  2. You guys also have to remember these things about if we were the change the map: ALL Perma-props would have to be redone. This includes Offices, Department Bases, Text screens, and miscellaneous props throughout the map Maps are not always optimized enough for a server as populated as gaming light, which could make the lag situation even worse ALL Car dealers would have to be re-done. This means every car dealer would have to be re-made, and I don't think I need to explain to everyone what a pain that would be ALL Spawns would have to be set again. There is around 215 jobs in case you didn't know. Most likely other things that I've forgotten.
  3. The same could be said about our current whitelist system. Low Command can do that regardless because they can tell staff to give someone a whitelist. BWhitelist is configurable to have certain ranks sonly be able to whitelist for certain jobs, like low command for example could only whitelist to like the first or second rank.
  4. What do you want to see? - The bWhitelist system being re-added to policerp. Why sο»Ώhould we add it? - bWhitelist has many benefits. For one, command of each department will be able to whitelist for their own department again. This means that staff doesn't have to be called every time someone gets promoted and if someone isn't on to promote them the person gets screwed over and has to wait. This also creates a conflict questioning the legitimacy of the promotion, because the staff doesn't always know if the person is telling the truth. Two, the whitelist system we currently use is very glitchy. I can't tell you how many times I've heard a staff say that a person can't get their whitelist because they're "Glitched". I don't think bWhitelist ever has this issue. Third, it can help with keeping our departments clean of inactive people. With bWhitelist I know you can remove whitelists from people who aren't online, and it makes it a lot easier. So overall, Command members of each department should have the ability to whitelist for their own branch and people shouldn't get their rank because the whitelist system glitches out. It also takes away time for staff when they get called to whitelist people. I also thin SWRP uses it aswell. What are the advantages of having this? - All of the reasons above. In short, Waste less staff time with whitelists, and Command has the ability to whitelist for their own department. Who is it mainly for? - All players. 5. You gave me one of my only 2 warnings in my around 7 months on the server. SMH. Was for a stupid reason too. but anyways, best of luck!
  6. I think that you have learned your lesson from this ban, and from what you sai I think that you sound sincere in saying that you were just trying to prevent the economy reset. I think you learned your leason. +support
  7. I'm just like you. Took a trip to San Diego once, I want to be back there. Would love to live in that beautiful city.
  8. +Support I understand the RP aspect of this rule, but it just completely breaks the balance. With this rule in effect criminals just shoot at cops for all reasons. If they think they are going to go to jail, pull out a gun and start shooting. It's basically a get-out-of-jail-free card if you shoot at a cop. It also dramatically decreases the number of arrests, because why would they want to go to jail when they can get out of it by shooting PD? Please remove the rule.
  9. What do you want to see? - The MOTD updated. Why should we add it? - There are things like rules or Department info that simply aren't communicated in the MOTD. It is almost 4 months out of date and deserves to be updated. I can't count how many times I've been told that I'm breaking a rule that isn't in the MOTD. The thing about that is, you shouldn't hold players accountable for rules that aren't explicitly stated in the MOTD. Not all players know what SMT says. Think if you just joined and got warned for a "maze base". Nowhere in the MOTD does it says that is against the rules, but you will still get warned for it because "SMT said so". I understand that SMT has authority to do that, but if you are going to be adding rules like that, the MOTD should be updated. There should also be changes to the Department rules. Rules for departments like Secret Service, BSI, NSA, and SRT. Overall I think the MOTD just needs to be revamped in general. There are many things that could be changed and it should be looked over. (Not writing this to start beef with [you know who you are], I just think this needs to happen regardless because of other factors. What are the advantages of having this? - A more informed player base with more explicit guidelines as to what they can and can't do. Who is it mainly for? - Everyone Links to any content - N/A
