, an admin noted to my friend that the second I was banned the server slowdown stopped. That is incorrect. My friend was still on the server after all of this happened and he says that the slowdown didn't stop until around 10-20 seconds later. I believe multiple claims are false, but I am admitting to saying what I said. I don't know how that is considered "threatening to hack the server." That wasn't a threat, that was a joke. And if there's no proof of hacking to support your ban, I do believe that I should be unbanned. If unbanned, I won't joke about that stuff anymore. Yes, I know you take hacking and ddossing very seriously as you have lots of personal sensitive information in your databases that you want to protect. I don't want to look like the bad guy here, I didn't do anything illegal or wrong. Just a simple joke. Please, don't let this turn into what it has already. I expected maybe a short ban until my name was cleared up and the situation was dealt with. What I didn't expect, however, was a permanent ban with no evidence or proof to back it up.
