[GL] Jack Posted January 27, 2021 Share Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) What are you suggesting? - Make new keycards that is level 2.5 and change the keycard level of the LCZ to HCZ checkpoint doors from level 3 to level 2.5. How would this change better the server? - This new keycard level could be put into the hands of facility personel that are allowed in HCZ but are not allowed to open SCP chambers or enter EZ thus tightening security. This could also be put into the hands of humanoid SCPs like 912 or 527 allowing them to have more access to the facility. This keycard could even be intrusted with low level members like maintainence who could be allowed to access HCZ to clean up trash while not having the power to open SCP chambers or enter EZ. Are there any disadvantages of making this change to the server? If so, explain. - It could be a waste of time or abused if given to the wrong hands. Giving it to 527 may have those who play as him open the checkpoint doors for CI but that could easily be plug by a simple rule. Who would this change mostly benefit? - Low Rank Facility Members and Free roaming Humanoid SCPs possibly. The only time they should be in HCZ is for escorting, and their escort should have the Level 3 card. Most Maintenance Enlisted. Should only be in HCZ to fix CCs if no other Maintenance can. Should have a MTF escort in HCZ, so the MTF have a Level 3. Hmm... Any Research allowed in HCZ should have a Level 3... MTF have Level 3's... Medical allowed in HCZ have Level 3's or an escort with a Level 3... All Command have Level 3's. Nah, I got nothing. And, giving ANY free roam SCP a card to open armories and checkpoints is never a good idea. No matter how many rules there are, there will still be times where Staff miss minges and RP is ruined. Overall, giving ANY SCP a Level 2 or higher card is a horrible idea. Keeps good relations between branches. Also, this is not dictated by the server but by the mod, so they would have to ask the mod creator to change that.
