  4. 1. Steam Name?: Baby Arm 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:530809788 3. Roster Name?: Baby Arm 4. Current Rank?: 1LT 5. When were you promoted?: Sep 17 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: 5 - 6 months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: I promise to uphold all rules instated by Gaminglight and by the many Security guidelines. 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: I promise to uphold my duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc. 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: I promise to respect and genuinely listen to all that I come into contact with, regardless of ranking or branch. 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I wish to become Security Senior Command due to the absolute and unending dedication that I have to this branch. When I started out on the Gaminglight server, I joined Security and have been blessed with absolutely amazing leadership throughout my time here and I truly believe that is what makes or breaks a player’s experience with GMOD servers. I want to attain this position so that I can expand my reach and help every player that logs onto this server to have a fun and enjoyable experience. Through my time in Wardens Command, I have gained valuable experience in managing members, promoting daily activity, and incentivizing well performing members. I believe that I can utilize this experience in helping to shape Security as a whole and developing all those that may come into contact with our branch. I am able to dedicate 4-5 hours a day during the week to helping support Security activity and even up to 11+ hours a day during the weekends. I feel that I excel in my role as a 1LT and believe that I will be able to shoulder the responsibility that comes with the rank of MAJ. At all times, I conduct myself with a level of professionalism that one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere and pride myself in being able to work well with my peers, even when the going gets tough. I also hope to bring a level of relatability to this position, where all members of the Security branch will feel comfortable coming to myself and other Senior command members with their questions and concerns. I firmly believe that all members of the Gaminglight server should be treated with the utmost respect and care, regardless of their rank or branch and this has proven to be one of my key values when it comes to playing on this server. The connection that enlisted and command share is paramount when it comes to developing a strong server base and I hope to spearhead this initiative through my experiences I have picked up along in life and in my experience of managing multi-capable teams in the professional workplace. I fully understand and realize that I don’t have as much time as some others may have in rank time and server history but I think that the quality of my time being present proves that I am fully capable of holding this position. If I am chosen for this position, I am absolutely positive that I will be able to leverage and benefit every level of command and the Security branch as a whole. My own personal purpose in command is to mentor all of those I come into contact with and help develop them as people not only in game but in their day-to-day lives. Every day, I strive to leave a lasting and beneficial impression on all of those who come into contact with me and feel that that trait is key to being a good Senior Command member. In conclusion, I thank all those who have helped me get to this point through their encouragement and you for reading this application in its entirety. Regardless of whether I am selected or not, I look forward to continuing to improve and support this branch. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would bring them to an area away from any hectic environments and explain that as Security, our main goal is the securement of D-Block. I would also ask if there is anything that they may need that would allow them to continue their duties in D-Block whether that be health, armor, better weaponry, or patrols whenever D-Block is calm and allowing in order to keep them engaged. If they refuse to comply with our standards as Security professionals, I would retrain them and mentor them on what we need to see from them as members of Security. If they still refuse, I would look towards disciplinary actions so that they do not negatively affect other members of Security. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: I would pull this member aside and reinforce why they were selected for this position and explain that we need them to be an example for lower enlisted. I would also inquire as to why they were feeling the need to remain out of d-block and if it is due to them being miserable just standing around, I would work with this member to have them conduct patrols with lower enlisted to allow all those involved to “stretch their legs” a little bit, D-Block permitting. If they continue to refuse, I would look towards disciplinary actions whether that be verbal warnings or strikes because we look to these members as leaders of the enlisted and they need to be able to be depended on. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would begin gathering evidence of their actions with the “Medal” clipping software and then I would explain to them that if they wish to have Security assistance, they need to come to Security command first rather than attempting to hijack the Security members. I would also explain the situation to other Security Command utilizing the evidence I gathered so that all appropriate parties would be aware of the situation. I would also send it to E-11 command so that they could decide how they want to go about handling this member’s actions. My priority would be maintaining control of the Security members under me and ensuring that the situation doesn’t put unneeded stress and worry on them. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: First and foremost, I congratulate them on their promotion and always go over the NCO guide and Patrolling/Stationing guide with those who were promoted to SGT, ensuring they understand that they can now station enlisted and take enlisted on patrols with them as it relates to LCZ/HCZ. I would then explain to them about their expanded capabilities when it comes to calling protocols on the respective codes and make sure that they have their binds set up and fully ready to utilize in the event of a D-Block riot after the training. After that, I explain that they can now join FTO, Sniper, and apply for WO. I particularly focus on FTO and help them to consider joining the sub-branch as that is the future for our branch and thus, I find it very important that we get as many FTOs as possible. After ensuring they receive the NCO tags in Discord, I inform them of the activity logs page and help them to understand everything that they need to include when making their logs, making sure to include members on CCs. Lastly, I ask if they have any further questions and let them know that if they ever do have questions, to please bring them up with myself or other command as we are there to help and assist them.

  10. Name: Baby Arm Rank: 1LT Steam ID (Example: STEAM_0:1:174348602): STEAM_0:0:530809788 Discord ID (Example: Hex-G#0702): Anhedonia#2522 Current Sub-Branches you're in: Wardens, FTO, Riot Control, Sniper Why should you retain your rank (Command ONLY | 100+ words): I feel that I should keep my rank due to the dedication and activity I have for this branch. I have consistently been playing every day and hop onto my command job whenever I see command jobs being light so that we can have a good command presence for all to see. Not only do I support the overall security side of the house, but I am constantly pushing for warden activity and leverage my Warden CMD status to get wardens on whenever they’re available. Not only this, but I am constantly looking for opportunities to Host/Co-Host PTs and off-meeting based on the Security calendar. I also leverage my position to promote stellar enlisted members of security and help mentor those who could use a bit of guidance and help. There is no doubt in my mind that I can continue to grow and look forward to seeing how far I can go within Security. I am dedicated to this branch and hope that it can be seen by our other lovely members of security. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns?: Security branch best branch. #JORDANS
