  3. 1. Steam Name?: InaccuratePlayer 2. Steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:459780903 3. Roster Name?: Inaccurate 4. Current Rank?: CPT 5. When were you promoted?: November 13th 6. How long have you been a member of GENSEC (roughly)?: If you include my time before I resigned, probably a cumulative of 5+ Months 7. Do you promise to uphold all rules instated by GamingLight and by the many Security guidelines?: Yes 8. Do you promise to uphold your duties as a command member in leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, etc.?: Yes 9. Do you promise that you will listen and respect your lower / higher rankings?: Yes 10. Why do you want to become a senior command member? (150 WORDS+): I want to become a Senior Command member for many reasons. Since my return to the server, I have been enjoying the server a lot and have found GenSec in particular very entertaining and enjoyable. I love interacting with members of GenSec and never get bored while doing so. I want to do more for this branch, specifically as a SCMD member as they directly assist HCMD with the development of the branch. I'm also interested in becoming a SCMD member in a branch other than Utility, as I feel like it would be a new experience and it would be fun to do so. I also just want to do more for the branch; as a Captain, all I can really do is promote/demote people, host a PT/Off-Meeting, and help lead D-Block. I want to be involved with new updates, changes, and development of things for GenSec to help make it the best branch on the server. I would love to help HCMD work on new Classes, updates, documentation, and rule changes for GenSec. 11. What would you do if a Security Officer was constantly leaving D Block?: I would first check to see if an NCO+ was actually giving him perms to leave for escort/medbay/armory. If I conclude that he didn't have permission to leave, I would pull him aside and inform him that Enlisted aren't allowed to leave D-Block without perms from an NCO+. I would then place him on the watchlist so other command know to keep an eye on him. If he continues to leave D-Block without permission after I warned him, I would have him meet be in bunks and inform him that since he kept leaving D-Block after being told not to, he would be receiving a strike, which as an OFC would result in removal. I would then tell him that he would be able to be trained again the following day. 12. What would you do if an NCO kept on leaving d-block with terrible reasons?: Depending on the rank of the NCO, I would handle this situation slightly differently. If the offender is an JNCO, I would pull them aside in bunks and talk about valid reasons to leave D-Block (Medbay, Armory, Escorting, etc.). I would then explain that them leaving for an invalid reason puts a bad impression on Enlisted, as they could think that once they're each NCO they can leave for any reason. After that talk, I would say if I saw them doing it again, I would strike them, and send them back to D-Block. I would then fill out a watchlist so other command are aware of the situation. The reason I'm being lenient here is as a JNCO may have only been an NCO for a few days, or even a few hours, so I would not expect them to know the rules like the back of their hands. The best thing you can do is inform them of the rules so they don't repeat the same mistake. If the offender is a SNCO, I would pull them aside in bunks and inform them that they would be being striked for leaving D-Block without a valid reason. I would expect a SNCO to be well versed in GenSec rules and the expectations put on NCOs, so I wouldn't be as lenient with punishment as I would be with a JNCO. After striking them, I would tell them that they could appeal their strike at a set date, and then send them back to D-Block. I would then fill out a Strikes form in the discord, place them on the watchlist so other command are aware of the situation, and possibly a DNP if the specific NCO has had issues before with following GenSec rules/SOP. 13. What do you do if an E-11 private comes into d block and attempts to take command of all of the security?: I would first check to see if conditions were met for E11 to be in D-Block in the first place. If conditions are not met, I would kick him out and then inform an E11 2LT+ of the situation. If conditions are met, I would kindly ask him to refrain from ordering security around, as we already have NCOs and Command to do that, and he doesn't have the authority to do so. If he continues, I would then tell him to leave D-Block, as that kind of behavior is counterproductive and can disrupt our command chain. I would then immediately inform an E11 2LT+ of the situation. 14. Explain the process of promoting a corporal to sergeant in your own words: Copy and Pastes Command Guide After filling out a promotion log and getting into a TS channel with them, what I would do first is tell them the basic differences of being a NCO compared to a CPL is. I would tell them about being able to call Partial/Hands Up on Code Orange/Black, the fact that they can be trained for FTO and Sniper, and the general duties of an NCO, including leading D-Block, assigning escorts, and filling out NCO Activity Logs. I would then give them the NCO guide and have them read through it. After they are done, I would answer any questions they may have about the guide and their duties as an NCO. After that, if they don't have a forums account already, I would help them set one up and give them a little "tour" of the SCPRP forums so they know where everything is.
