General suggestion-Remove cloaking jobs

I just have to re-emphasize my +Support for this

 

I absolutely despise cloakers, even though I have access to tons of cloaking jobs, and was the Head of Wardens for a time, I cannot tell you how annoying both playing as a cloaking class and fighting against one is. Playing a cloaking job requires less than half the skill of a regular class, and is an incredibly dick-ish and cheeky way to get kills (especially when you buy and use "meta" guns). When I enter an elevator, and get one-tapped by a shotgun from somebody who I could not see or hear (because the player knows how to use the "ctrl" key on their keyboard), there is 0 counterplay to that. What am I supposed to do? On top of that, because guns in this server take a ridiculously long time to kill somebody, if they manage to recloak in time (because they know how to keep their distance when necessary and hide around corners), then my damage is basically pointless. And finally, if he kills me while I have thermals, I now have to wait a 10+ minute cooldown to be able to counter him.

The easiest way to find a cloaker (without thermals, either because they havent been called out yet or because you dont have them on) is by the noise they make when they move (footstep sounds). When you crouch and walk, you make 0 noise, making it thus impossible to detect a cloaker. So, when I walk into an elevator with a cloaker who makes 0 noise and who I cant see, there is 0 counter-play when I inevitably get shot in the back of the head,

I am with Fool on this one, I don't think that removing the cloakers is the solution, but if we went back to the old way where if you switched off the cloak item it would uncloak you would work wonders, you still have to be tactical and not get caught but if you want to kill someone you gotta either do it right in front of their face or sneak attack them. I think it would add more instead of someone hiding in a corner and then mowing them down while they shoot, if it is adjusted to how fool suggested +Support if it is fully removing I do not agree with that.

I agree with this, if we remove Cloakers, the othe other Donator jobs should be either adjusted or it should be replaced by something. I paid 15 Dollars for it, Samsara is the least worth it from them, followed by Big fucking guns since you need to have played. While to know where to put guns. And the most worth it Is the Cloaker job. 
 

But shouldn’t Nerv it even more, since you have to put away your weapon to cloak again after being shot at or shot someone. It is already pretty weak.

Cloaking classes weren't a major problem back in they day since there was only 3 combat jobs with cloaks two of them being donator (Zeta-6 and CI Infil) the only one you could earn through a branch was Alpha-1 Special Forces which was very exclusive. Even then the old cloak would uncloak you when you switched to a different weapon, if we can't remove them go back to that system

Really busted lmao, I was getting 30-50 kill raids as a a cloaker. That's a whole Lotta NLR.

Cloaking is kinda a no skill item not to mention annoying as hell when some cloaked dude walks up behind you and instantly kills you with a USAS you could implement a feature were the cloaking turns off when you move forcing cloakers to reveal themselves if they want to make a move. But still allowing them to stay hidden at the downside of not being able to move which I believe to be a more fair and balenced version of the current cloaking kinda. Similar to the armor cloaking from halo overall I just fell as though the current version of the cloak swep should only be reserved for SCPs and no other classes but I also think it would be good  if they were to reinvent the cloak similar to what I stated for non SCP classes.

If this replaced the current cloak on all the cloaking jobs that aren't SCP's on the server people wouldn't feel like cloakers are lame af.

I dont fully believe cloakers should get removed but get a rework into this and 90% transparent.

I would say, just change the Cloak sweep to this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1475481224&searchtext=Cloak, it have 4 option, Cloaking for 10 sec, Cloaking for 20 sec, Cloaking for 30 sec, Cloaking for inf https://imgur.com/DWXsYzO, downside you can see him while they walking or running, they have to crouch to still cloaking, it will be annoying for Cloaker job, also, shooting someone while cloaking, will uncloak yourself, I would say just give Cloaker job a Cloaking for 20 sec or 10 sec sweep to make it fair, and don't change SCP Cloak sweep [966, 2191], keep it same.
