What you want to see? - full lockdowns and the admin lockdowns being bought back Why should we add it? - Often GENSEC will have to deal with riots that last 20 minutes or higher adding in both the full lockdown and admin lockdown can help GENSEC have times when we dont have riots because D class dont want to sit in their little cell for long as it is very boring i think admin lockdowns should be no more then 3 minutes and only after a riot has gone on for 20+ minutes and a full lockdown can only be called by High command+ and only for big riots (10+ d class) What are the advantages of having this? - they admin lockdown (the tower buttons) can force a cooldown period so that GENSEC isnt playing a game of TDM for 1 hour Who is it mainly for? - GENSEC/D class Links to any content - N/A additional info: yes im aware that if a new D class logs on and is forced into their cell it can be very boring for them however for GENSEC playing a game of TDM for 20+ minutes isnt why we joined the server.

/me has PTSD from all the riots i would say during one of carps events i got to play as SCP 966 with him and a few other players and play as his child i was extremely small and MTF was having a really hard time trying to kill me i would just run circles around them they took over 10 minutes to kill me

This is the most important rule out of all the rules. This is taken very seriously. If you, as staff, receive a complaint about being disrespectful to a player it will be a demotion. You are the staff member. You should be one of the friendliest people on the server! Staff Sits Treat every player with the same respect you would treat the higher staff with. Do not be rude in a sit. Never lose your temper in a sit and yell at the player. Remain calm during the sit. Do not interrupt a player that is talking during a sit. We all know how annoying that is. its not so much about us being able to hold them back as it is that we dont get on to play TDM we get on to RP + support on the idea however have it set to a ratio maybe like 5 d class per 3 gensec? or something like that

Hello all, i've been seeing/being told of a few problems on multiple occasions and because i don't want what i say to be lost in discord i will post it here. Weapons Ok so first off the weapons, i am more than aware that they weapons need a buff and that they haven't changed in a VERY long time i am currently working on getting new weapons. Continually saying to me and other command “we need new weapons these weapons are trash” will not make the new weapons come any faster, i have used those weapons before and i know that if you have a good tactic and enough people (even 4) you can hold so try your best until those new weapons come. General Respect This is NOT just about respecting your higher up/officers but more of just respecting everyone in general, it's not very hard to be at least calm and nice when talking to players, i understand that some players, both D class and foundation can be very annoying to you but just try your best to keep a general level of respect. Promotions For NCOs a guide has been made regarding what is expected of you and what we are looking for in terms of promotions. And the enlisted we are mostly looking for competency, but please remember we do not have eyes in the back of our heads and we are not always watching. FTO’s Due to our lowered amount of NCO’s coming in and the times without FTO’s online we have been losing players because they don't want to wait 30+ minutes just to get a trainer, at the current moment i am trying to find a solution to fixing this problem however any FTO that is online MUST train trainees if there are trainees online. Complaining Ok so here is a biggy for me, hearing constant complaining from GENSEC about guns, their fellow GENSEC being incompetent or useless, and D class weapons. I'm going to say this here and im will not be saying it anywhere else COMPLAINING IN GAME WILL NOT CHANGE A THING. If you wish for something to be changed take it it the suggestions in the discord (if its a GENSEC problem) or the forums. I've heard lots of people just start complaining either in game or in TS that won't fix a thing, and if you REALLY don't like something try suggesting a SOLUTION, it really helps. Friendly Fire Im being told once again that friendly fire is becoming a problem within GENSEC. This shouldn't be that much of a problem if someone is in your way don't shoot, if a d class is jumping around you crouch so that you are less likely to be shot from stray bullets from team mates. Any FTO+ or WO+ may take GENSEC for trigger discipline training. Meetings Due to a extremely low amount of personal turing up to meetings SOME meetings may be held IN GAME however this does not mean all or most, there will be very few in game meetings hosted. If a in game meeting is hosted it is to be in the meeting room and MTF MUST be at D block before any personal leave.

How would you handle someone that is Mass RDMing and when you bring him/her to an admin sit all they do is curse at you? I would teleport the player to me in a admin room so that they cannot kill any more players and ask them why the committed mass rdm and once they start swearing a would tell them that they will be gagged/muted if they decided to continue and if i did need to gag/mute them i would tell them that they can now only communicate via admin chat, after looking through the logs and finding how many people they killed i would warn them for Mass RDM x# ungag/unmute them and inform the player that they will be receiving a 10000 second minge for the mass rdm and then minge them

can you send me your concerns over a PM either over here and i can read it now or on discord and i read it when i get home? that way i can try and fix them :D teamspeak is better for the community as a whole as this community is quite big, it is a lot easier on the management team to run things over TS as well if im not mistaken we do have discords for different parts of the community but TS is the main communication application used

but I've seen players who play on security leave because of these riots lasting so long, when they start to last 1 hour or longer it's not RP anymore it just becomes TDM and only the d class like this which causes security to leave the server to find another RP server. nearing a week ago we had a near 24-hour riot, that's not RP for anyone we are not saying add in NLR but we need something as over the past week it has gotten really bad before then it wasn't a problem and before then we actually had MORE people playing overall we could nearly hit our cap most days.

What you want to see? - D class riots being limited on how long they can last for, im not exactly sure on a time i think somewhere between 10-20 minutes each hour is fair Why should we add it? - on the 22/4 (my time) we had a D block riot that lasted most of the day and because of this a lot of GENSEC and felt like we were not playing an RP server but more of a TDM server, and this also stopped researchers from RPing as they couldn't get D class for tests. I don't believe riots should be removed but instead limited to how long they can last for (a riot being 5 or more D class) because if you join a new RP server and want to join GENSEC you will just be sat playing TDM or if you want to join Research you will be sat with nothing to do while the riots are going on What are the advantages of having this? - this will lower the amount of time the riots last giving GENSEC a break from TDM and allowing research to do their jobs Who is it mainly for? - Security and research Links to any content - N/A
