    Chase's LOA

Name: Chase Warden Name: Flavus Rank: Lieutenant Colonel Length of LOA: 7/28/23-8/4/23 Reason for LOA: Burnt out & need a break. If shit hits the fan ingame I am still able to get on though.
  2. Name: Chase Rank: Lieutenant Colonel Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:36216210 Discord ID: Pancakes#2724 Current Sub-Branches you're in: FTO, Wardens, Juggernauts, CCU, Sniper, Riot Control, Peacekeeper. Why should you retain your rank: To start with acknowledging the elephant in the room, I am well aware that I have not been as active as I should be recently to say the least. I’ve been burnt out recently but I have been getting on the server more frequently now & plan to resume getting on daily for several hours. I have however been a member of Security for over a year now & I have always enjoyed being in Security & helping it run smoothly. As the summer rolls in and more people inevitably join Security I also want to help them better integrate themselves within Security so they can grow comfortable in the branch & hopefully stay in Security. I fully intend to remain in Security and I want to continue helping make the branch better along with all of our other command members. Any Notes, Questions, or Concerns: Hunger games for HOS today?
  3. Name: Chase Warden Name: Flavus Rank: Lieutenant Colonel Length of LOA: 04/8-04/15 Reason for LOA: Leaving for Europe
  4. + Support Justagny has been an excellent roster slave member of FTO command & a hardworking member of Security command. He would be an excellent choice for SCMD imo.
  5. + Support Bucket has been around for a while & has been doing great work in sub-branches. He's been a dedicated member of command and definitely deserves SCMD.
  6. + Support Man has been pumping out PTs low command for like 100+ days give him SCMD already
  7. + Support Gotta agree with Plantbruh that he's a little cringe but pretty cool
  8. + Support Man is a certified chad who just happens to be an extremely dedicated and active member of command who deserves SCMD
  9. + Support Great guy! Man is super active & is a great member of command
  10. + Support He might be bald but as far as being a command member goes Face knows what he is doing.
  11. 1. Steam Name: BATO 2. Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:36216210 3. Roster Name: Chase 4. Current Rank: Captain 5. When I was last promoted: October 29th 6. How long have I been a member of GENSEC (roughly): Almost 7 months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines: Yes. 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.: Yes. 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings: Yes. 10. Why do you want to become a member of SCMD: I want to become a member of SCMD because I truly enjoy being in Security along with playing on the server and that as a member of SCMD I can do more in Security and contribute more to the branch. I believe that I have easily proven myself to be an active, dedicated member of Security command. I have kept a highly consistent stream of activity from the day I joined Security and I have been extremely active in both regular Security & Security sub-branches. Furthermore I have hosted & co-hosted PTs every week, enforced the SOP rules when they were broken by people in Security, and I am always watching and giving helpful advice & help to enlisted & NCOs when they need it. In short I want to be a senior command because I enjoy being in Security and want to do more in the branch. I have maintained a consistent stream of activity and I have repeatedly done my duties as a command member and so I hope you will consider me for SCMD. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D-Block: I would first locate where the officer was and pull them aside to talk. If the officer has a reason to leave D-Block such as getting armor, going to armory to get better weapons, etc. I would ask them to put in comms if they were leaving so others would know they’d be away for a bit. If the officer didn't have proper reasons for leaving D-Block then I would give them a verbal warning to stay in D-Block unless they had an actual reason such as going to medbay to leave D-Block. If the officer continued to leave D-Block after I gave them a verbal warning then I would remove them from Security and place them on a brief DNT. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons: NCOs are held to a higher standard than officers and are the people who spend the most time with enlisted. If an NCO was leaving D-Block with terrible reasons I would first verbally warn them but if they continued to do it then I believe a demotion would be warranted. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security: An E11 private should not enter D-Block without permission from a zone manager+ and so I would tell them to leave immediately because they were trying to take command of Security as a private which they have no right to do and they additionally most likely wouldn’t have permission to enter D-Block. Normally if an E11 enlisted entered D-Block I would ask them if they had permission and if not I would just ask them to leave and inform them that a zone manager+ needs to give them permission to enter. In this case because the private tried to take command of Security however I would go to an E11 command member about the incident and they could handle it from there. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: First you would get the corporal his whitelist, discord tags, & you would log the promotion. Then you have them open the NCO guide and you would go through it with them in depth. I would also make sure that they have all the proper binds for protocols and that they know when to call protocols and when they cannot call protocols. After going through the NCO guide I would explain to them how NCO activity logs worked. Finally I would ask them if they would be willing to join sniper and/or FTO and if they wished to join I would train them for the sub-branch(s) and if not I would send them on their way.
  12. 1. Steam Name: BATO 2. Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:36216210 3. Roster Name: Chase 4. Current Rank: 1st Lieutenant 5. When I was last promoted: August 6th 6. How long have I been a member of GENSEC (roughly): Joined mid June so around 5 months. 7. 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member: I want to become a member of senior command because I truly enjoy being in Security and I believe that as senior command I will be able to make a greater contribution to Security than as low command. I am also active almost every day , host PTs every week, train multiple trainees every week for Security, and promote several members within Security for exceptionally well. I have remained in Security and never joined another branch and have no intention of doing so. I have also had some wonderful experiences within Security and met a lot of amazing people in my time here and learned a lot from my time here. I have always made an effort to assist every person I meet in Security and to mentor them to become a better member of Security and to hopefully make good decisions in Security to allow them to advance further in the branch. As senior command I hope to be able to do more with members of Security and other branches and to use the skills that I have learned from my time here to build up Security further. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block: I would first ask the officer why he was leaving D-Block. People can constantly leave D-Block and have valid reasons to do so. If the Security officer was leaving for no reason then I would talk to them and explain to them that although standing at D-Block could be boring it is still important. I would also inform them that NCOs could take them on patrols in LCZ and that if they wanted to leave they could be asked to be taken on a patrol. If the Security officer continued to leave D-Block for no reason then I would explore disciplinary measures against the officer. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into D-Block and attempts to take command of all of the security: Due to the fact that E11 need a zone manager or higher to permit them into D-Block (which in this case I doubt he does) I would tell the E11 to leave and report him to E11 command since he would be attempting to take command of Security as a private which he has no authority to do. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: After informing the corporal of his/her promotion I would first get them the NCO whitelist and their roles in discord. I would then go through the NCO guide with them in depth and make sure to stress that as an NCO they will be held to a higher standard and will be expected to act as a role model to enlisted since they will be spending the most time with them. I would also stress that they should always remember to take enlisted on patrols when D-Block was fine and to use their new authority they get to the best of their ability. Once the NCO guide is finished I would go over the NCO activity logs and we would make sure that they had all the binds for protocols ingame. After that I would ask them if they would like to join FTO to which if they say yes I would proceed to train them for FTO and if they decline I would ask them if they had any final questions and then send them on their way.