  4. I agree with phill here, at the very least I would say to give the medic gun to Field Medics, Senior Medics, Medical Command, and ACMs as well. Everything else tho looking fire, +Support
  5. What is your in-game name?: Inaccurate What is your steam name?: InaccuratePlayer What is your steam ID?: STEAM_0:0:459780903 What is your discord username (Ex: Rookieblue#2667): That_Inaccurate_Player#0600 Do you have any other experience with staffing?: (If yes, explain) Ex-Senior Admin for this server, Ex-Admin for GL TTT What date did you start playing on the community? (roughly) June 2019 What date did you make your forums account? July 14th 2019 How many warnings do you have on all GL servers? 2 What is your donor rank? (User, Silver, Gold, etc) Gold Are you a staff member in another community? No Have you read the staff handbook? Way too much Timezone: EST Why do you believe that you deserve the rank? (150 Word Minimum) There are many reasons why I deserve to be a Trial Moderator (Again). The first and biggest one is the fact that I have proved myself to be a competent staff member numerous times, reaching the rank of Senior Admin on this server and Admin back when TTT existed. I was on the staff team for over a year way back when, and was part of numerous divisions (Such as ET, Forum Diplomats, and TS Support). I have the experience and knowledge to become a staff member. Another reason is my ability to use critical thinking and apply my knowledge to most situations. I am currently working/learning in a field that requires lots of critical thinking (I.T), which means that my skills will only get better with time. I also have time to be active (At least 1-2 hour a day, except maybe one or two days a week), as I only work 2-3 days a week and get home from school as early as 2:40 pm EST, allowing me to get on before most students get home if needed. I also have lots of previous experience on the server, being command in multiple branches, HCMD in three (Medical, Technical, and Janitorial back when I was DOU) and even being Site Administration. All in all, these are the reasons why I am fit for trial mod. How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would first mute/gag them so I can explain their current situation to them. I will then give them a chance to give their side of the story, but if they continue to curse at me, I will mute/gag them again. After looking at evidence/looking through logs I would then give them this warning: MRDM | Staff Disrespect and then request an Admin+ to ban them for 5+ days. In your opinion, what is the best way to handle a situation involving a player that clearly does not care about the punishments they are receiving? I would inform them of the repercussions that the punishments that they’re receiving can have on their future in Gaminglight (e.gAbility to become staff/command). If they continue to not care, I would give them a warning and tell other staff to keep an eye on that player in case they continue to violate the rules.
  6. +Support Phil is minge and must be banned Actually -Support tho
  7. +/- Support. While there are a few bad apples on staff who may abuse it, the stuntick is a really useful tool for whitelisting compared to the f2 menu (Easier to add multiple whitelists). I personally used it over the f2 menu when I was staff, as it took less time and effort to use. No reason for et to have it though, yoink it from them
  8. Two great utility members were lost today. Very much not pog. See ya around man.
  9. Not pog, definitely will play CSGO with you sometime. Also welcome to boomer gang.
  10. +Support From what I see in the screenshots it look likes crossfire, but Jameshi's side would be appreciated.
  11. Honestly, I never thought I would do this, I loved my time here and will never regret it., but now I think it's time I move to a new chapter of my life. I have been with GL for over a year and I enjoyed it all, but now with school, my social life, and other reasons I no longer have the motivation, time, or interest to get on the server. I have been thinking about resigning for a while, but now I am doing it. I will still get on the server every once in a while to play D-Class and vibe, and I will probably hop in TS here and there to talk/play games. Here are some peeps who made my experience at GL truly stand out, and if I don't write you down it's not cause I don't like you, but there are dozens, may be 100+ people who I've had good relationships with because of this server and can't put them all: Ingot: Best Manager Rang: Minge, hmu if you want to play COH2 or EoB Catsro: Trash at DBD Rookie: Thanks for giving me a shot at being a forum diplomat, it was a pleasure working with you Rektify: You minge you are boosted I swear, also get Head Admin soon Cutie. Gensec/Research HCMD: It was also a pleasure to work with you all and good luck for the DoRS spot Utility Gang: My OG branch, will still play Baro with you guys, I won't blow up the sub I promise. Shock: Sorry I'm leaving you guys so soon, best branch. To Everyone: I got DoRS, you guys can get anything, put effort into your branch and you will do well. All the people I got to meet changed my life, so thank you everyone for what you guys have done.
