Posted December 31, 2020 Share Posted December 31, 2020 What you want to see? - I want to see a rule to add where you can't run backwards with a shield as this has been a growing issue with Government when they just BHOP out backwards down a hill making it almost impossible for Crims to kill Gov, and I understand backing up with a shield is like normal but I feel like u shouldn't be able to BHOP down a hill at the speed of light with a heavy shield... Why should we add it? - You should add it because it's been a growing issue with government doing it and a lot of people I know get annoyed at it and the gov would just run away making crims to chase them and in real life you wouldn't be able to run backwards at the speed of light down a hill... What are the advantages of having this? - The advantages of having this is making it easier for crim being able to kill gov, and it will make gov actually fight crims instead of running half the time and it's a growing issue with gov just running backwards with a heavy shield. People say if you want to win against gov you gotta kill a couple and dip out. With people doing this they hit there panic and there is no leaving until you kill all gov on the server. This is a big issue and this needs to be fixed. At this point the shield are just being abused for gov to hit panics and break nlr. for the people that are going to talk about Negev bhop gov can do this with the nova and be more effective but with a heavy shield you are Unhittable and buying time for other gobs nlr or for them to respond. you may say leave and let them love but then they put an awp out and snipe the driver to death and break the car. The SMT team for this server has decided against adding this suggestion for performance reasons, the benefit to the server, or another unstated reason. I've talked with SMT and we feel this will be really hard to enforce. And even if we did, a lot of players will do it accidently. There are also others reasons too.
