Former LR Monika Returned Posted November 23, 2020 Share Posted November 23, 2020 (edited) Name: Monika Current Rank: Lead Researcher Time in Research (Approximate): 12 Months since February 14th Why should you be research command, AKA what can you bring to the table that the rest of command can't? I Can give people the motivation to help their fellow researchers and grade tests. I wont resign from the branch at all i make friends with the enlisted ranks and encourage people to have fun in the branch because i want to see research prosper. I have seen Watkin and Glados and Soviet leave and i want to make sure generation two is not forgotten. My activity can help with research as a whole as i can do two mass tests on a single day and help people get noticed by command. I am willing to talk to event team to try to get research to be a part of events not just RFA But research as a whole doing research on newly captured scp's and give out promotions to the person with the most creative test idea. I am willing to help the more mingy side of research specifically the JR's they are at first trying to navigate their way around the branch pushing the rules till they eventually get removed i know how to prevent that. What will you do to make research more active and better? I Have put in a lot of effort into the branch i have seen people come and go i know what i can do and can't do. I want to improve branch relations with medical and mtf so researchers have a better relationship with mtf instead of them being just security escorts i am hoping that they will become friends with them. I would be Strengthening the bonds to security,medical and utility. I can help people out with life whenever someone feels down i help them get back up and get through life. I am dedicated to this branch and its people and i want people to share my dedication to the research department so it can grow and be active. Back at site 5 i was an outlet of fun and inspiring to my fellow researchers one person even joined research because of me being fun and said he joined because i was there so i must have been doing something right. Back when i was a security gaurd before February 14th Ash aka Dr Shaw was my inspiration he got all the way to foundation doctor and i felt happy knowing that he did great things while he was in the branch i want to be like him because he put a lot of effort into the branch and i think it would be nice if i could be in command and give people ideas. People need to have an inspiring leader and give them the will to get noticed by command and i think with me in command i can help with that. As i have been improving myself over the course of these past few weeks i have learned the importance of not minging and being professional. My time in general security has drilled a higher degree of discipline so i am sure that if i manage to somehow become a command member i would be the most disciplined command member and also the most fun one to have on the team. I Understand how event scps in lore work because i research on random scps on my spare time so i am pretty prepared for anything. The life of a researcher is a long life or a short life depending on how long you stay in research you get more better or worse as i am one of the oldest researchers this year. The dedication i have for research is an extreme one if i am not on for more then a day its because something happens thats out of my control also i graduated from high school earlier last week so i will be on as much as i can. I am a better person then what i was in the past and now i feel i am ready for command. I care for everyone and i want to do as much mass tests as humanly possible so i will do more tests so people can get promoted. Life is a hard thing but we are the foundation and keeping the world safe is our job we test so technology can advance further. We shall do more mass tests and another thing i will host as much PT's as i can for the RIG Subclass and i will do more stuff with HMR. The time is coming for more promotions and the best testing thats humanly possible as quoted by Winston Churchill "We shall fight on the beaches we shall fight on the landing grounds we shall never surrender!!" Also on the topic of minges i will crack down on minging hard because i will not tolerate mingery on research and i will make sure that bad minges get removed. Since joining research, leaving, then rejoining, I have seen Monika slowly be less mingy and become more and more of what I would like to see in Research. He is educated in the topic, willing to learn new things about it, and shows more enthusiasm then most other researchers, even if he is eccentric. I know very well that there is a lot of reasons why he couldn't get command, but I believe in second chances, and he is trying to show and is working towards getting one, and if he was truly unfit for command/research, he would be put on a permeant DNP or would be kicked out of research. I know many MTF do not like him, but don't be tempted to -Support just because you've heard stories or had slightly bad experiences from a long time ago, as people do change.
